It was a lovely apartment great location. Amazing price
The only feedback I would have is that the hotel needs to work harder to get booking.com to make it more clear that you have to pay a £250 deposit?
The hotel staff said I had an email and text to say I would have to pay a deposit.

We have stayed here before ( different room) this was Excellent accommodation too,it was a lovely little room but had everything you needed, fridge, microwave, plates, proper cutlery, desk to eat at, shower was brilliant, stand up or sit down and shower, bed was fairly comfortable, bit unfair to compare as we just got a brand new mattress at home but it wasn’t bad, what I also love about this hotel is the location, completely in high street but don’t hear anything from pubs nearby when you are in your room.
Bed was ok, not the greatest but definitely not the worst, no noise when you move, which is a bonus , it helps when you need to move and sleep next to a light sleeper .

There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which was handy, they have single rooms availble, which means it was the cheapest hotel option for a single traveller. NCP round the corner.
The chair provided was not appropriate for the desk, the common areas are dark, shabby and the surrounding area was sketchy in the evening.

We are always happy to spend time at New County Hotel. Visited many times lovely.
The weather 😩

All we were after was a place to rest our heads for one night - ie: a bed. So we achieved. Also close enough to the venue we were visiting.
The receptionist was really cheery and helpful, so big thanks.

Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities in room, plus the use of a fridge and microwave if wanted. No questions asked when requested more milk at the reception. Obliging staff when asked to leave luggage for a couple of hours after checkout
Little bit of cosmetic painting on walls required but this in no way impacted on our stay.

The 3 Choirs Festival - the purpose of our visit - was great as always. It was good to have crockery etc. in the room and M & S is handy for buying breakfast to eat in the room.
The hotel is a bit dilapidated. E.g. there was a bucket just outside our room for water that was dripping from the ceiling.

Friendly staff very helpful as I checked in very late (train problems!)
Very cheap room, I only needed to sleep. Microwave and fridge might have been useful in other circumstances.
Quite basic room. A little tired.
Everything looked in need of some updating, but in fairness this was reflected in the price which was cheaper than anywhere else in Gloucester.

Good city centre location but no parking. Staff helpful and friendly. Room in courtyard quiet, which was good as nearby pub music ear- splittingly loud.
Totally misled re building - listing actually showed old church opposite, not actual uninspiring building with broken down cafe bar. Bed hard and pillows lumpy - bed clearly not upgraded when room was. Even when clean at first, toilet gave off horrible smell.

Always a clean, comfortable hotel with great facilities and offering great value for money.

the reception girl was very professional and friendly, the room was clean, the beds comfortable
not a criticism, but perhaps points for improvement: the window was not double glazed and could not be shut properly, so it was drafty and noisy. as we were on main street, the noise was expected, but it is rare these days that the windows still have old single glazing.
the radiator could not be turned off, but maybe it was our fault. overall, we enjoyed our stay and think this is a good hotel.Thank you

Shower was luke warm more cold then luke warm. The shower plug hole needs a good clean as s does the wash basin.

Helpful staff had trouble with the fob to the room but Alice on the desk sorted it so helpful. 👌

Didn’t stay for breakfast- had a restless 13yr old foster boy with me.
Toilet seat was loose but didn’t pose a problem.

Good location. Comfortable bed. Great kitchen facilities in room. And bag check. Also very quiet considering the city centre location.
My only complaint would be there was no headboard so leaning up against the wall in bed was uncomfortable and both of us hit our heads at least once.

The bed and mattress over didn't fit

Fabulous little place right in the centre of Gloucester. We had one of the downstairs courtyard rooms around a querky vintage car - absolutely lovely! Inclusion of a fridge was great. Fabulous shower also. Would definitely stay again!
Television was a bit hit and miss whether it worked or not, but not a huge issue to be honest!
