Manager Ma Li, is the best one. Thanks to her and all W staff!!!
4.5
The staff were super friendly especially at the restaurant. Lucas and his team were great
The private beach was nice.
We had a villa with private pool and beach access which was very convenient
The lobby was beautiful. The location was away from the lively areas so keep that in mind but since we spent 2 days in Chaweng and 2 in W we did not mind the peaceful stay
The kids went crazy over the free ice cream spots
The service and the facilities at W really speak for a 5-star hotel.
I hope they keep it up and keep improving
Mosquitoes! The repellents were not working with the mosquitoes

No complaints about property

Style, art, great beach, fireshow, breakfast, movie nights on the beach, free ice cream!
Don't book speed boat service off the beach vendors. Huge rip off. Swimming pool is quite average for a resort of this style.

Staff and service was amazing
It was second time staying here, unfortunately the villa this time had moldy smell.

loved the location and the feel of the property. Well done to all the staff, particularly Aimme who looked after us so well.
not much.

Everything is convenient
SPA is too expensive

I loved how modern it was and how small and n comparison to Ritz that went to later on. Friendly staff and an amazing room. Also massage was great!
They lacked the facilities! Pool was a ghost town because no bar was next to it. They kept saying that their will be a person next to the pool but never saw one. The beach set up was bad for a Marriott and W hotel, I was shocked. We literally left the hotel everyday and went to the Four Seasons, Ritz, Seen and one other hotel to have our pool itch scratched. The art work and wood needs major refurbishing. Art work from a famous artist was there that looked like it was done ten years ago.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect. There were many options if you have some allergies, or if you are on some kind of diets.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately it was a HUGE disappointment!
The hotel needs a BIG renovations! It was overpriced compare what we got.
The rooms are musty, the bedsheets are stinky. Everywhere you go you have a feeling that it's not clean...
The beach was a huge disillusion! There weren't enough beds, the beds which were available were super used and dirty.
I had to call the beach boys for several times.. The service was horrible there.

Breakfast was lovely.
The resort is run down and needs a some TLC

This is one of the best hotels on the island. While we stayed in other hotels and this was for us the favorite one. The service, area to relax, a huge garden villa. Amazing!
The spa experience was not good. The ladies working at the reception were not welcoming and the massage oils used not natural... I got allergic reaction from them but never had such issue with other /natural massage oils

good location and good service
The overall property is dated.

facilities are good, location great. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Food was superb.
However, we were rather disappointed to discover a plaque on the entrance to the hotel proudly stating the the W hotel is an Honorary Consulate to the Russian Federation and use the hotel conference for government business. Not sure why the Marriot would hold this relationship in these times. Maybe they could let me know?

Staff were exceptional. Shout out to the in-house yoga/Pilate instructor, she was awesome. The technicians, waiters, receptionists, and buggy drivers were all very friendly and helpful!
the bed gave us some of the best night sleeps. the sweetspots were thoughtful, and we really enjoyed the tennis court.
breakfast spread was incredible and the food in general from their restaurants were yummy.
beach inside the resort was nice.
btw, they gave us an upgrade.
quite a bit of mosquitoes (not that they can really do anything about it). the gym was nice but definitely could be upgraded. hated the red lights/decorations in the room (glad the technicians can switch them off for us) and the room were overall a little dim. there could be a small shower place near the Japanese restaurant exit from the beach (sandy feet all the way to where we lived). the location isn’t convenient - be prepared to call taxis or rent a car to get out of the hotel.
