Quiet and tranquil environment, friendly staff and good food. Comfortable accommodation with all the basics.

Alles rundum TOP. Ps your Oligarch 💛

Location , it's near to Addo park.
Management needs lessons in Customer service and decorum.
General staff make up for their inadequate behaviour.
Breakfast was not pleasant and extremely cheap quality.

It's quiet and there's a good amount of space between each of the chalet's and tents. The bush camp allows the feeling of staying in the bush with lots of wildlife around, even a semi-tame zebra! I loved being able to birdwatch in the mornings and evenings. The main building has a nice set-up with big campfire space and a lookout deck as well as a bar and strong enough wifi. The owners are a wonderful couple who live nearby so always on hand, and their staff were super friendly and just lovely guys. We went on a lovely afternoon/evening safari drive with very knowledgeable ranger and great food!
Honestly not much I can fault the place with. It's a bush camp not a luxury lodge, it's catching up after pandemic restrictions caused financial difficulties but there is no actual lack as long as you're there to be in the midst of nature and enjoy that experience. The bar and breakfast variety is limited but perfectly adequate. It's a way from the nearest restaurant and no self-catering facilities onsite so one sort of has to book in for the additional cost of dinner but this is also good food so not actually a real problem unless you're a very picky eater, and they do their best to cater for dietary restrictions/requirements if you let them know in good time.

25 Mins from Addo National Park.
the game lodge itself is its own game reserve.
dinner and breakfast available and very nice.
Wi-Fi in Common areas is good.
very safari—esque
hosts are very friendly.
Rooms comfortable
you must arrive at the property by 1830. the gates are open 0700 - 1830.
we didn’t know (as not advertised on site) but Brian was kind enough to let us out early for our morning sunrise game drive at Addo. had we known these restrictions in advance it would have changed our plans, as we were road tripping.
no Wi-Fi in the rooms (however not a bad thing, as it’s in the middle of a reserve. so it’s fine)

Great location close to Addo elephant park. wonderful tented accommodation gave you the feeling of being 'in the bush'.
3.0
Friendly hosts. Comfortable tented accommodation which had all we needed. Breakfast was ok.
Bar facility and fire pit would have been atmospheric had there been more guests. very convenient for Addo.
We asked to have dinner and were presented with a meal that was basic and just adequate. No choice offered which was a shame.

Jenny and Brian were great hosts. Brian knowledge of viewing the the game in Addo Elephant Park was invaluable. Also enjoyed the dogs.

Breakfast was plain and simple. More than enough for the days outings.
The only problem was no game drives. It does not mention anywhere that you would not be allowed to go on a selfdrive game drive.

Close to Addo, quiet and calm, nice meeting area (barn fire), good for nature lovers
I would prefer a softer mattress. The facilities were very basic, toiletries very basic, breakfast also quite basic.

I quite liked the location and the friendliness of the staff
I did not enjoy the ear creepers. We didn't have a decent shower due to the water changing from hot to cold and cold to hot.

Dinner and location
Shower not hot, requested a double bed and got 2 singles. As they did not want to make the beds up to prepare. Did not receive our breakfast and owner just complained that the staff is on strike. Did not want to refund our brealfast money nor make alternative suggestion how to give it to us. Just they do not stand up on 7 am they will only serve 8.30. As to say: take it or leave it.
