The location was very accessible.
The initial room that was given to me looked like it was a servant's quarters and felt unsafe to leave my things behind. So I requested to lessen my booking instead. When I talked to the receptionist I felt that she was irritated. Good thing they transferred me to a different room and allowed me to cancel the remaining days I booked.

The Staffs are helpful, they are always trying to keep the accommodation as clean as possible.
The house is small and older than I thought. But they always keep it clean.

Not far from the airport or metro. Staff seem friendly and one even helped me with getting my bags out of the car and up the stairs which was very kind. Room was a decent size with a nice little table and chair to sit at if needed, one side had a shelving area next to the bed which looked handy if you get assigned that particular bunk. 2 charging points and a light within each bunk.
One bathroom (with a single toilet and shower within one space) shared between the whole floor so really difficult when you need the loo and it's always locked. No water fountain. Lockers are very small and room is not clean (plus had a cockroach in ours). Also the noise from the road was unbearable (not just motors passing but the beeping never ends). I couldn't sleep.

Very friendly staff, great location, good for backpackers, solo travelers.
Noise outside the dorm, as it's located beside the road. But I guess it's all over Makati, Manila :)

24h reception, friendly staff
the beds are shorter than usual. Filipino sockets only. the internet is not stable.
The worst is the street noise, I've never experienced anything like that. when the traffic decreases at 0:00, the trucks come. It's a bit quieter in the room, but the window is on the street side. It's a mystery to me how you can be here for more than 1 hour without drugs.

I picked this hostel as it seemed to be a good quality hostel also with the reviews that I read. After flying to Manila from Cebu I went to check in at around 5:00AM. It was still dark so of course it looked a bit sketchy but I guessed it was just the darkness.
I went up to the room and already had a light shock. The curtains didn’t enclose the upper bunk fully so you can see the other people sleeping. Unfortunately I had that bed too.
The room itself was very bright because lack of curtains, very loud because on the Main Street like sleeping with the window open, I couldn’t use the plugs even with my international adapter.
I then went to check the toilet / shower. On the 2nd floor there was only one shower and toilet together and when I went to the top I found a really disgusting toilet and shower.
Last concern is that I did not feel safe at all. The people hanging out on the street but also in the hostel looked strange and weird. Very uncomfortable.
I decided to check out and look for something else and ask for a refund after not having been in the hostel for 30 minutes. The owner refuses to give me a refund, which was btw higher than I had to pay too.
I fled this hotel. Worst place I have been so far.
TLDR; very bright rooms, damp, very loud, on the Main Street, dirty toilet and shower and definetly not enough.
Might be fun if you are backpacking but didn’t feel safe at all.

Noise in the street. Bring rubber earplug with you.... Other than that, everything is nice.

I work at night. Every time I get home, I have trouble sleeping because of the noise of people talking loudly inside the room. There were times when I wake up with the AC and fan both turned off. I hope the staff could at least orient their guests and put a reminder to be quiet to allow those who need to rest and sleep. They should also check if someone is inside before they turn off the AC because it's included on what guests pay. Had to cut my stay and book into a different hotel to get a good sleep.
