Good location, nicely designed green villa ambience - comfortable and clean.
Well thought of facilities like mosquito nets and repellants, well equipped kitchen, clean pool and ambient fountains with koi pond.
Close to beach and the main market with several facilities nearby.
Villa arranged free airport pick-ups for us and had night guards after 9pm. Most staff were courteous with some language barrier, but the admin communicated well to organise everything beforehand via WhatsApp.
We had a very mixed experience while travelling with a family of 9... so will list the downfalls:
1. Unfortunately, we had some currency theft from 2 of our room lockers on the 2nd day of our stay while we were away on a sightseeing tour. Though reported promptly to our villa manager, the only action that was taken after a detailed discussion with the senior manager was to be asked to report the incidence to the police on our own for further pursuit.
The manner in which all the room lockers in the villa were tampered on the same day and nothing else was damaged other than few AUD and GBP being picked up, it felt like an insider n experienced work. :( Very sad that it dampened our overall experience and told us off from using any of the room lockers subsequently.
2. The bunk bed room which is attached to the master bedroom was locked and chargeable per night, despite booking and paying for the stay of 2 children via Booking.com. Also, there were no toiletries/linen in the kids bathroom on the entire first day, making my daughter run around to find a place to wash her hands after using the toilet.
3. Bathrooms had a lot of water stains everywhere on the floors and needed some better scrubby-dubb.
4. Loud noise and music at night from the surrounding villas.
5. Bathrooms need a mess cover in open areas to stop excess mosquitoes from getting in.

We love it. Everything were smooth from booking until the day we check out. Staffs were very attentive. Thanks so much. Its our first time booking with Villa Bugis and I can say we’ve made a right choice. The villa that we stayed (Villa Darma) looks exactly like in the pictures. Just splendid.
Nothing much to say. There’s ants at the kitchen area during our first day arrival (maybe can improve on that). But already been taken care by the staffs.
Next maybe can improve the spa & massage services. Some of the masseuse finish their service earlier than we paid for.
Everthing else, is perfect.

We loved the open style of the villa with its fully open kitchen and living areas, and semi-outdoor bathrooms. Everything was beautifully maintained with daily cleaning, gardening, pool care and mosquito management handled by the friendly and kind staff. We loved how super relaxing the villa was as a place to escape after a busy day out in Seminyak. A dip in the gorgeous pool was perfect in the heat.
The property was almost at the end of the gang (lane), so it was a bit of a walk to get to the main road and transport.

Staff are friendly and courteous and they are very puncture to prepared the breakfast for us.
Good keep it up
1. Toilet Very slippery. Dangerous for senior people.
2, Many mosquito and insect.
3. When raining there is no shelter from outside room to kitchen. No umbrella.
4. No mat outside each room, after swim body wet and the toilet need to go thru the room water dripping.

The staff could not have done more, breakfast was delicious, particularly the pancakes! Cleaned every day to a high standard and were always available when we needed them. The security guys were also helpful, welcoming & very friendly
The outdoor bathrooms are cool, and the An Tan is about 10 min walk from eat street one way, and 10 min walk from Seminyak Beach the other way.
The villa AnTan is getting quite old. The layout and outdoor space is great and there is lots of space but there were quite a few things that broke during our stay. The staff were quick to fix anything that needed it but as is unavoidable over time, the property is getting very worn. We had another villa for our late check out which was much newer so it is probably just the AnTan which is in need of a little updating.

The pool area is amazing and out door area is great for a group of people and the kids loved it
Little hard to find

A lot of taxis didn’t know where it was

Beautiful buildings (living room/kitchen; master bedroom; guest room 1; guest room 2; gazebo) and large pool and jacuzzi. About 3 times the space you’d get in a resort villa. The staff come once per day to cook breakfast, clean rooms and tend the garden/pool. Very responsive if anything isn’t working - had to have WiFi and TV and A/C tweaked to work during stay. Rate was 50% off.
Down a dark and narrow alley. Not easy for anything but a smaller taxi to access. A lot of stray dogs in the area - so if you are afraid of dogs growling then don’t walk around - use a scooter or taxi.
