Fantástico!

Localização excelente, muito perto da Régua e numa localização muito tranquila. Casa muito bonita, com muito charme e uma decoração fantástica que proporciona uma ambiente muito relaxante e acolhedor. O nosso quarto (suite superior) era muito confortável e espaçoso, e muito bem equipado. Zonas exteriores muito bonitas (em particular a parte da piscina) e muito bem equipadas / decoradas. Os proprietários são muito simpáticos e tornaram a nossa estadia perfeita (incluindo o pedido especial de um pequeno-almoço mais cedo que o habitual). A repetir, sem dúvida, numa próxima visita à Régua :)

Worth booking the beautiful upstairs room.

Very beautifully decorated and lovely views from the upstairs patio. Really enjoyed the peaceful location and delicious breakfast.

My stay was pleasant and exceeded my expectations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, its tasteful decoration, and the overall comfort it provided. Additionally, the impeccable cleanliness added to the positive experience.

I couldn't find any specific aspects that I didn't like during my stay.

Too bad we couldn't stay there longer

Beautiful and comfortable location, kind hosts, indulgent breakfast, parking, comfortable bed.

The beautiful pool is not heated and we could not enjoy it in the rain, there was no refrigerator in the room for those who care and the TV is not smart, but in a place like this it might be better not to use it but to enjoy the amazing view.

beautiful setting, wish we had longer to stay and enjoy the facilities

we were in a 1sr floor room which had a private terrace. we enjoyed the evening sipping a local wine and snacks. perfect

we had 4 mosquitoes in the room with us. may have been our fault as door was open, but no lights on. they disturbed our sleep. nature!

Very nice boutique lodge in scenic Douro Valley at a great price

A very nice and comfortable boutique lodge. Very helpful and friendly host. Room is good size and comfortable beds. Small pool and nice garden area which is very pleasant to sit to enjoy some wine and cheese. It was a rainy day for us but that did not stop us from having a glass of port just before bedtime. From the garden, you do get a pretty nice view of the surrounding hills of vineyards. Walking distance to Quinta da Pacheca. Breakfast was very generous. Short drive across the river and you will find a good selection of restaurants.

Will hear other guests from your rooms (if you have a room by the pool) whilst they are by the pool or garden.

Excellent location to explore Duoro Valley within short distance to Peso da Regua.

Very comfortable suite with terrace overlooking the vineyards. Excellent breakfast, clean facilities, delightful owners that pay attention to details.

The perfect place to stay for a wonderful trip in the Douro Valley.

I am so happy I found Casa Relogio de Sol. During our two week stay in Portugal, it was by far our favorite. The location is phenomenal with a gorgeous view. The atmosphere is relaxing - the entire place is decorated so beautifully. The breakfast was AMAZING! And the family who runs the place - friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would 100% recommend staying at Casa Relogio de Sol and I hope to one day be back!

If you're in the area and you need a place to stay, definitely pay Casa Relogio de Sol a visit.

We liked everything. The room was very spacious and everything is beautifully decorated. The "garden" part of the property is beautiful and is very well kept. Too bad we didn't get to use the pool because of the unstable weather. The surroundings are breathtaking.

A little oasis

Everything, the accommodation was of a high standard and Carla was an excellent host. The outside patio area was a little oasis with many different quiet spaces and an inside lounge area for guests was both unique and an added bonus.

Pretty and friendly base to explore the Douro region

Quiet, pleasant courtyard with pool and couches, spacious rooms, good breakfast.

Rooms and bathrooms are slightly old-fashioned, but OK.

Awesome host in a beautiful place!

Great spot in the Douro Valley! Host was extremely kind, wish we had stayed a bit longer. Quinta da Pacheca is just a short walk from there so if you'd like to do wine tastings or grape stomping I would highly recommend it! Great value for money.

The room and the breakfast has a lot of small details that make the stay very comfortable. Location is nice if you have a car to explore the surrounding area.

Very relaxing place to stay in the Douro valley.

The breakfast was very good and satisfying. Being outside of Regua, the location was very quiet with nice views of the vineyards. The pool looked inviting but we did not use it. Quinta da Pacheca is just down the road a little bit. Taxis will come from town and get you if you don't have a car.

Great stay! Super clean and comfortable!

Everything. Carla and her family are wonderful people who made us feel loved and at home! The property is well located in close proximity to Peso da Régua, in the middle of vineyards, super clean (her linens and towels were crisp and smelled wonderful), very comfortable and the grounds are very well maintained. Attention to detail is seen everywhere, the property is immaculate and beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of choices. Everything was very delicious. Carla is very conscious of the Covid situation and has taken all the precautionary sanitary measures to ensure the safety of her guests. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day again!
