Nice B&B near the centre of Newcaste

Nice B&B in a quiet neighborhood in Newcastle. It's just a 30 minute walk from the centre of the city (or less by metro). The people working in the B&B are friendly and helpfull; they prepare a good breakfast in the morning. There are some restaurants near the B&B: try the Italian restaurant Mascalzone.

Great deal, great location and superb host

A great value for money find. Steve was fantastic even though he was suffering terrible back pain. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. Room was spotless and bedding and matress lovely. Off all the hotels in my UK trip, this was without doubt the best value for me with a fantastic breakfast included. I couldn’t have asked for more.

For our event it was an excellent location. Delighted with our choice and would highly recommend.

Room was great for the price we were paying. It included a shower, TV, Wi Fi, tea making facilities etc, Breakfast was superb being cooked to order. Landlord was positive and nothing was too much trouble

Very nice place to stay <3

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast was amazing! It is very well located close to public transport and in one of the nicest areas to stay in Newcastle. They offer parking upon request which was ideal for us visiting the city one weekend.

The room was a little cold during the day as the heating was on only in the morning and night, I guess this would not matter for most travelers. It was an amazing stay.

Very good

The breakfast was a standard affair but quite tasty and served promptly. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable with lots of natural light.

Excellent 😁

Very friendly and chatty owner. Made our stay welcoming and enjoyable. Rooms lovely clean and fresh. Beds so comfortable i didnt want to get out. Excellent service at breakfast times. Nothing was too much trouble. Even borrowed his Brolly as it was raining. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning 😁

Nice welcome, owner helpful with parking. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds.clean. No problems and very good value.

There was noise outside the window during the night with students returning after a night out but this property is where many students live so can’t be helped

Very lovely, friendly and helpful hosts. Very comfy single bed with good pillows and a nice big shower towel.

The slightly scruffy single room was quite cramped without any space to sit and work.

We were made very welcome, facilities and breakfast were excellent. We shall return next time we visit Newcastle.

We chose the big bedroom which meant the bathroom was a bit small.

Manager wanted to be helpful.

Toilet seat was dirty, toilet flush took ages to refill, shower didn't drain properly, television didn't work, room couldn't be ventilated, no fan, window only opened a couple of inches.

Brilliant location for a friendly home away from home.

The room was comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was excellent - very tasty and cooked to order. All staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay in an excellent location.
