Wonderful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff.
8.0 / 10.0
The room was large and spacious. The hotel design was amazing, very aesthetic!
The bathroom was a little strange but the worst experience was with the staff at breakfast who seemed completely untrained.

Beautiful design and stunning pool. Very friendly staff
Not in the centre of town but useful if working near the embassies.
Entrance to the hotel is tricky to find, almost no signage.

Breakfast was good
Room great
Dinner - Did not order any meals . Lack Local cuisine. Found it interesting they only serve international cuisine and not Kenyan Cuisine.
Would be great to have local Cuisine not international Cuisine.
People love to experience the local aspect of any country.
I believe Kenyan Cuisine would do exactly that for the international traveller.
After all, that's why people travel to get a different feel, and food is the best of that.

All good
Small details like no hanger for bathroom towels and no facecloths

Noisy air conditional, room also looks over furnished such that little space to walk on

Nice place easy access, amazing restaurant
Lighting in the restaurant - not intimate or romantic. Odd table design, can’t sit with your legs under the dining tables!

Super yummy and pretty handmade chocolate !! Good amenities - spotlessly clean and liked that there were plenty of plugs (travel type) and USB plugs. Made my life so much easier given the number of devices we all carry! Fresh ground Kenyan coffee and plunger in the room together with the kettle was also a nice touch!
Room service (for breakfast) took a long time to come. Ordered granola with yoghurt. It was more of a yoghurt sprinkled with granola!

THE ROOM WAS AMAZING AND ITS REALLY SOMETHING UNIQUE IN STYLE AND VERY COMFORTABLE. ALL THE STAFF ARE AMAZING ALWAYS READY TO HELP YOU. THE HOUSEKEEPING IS REALLY ACCOMODATING ALL THE TIME AND THE AMBIANCE OF THE SURROUNDING IS BREATHTAKING
THE SWIMMING POOL IS TO MUCH PUBLIC LIKE ITS NEXT TO THE RESTURANT. IT FEELS LIKE PEOPLE IN THE RESTURANT ARE LOOKING AT YOU. THE VIEW OF THE RESTURANT IS THE ONE HAVING A RELAXING TIME IN THE SWIMMING POOL QUIET NOT COMFORTABLE TO ME.

Smooth Check-in, my flight made it in late and by the time I made it to the hotel it was past midnight. The Front Desk staff (Alloys) worked efficiently, I was checked in and in my room in less than 20 minutes.
I loved and enjoyed the room assigned. It was in a very serene and quiet section, which helped get over the jet lag and exhaustion of a transatlantic flight. The room was also tucked away from the conference/events occurring at the hotel during my stay.
Loved the Afro inspired decor at the hotel, proximity to the Village market and the ever helpful staff at the hotel.
Will definitely return

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful restaurant/bar downstairs. Unfortunately did not have a chance to visit the spa, though I've heard it's excellent. Pool was great and the location was amazing - just walking distance from Village Market.
5.0 / 10.0
The hotel is next to the Village Market, a shopping mall with lots of restaurants and store, and even a grocery store.
The rooms and service were not 5 star. My couch had a large stain on it, the sheets and comforter were pilled, the minibar was not refilled daily, there were lots of events at the hotel that prohibited use of the pool or nearby chairs, and you can clearly hear those next to you and above you. The power also went out several times during my stay. Their do not disturb sign is a button that is reset when the power goes out. I had a long week before checking in and had looked forward to sleeping in, but the doorbell was rung at 8am because the button had been reset during the night during an outage, meaning I did not get to sleep in as hoped for. When checking out, the staff didn't even bother asking how my stay was - it's like they know service is subpar. The housekeeping staff didn't replace all towels, didn't replace water bottles, and didn't seem to really clean the room - only made the bed. If you are expecting 5 star standards, I recommend somewhere else.

10.0 / 10.0
Food, staff and rooms were great, the design of the hotel is fantastic and it has direct access to the village market with plenty of options for food, drinks, activities and shopping.
It is really quite expensive overall but one of the best hotels in Nairobi

The hotel facilities were excellent and the food delicious as always.
We had stayed at the hotel few months earlier and it was really nice. It is for this reason that we chose to come back as a family (family of 5 including my 100 year old father and a 2 year old child) to celebrate new years. It is unfortunate that our recent stay was very disappointing.
Despite contacting the hotel in advance
- Our rooms were on different floors.
-We had no restaurant reservation for new years dinner and had to insist to get a table finally after 10pm.
- The hotel staff mislead us with regards to the new years programme. They informed us that there wouldn't be any celebrations after 10pm for the privacy of the hotel guests but there was a loud party reserved only for certain guests.
The treatment we received from the staff was unacceptable. We felt less worthy than other guests.

the restaurant and the swimming pool
the room was tiny and narrow
