Location, the feeling you are in a castle, the lobby bar, restaurant was amazing but super pricey
The bathroom needed an upgrade. They say they have some kind of filter in the water pressure to protect the environment. Let’s just say that it was not nice to have a shower… water pressure was very low. The room had a heavy smell that we did not appreciate - maybe from the old furniture??

ligging van de accommodatie, de sfeer van het kasteel
prima ontbijtbuffet, goede service van de medewerkers
restaurant was niet open gedurende ons verblijf

The breakfast was sufficient with good enough selections.
The room I’ve stayed offered fantastic view over the golf course and the water, however, I’ve heard funny noises couple of times during early evening hour and sounds like drilling machine. Not sure what that was? The refrigerator in the room is not cold at all.

Excellent breakfast
One of the rooms was cold, noisy and had dull decor.

The breakfast
Small bedroom and could not access the swimming pool unless you paid extra for the spa. Felt sorry for the cleaning staff as grit/sand from around the building would get carried in on people's shoes.

beautiful property
hard to get to unless you are self driving, thought we were staying in the castle itself but was one of many outhouses. Also had some very very strange noises through the night / morning.

Breakfast is good. Staff is very friendly. Hotel close to the sea and forest, so you can spend some time on the fresh air.
There was very weird sound from walls in my room. I don't know what is it but couldn't sleep well because of that.

Road to the hotel needs reparation.
unclear process. Ive payed via booking.com but i had to pay again before i can take the key.

Martin who runs the restaurant was a star
A bit of an aging beauty in need of a fresh coat of paint.
5.0
Nice location - although some distance from facilities and town
The plumbing is clearly old and 3 times during the night I was working by the pipes banging. I mentioned this to the staff, and the acknowledged it was a recognised issue! No restaurant on the nights I was there

the building, the room, the breakfast
the leaf blower, no restaurant

Wonderful location in the Danish countryside, very quiet. Nice big room, simple but tasteful decoration, cozy bed. Good breakfast buffet, but only served till 9 am.
The restaurant was closed to hotel guests (only catering to special events), there was no room service and the minibar contained only 2 bottles of water. The nearest decent restaurant is 10 km away (but definitely worth the trip: Sollerod Klo, a must). When we didn't want to drive we had to get snacks from the golf club café.
Also, the spa and the tiny swimming pool cost extra (and how mean is this?).

Very nice bicycle areas nearby. You can borrow bikes from the hotel.
A bit overpriced, I would say, but perhaps it was a seasonal high.
8.0
Nice architecture and quiet location. The beds were very comfortable.
The size of the room is rather small. On arrival day the room was very cold due to the ac and we had to wait 45 min for the receptionist to arrive.
4.0
Very disappointing. The AC in the room did not work, the floorheating in the bathroom was at max and the room was very hot. Both adapters for adjustments was broken. The hanger for the showerhandle was broken... not what you expect for that price.

It a place to go and relax away from everything.
Golf, cycling and horse riding in the place.
Spa was amazing.
Too far there is nothing close to you.
No restaurants.
Rooms were little bit small.

A really lovely castle and its surrounding environment. Very
well renovated and maintained. So clean and so nice.
The service level at the hotel was not really top class. No chefs and restaurant available at the castle during our stay and no service available to manage our booking and to extend our stay.
10.0
Extravagant building with cozy rooms and vast grounds well cared for.
The breakfast was outstanding and beautifully served downstairs under white arches.
