Lovely looking buildings, great restaurant.
Poor heating, cold at night. Bathroom ready for a renovation.
7.0
Breakfast wasn't available as they had run out of supplies.
10% extra charge on a Sunday night was a little steep! Sign at the bar appeared just after we had ordered and questioned the extra charge. Was a nice meal but we certainly wouldn't have ordered drinks had we known about the extra charge. Others questioned the extra charge also.

The location was great considering we were visiting Port Arthur Historic Site the following morning.
As it was the middle of winter, the aircon heating in the rooms was a little inadequate.
8.0
Amazing view, comfortable bed. Great dinner in the restaurant.
Air con was noisy and the light on the verandah made sleeping difficult.

The heritage and antique feeling of the design made it feel very cozy
not much

Ideally situated for Port Arthur. Lovely water views from room
They don't do breakfast - only coffee!
Bathroom basin was in the kitchen, so is a sink as well
No electric blankets.
Kitchen overrun with ants. Didn't use coffee pod machine. Tap water was from lagoon, so brown showers! Bottled water in fridge for drinking. Coffee pods covered in ants. Only one spare power point for kettle or toaster. Cord barely reached the bench - not good for kettle on the boil

Receptionist was lovely, very helpful.
My meal was over cooked and dry (the pork belly bites). Told the young waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders, no concern at all.

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed on our trip. Friendly, kind staff. With a storm coming, we were told early to make sure we had hot showers and charged our devices before we lost power.
Absolutely nothing!

Very friendly staff who assisted in making us feel comfortable .
We arrived after the restaurant had closed but they looked after us with some drinks & chips from the bottle shop.
Black hair in the shower waste was a bit yuk !

Our room was lovely, large and with a view over the bay area. We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was very good. There is a bottle shop with limited choice but it was handy. The fire in the restaurant was lovely too.

Stunning view at rear of property. Close to Port Arthur Historic Site. Lovely staff.

Room was fine, large area, good heating which was needed!
Awkward shower taps and kitchen has a bathroom basin etc.. all need updating,
or at least a coat of fresh paint!
6.0
Large room with huge windows with a lovely water view.
The water was brown and smelly. A big step up into shower. Lots of cobwebs outside the window and a few inside with a couple of spiders.
5.0
The restaurant was OK
There is nothing historic about this hotel.
Probably built in the 70s

The room had a lovely view of the bay. The bedding was pristine.
One window had a crack. The room is in serious need of a refresh. The bathroom sink was heavily stained.

Location was great.
Exterior and restaurant were really nice.
This is an honest review for those looking for one. Please note I did raise our concerns with staff when I handed back keys, and they were more than open to accommodate a room change and took genuine note of the issues. Unfortunately, the damage was already done and we decided to move to another venue regardless
The room was very dirty. Dusty (I had severe asthma being in there) and stains on blankets and lounge. Lights didn't work. Switches buzzed as you turned them on.
Heater didn't turn on in bedroom.
Missing curtain or blind in kitchen meant everyone walking past could see into the room.
The front door rattled with the wind all night as there was a sizeable gap under it.
We were really disappointed as the photos of the property looked amazing, and we had heard it had been renovated.
Booked for 2 nights, but we moved to another hotel for the second night.
Again, the staff were lovely, the restaurant and meals were nice and the exterior and location were great. Just not a hotel we would go back to.

We stayed in the Queen Sea View for two nights and we were very happy with the price and the room. Very affordable and comfortable with a nice view.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. For the price we would definitely stay again.
The sink in the kitchen is also the same sink you use to wash your hands after using the toilet. But given the age of the property, it's understandable.

5.0
Great location and great pub.
It’s so run down, it’s well overdue a facelift.

staff
Overpriced for quality of accomodation. No suitable drinking water. Rat baits everywhere.
They need to tell you before you arrive that the tap water is undrinkable rather than once you get to the accomodation so that you can choose an alternative.
8.0
the bathroom in the room was freezing as the window could not be shut
