I enjoyed our stay here. The staff was great. The restaurant was also good.
They could do better with the cleanliness. The hot tub was a pain filling, and the jets don't work.

Fix your hot water. had to open and close multiple times to get hot water.

This is an excellent family-run hotel. It is located near the water fall. The room is clean, spacious with friendly staff. The breakfast is basic. We like the environment. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property full of beautiful artwork and nature.
The windows don’t open much in some rooms which can make them a bit warm and stuffy.

A very nice hotel in a quiet area that is easily reachable by public transport. We came from Puyo and the (public) bus dropped us off in front of the hotel (parada 'Rio Verde). We loved the spa facilities the hotel offers, very welcome after a nice hike to the waterfall nearby. The breakfast was good and the hotel also has a restaurant for other meals and snacks. We loved the details and the garden. Also the staff is very friendly. Great spot before entering the busy town of Baños!
Nada.

From the second we arrived by car, Miramelindo was perfect. We were greeted by vines of orchids hanging from the ceiling, Narnia, the hotel’s dog and Carlita the owner. Everything was superb from the open air rooms, to the spa, to the indoor pool and hot tub. The food was amazing and the staff was beyond helpful in arranging a tour of the Amazon, and giving us directions to the Pailon Del Diablo a few blocks away. Upon checkout, we were running a bit late and the other owner Juan (Carlita’s husband) graciously drove us to the bus stop and assisted us with purchasing our tickets - our Spanish is limited so this was a super helpful and unexpected favor. I could write a novela about the wonderful stay at Miramelinda, but overall, we both agree that it is probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
Nothing really… if I was being critical, I would ask for daily billing statements. Everything you purchase or service ordered is added to your bill and you pay upon check out. This is normal in almost every hotel or spa… however, usually every morning the previous days bill has been added and they are provided with a current total of services. This is the only thing I wish would be added. It’s helpful for those traveling on a budget.

Staying at Miramelindo Spa Hosteria is more than just an overnight... it's a true artistic, gastronomical and relaxational experience that leaves you wanting to return time and time again.
Nothing.

I loved my stay at Miramelindo! I only stayed one night, but the hotel is beautiful. The beds are very comfy, and the rooms are BIG (I stayed in the Coco room, it looks just like the photos online). They have a restaurant, and the food is fantastic! You are a bit further from the city center where a lot of restaurants are, so it is nice they have such a delicious restaurant on site. El Pailon del Diablo is just a quick 15 minute walk from the hotel (go at night, you won’t regret it). The staff is friendly, they have a beautiful little garden you can walk into, and they have heat in one of the pools. I would recommend them!

The perfect place in the middle of nowhere besides a river, with premium cuisine, buffet breakfast steam boxes and indoor jacuzzi

Loved the themed rooms- we had the coco one and the paintings were so colorful and vibrant! We also had a great view of el Rio Verde outside our window. There was a nice central pool outside the rooms on the first floor. Breakfast was great.
It was a little hard to get to, especially since we went there at night by chiva. You can take the bus from Baños, the town of Rio Verde is about a half-an-hour ride away passing a lot of the sites for extreme sports activities (ziplining, la tarabita etc.). It’s near el Pailon del Diablo. Best to plan out how you’re going to get there beforehand, because you don’t want to be stuck in the dark and downpour (like us!) looking around for the hotel. Returning to Baños, the bus passed right by the hotel though so that was convenient.

Amazing hotel in a very special design, The owner of the hotel and his wife, personally helped us. the restaurant, breakfast, and dinner were excellent, especially the Tzimtsuri. The view from the room was to the river excellent view.
strongly recommends coming to the hotel

A lovely place a bit from the town center, great warm pool and spa facility. Loved the furnishings! The place looks great and all rooms are unique! Tasty breakfast! Make sure to book the one you and your partner like :)
Catching a buss back to town is difficult but fortunately the hotel staff helped us order a cab for around, cab was about 12$
Watch for wasp-nests outside of windows and more pool light would be nice for the big pool at evenings. 👍

Location and staff friendliness..
hot water supply had to be fixed twice.

my jaw dropped the second I walked into that place. it is majestic and one of a kind.
Grade A hospitality.
off the beaten path surrounded by stunning views of mountains and a flowing river.
the room was extremely comfortable and luxurious
while there is not much surrounding it you don’t need to go anywhere because everything that came out of the kitchen including the complimentary breakfast was absolutely phenomenal!

ARRIVED ON A RAINY BDAY BUT WE WERE ABLE TO USE THE WARM POOL FOR MY CHILD AND I USED THE TURCO AND STEAM ROOM , SO GOOD

I loved the vibe here! it was colorful, artsy, comfortable, clean, etc! it is a drive from town, but I preferred being in the hills and next to the river! Juan the owner is awesome and so helpful! Spa is incredible and super reasonable! One of those places you stay that just makes your heart happy!
my only complaint is that the hot tub could have been hotter and the pool warmer. I did ask to have the hot tub hotter and Juan adjusted.

This was hands down one of my favorite stays in Ecuador for my honeymoon trip. This places is truly a gem. The unique artwork paired with the gardens makes this place truly a special experience.
And the staff was INCREDIBLE! So hospitable and gracious. I would fly to Ecuador again to just visit this place for a few days. I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience at Hotel Spa Miramelindo.
