the installations and reception
just cosmetic, but I feel the showers need more lighting.

The resort is gorgeous and well kept and clean. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Best of all is the location which is close to everything that Baños has to offer.
If you are booking for a family and have only 1 or 2 small children book the matrimony suite as it's half the price and still has the two beds contrary to what is listed in the site.

The main problem with the hotel was the service which was really not good. The workers were sour and scared and the atmosphere was not good. The highlight was when we asked for recommendations on the attractions in the area and the answer from the reception was that we should go to the city and check there on attractions and activities. Contemptuous and annoying answer. You are a hotel located in a large activity center in the city of BNios and do not provide customers any service. Really a shame.

Marco (reception) was the best!. He gave us a very warm welcome and did everything possible to ensure we were relaxed including a free room upgrade and an offer to do our laundry after several days of traveling. He also provided excellent recommendations for things to do, hiking, thermal baths, etc. The property itself is magnificent. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful grounds and property. It feels so far away from home and exotic, particularly when taking in the clouds and soaring mountains after waking up in the morning. We received an experience generally on par with the price point, being greeted on arrival with a spray of hand sanitizer, welcome drinks, and a cozy fire going in the fire pit. Our luggage was carried to our room for us. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner. The space is as beautiful as the rest of the property but the menu and service were just ok. As others have complained, prices were high relative to the rest of Banos (i.e., by backpacker standards), but for anyone who can swing the room rate of that hotel, the meals were quite reasonable in the $15-$20 USD range. If you've got the energy, a taxi ride into town for more dining options is only $1 - $2. Our room had a wood burning fireplace in it, which was spectacular, and a call to the front desk was all it took to get it lit. The room was extremely unique, with real stone walls, and huge old timbers holding up the terra cotta roof. The history was palpable. Breakfasts are in the restaurant, and were very good, with decent coffee, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs to order. In all, a beautiful unique stay, worth the price.
We tried to call for room service during the dinner rush; they didn't pick up the phone and I had to go to the restaurant to get our order placed, and even after that, it took some time for them to bring it. Would like to see them improve the restaurant's menu offerings (maybe more Ecuadorian dishes?) and overall service.

Location. Staff was phenomenal at all times.
Breakfast was charming but really not enough.

The staff went above and beyond the expectations. Had a problem with my luggage which was solved immediately and fixed. The spa treatments And the staff that conducted the treatments were all fantastic. Any Questions we had were addressed. As I said again the staff at this facility went above and beyond and we’re fantastic.
There was animal cracker on the grounds which was never cleaned up. At breakfast time it would be good if the staff were a bit quicker getting our meals to us and refills of coffee or tea. Seem like they were understaffed.

We believed we were to have a cabin but we’re giving a room instead. We were told upon booking that we had a cabin reserved
4.7
The service, comfort, landscaping and the charm of the place.
Nothing really we did not like, but there could be more variety for the food in normal (non Covid) times.
