A great place to stay, highly recommend

I'm usually critical of at least something wherever I stay ,but not here. Room number 2 is a much larger room than the usual with a huge comfortable bed and pillows I wanted to take home with me. The bathroom was fine with lots of hot water for the deep bath. What really suprised me was the small kitchen, fully equipped and with a table and stools, where we could sit with our bottle of wine and watch the world go by. The housekeeper deserves a special mention,

What a lovely little town

Due to staff bereavement the pub was closed and there were no staff on site. However they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and complimentary prosecco in both rooms because of any inconvenience. Under the circumstances we had an excellent stay and would definitely return.

A perfect stay in lovely surroundings and felt important as a guest

The room and facilities were excellent. Lovely and comfortable and a huge bath with lots of hot water - Perfect! Very clean and the staff were attentive and very friendly.

Great value for money and extremely spacious and comfortable room.

Room was massive, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need. Staff very helpful.

Some road noise, no left luggage facilities.

Position very convenient for all the shop, restaurants and facilities in Holt.

Comfortable spacious room with large double bed. Also very spacious bathroom with lots of hot water.

Hard wood floor, would have been nice with a rug. Not good on bare feet. Also 3 steps to bathroom, dangerous in the dark.

Well located venue with excellent facilities and very good staff.

Our room had a small fully equipped kitchen attached. The bathroom was huge with a tiled floor which was underfloor heated.

The overbath shower would be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility.

Lovely B&B

As others have said, included is a lovely breakfast, good facilities (accurately described), nice bath and a cosy room. The pub was noisy but it couldn't be heard at all from the room. Overall, a really great place to spend a night or two.

Great place and even better staff!

Arrived really late as was travelling for work and the staff could not have been more helpful. Even though the kitchen would soon be finishing they happily seated my wife and I in a quiet table in the restaurant as they felt I might need some quiet as I had my laptop. Food was excellent the room was lovely and the staff’s attentiveness and service rivals any hotel with the highest star rating. Well done!

Great find, lovely spot

Great room with all facilities we needed, great location in the middle of lovely Holt

Car parking was a little way away from the pub, not a great issue as cheap rate for parking and not too far away

Fabulous overnight stay

We stayed in room 1 with view of the high street and it was incredible. It has been thoughtfully decorated with freestanding bath in large separate bathroom, a separate equipped kitchen with table and chairs and a lovely bedroom with large bed and period furniture. Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic and served in a local artisan cafe offering freshly made warm scones, fruit, nuts etc followed by a large choice of cooked breakfasts. We can't wait to return.

Absolutely nothing, and as we were staying overnight on a Saturday we found a parking space on the main street at 5.0 pm and therefore had free parking all day Sunday.

Very good

The rooms were really lovely. However, we had two rooms booked, one king size for my daughter and family, and one double for us. I felt that the smaller room should have been less expensive than the other one- but they were the same price. All the staff were super lovely.

The lack of parking was a real pain.

Excellent, will stay their again

Very good room, large, with kitchen and dining area. Comfy bed, excellent breakfast at Byfords included. Staff were very friendly and efficient. nice dinners in the Would definitely stay there again.

Only snag was the bathroom. the shower was over the bath and the bath had very high sides so made stepping into it a bit difficult. For safety it could have done with a handrail, although due to the layout this may be difficult. Not a deal breaker for us but something to consider

Exceptional

The room was absolutely lovely, very clean and spacious with all the facilities you could want. Staff were very efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely and breakfast at Byfords was also very good. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Thank you
