Wunderschöne Zimmer, teilweise mit Blick auf die Gracht, verteilt auf mehrere alte, renovierte Häuser

Wir wurden sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen, über alles Wesentliche informiert und zu unserem Zimmer begleitet. Das Miss Blanche Hotel liegt perfekt am Rande der Innenstadt. Die wunderschönen, individuell mit Antiquitäten eingerichteten Zimmer sind verteilt auf acht nah beieinander liegenden Häusern und haben teilweise sogar Blick auf die Gracht. Nur eins der Häuser hat einen Aufzug.

Das Frühstück wird als Büffet im Café Sigaar im Gebäude neben der Rezeption serviert. Das Angebot ist lecker, frisch und ausreichend, wenn auch nicht überbordend reichhaltig. Der Service ist freundlich, aber nicht der schnellste. Da wir aber im Urlaub waren, hat es uns nicht gestört.

Lovely apartment and helpful staff

Gorgeous apartment in the executive suite. Massive lounge and great location with views over the canal. Staff were extremely kind and helpful 10/10.

The parking is about a 4minute walk from the hotel across cobbled stones in places. We couldn’t drive out the front to drop our bags (of which we had lots due to a long trip) so we had to carry them all the way to the apartment. The staff were so helpful though and kindly helped me with this. All in all a very nice hotel.

Bad experience

Nothing really

Poor lighting in room. No aircon, only a single small fan in a corner. Place hot and stuffy. Steep steps up to unit, no elevator although elevator advertised. Noisy and no sound proofing. Earplugs provided!!! Seriously. This is not a four star hotel at all. Maybe a two star. Breakfast not great. Service just about non existent. Expensive for what was advertised. Booking.com need to review what is advertised compared to reality. Booked out a day early. No refund offered. No apology. Front desk run by university students. Out of their depth.

Een verblijf wat ons gelukkig maakt.

De locatie en de wonder mooie persoonlijke inrichting met kunst en meubels: niet zozeer een verblijf in een hotel, maar het gevoel dat ik in Groningen woon, al was het maar 1 nacht. Daarbij de enthousiaste en empathische ontvangst en bediening, zowel op terras als in wonder mooie ontbijtruimte.

Wij vinden de matrassen te zacht, maar dat heeft te maken met persoonlijke voorkeur.

Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt in einen sehr schönen Stadthotel.

Frühstück: sehr gute Qualität und ausreichend, Zimmer großzügig, sehr gute Lage zur Innenstadt, Blick auf den Kanal

Küchenausstattung: Toaster, große Tassen und scharfe Messer haben wir vermisst

Geweldig hotel op een top locatie!

Alles was voor aankomst al tot in de puntjes goed uitgelegd, ook wat betreft het parkeren en het inchecken. Eenmaal bij inchecken kregen wij een upgrade, met een nog onbekende reden. We waren over de top verrast! (Misschien mede daarom zo'n hoog cijfer) De junior suite die we uiteindelijk kregen was geweldig. Ruim, met mooi uitzicht en zeer verzorgd en schoon opgeleverd.

Er ontbrak ons aan helemaal niets, maar daar betaal je dan natuurlijk ook voor.

Wow! Goede service, top locatie, heerlijk ontbijt!

Prachtige kamer, heel vriendelijke behulpzame en meedenkende receptie (thanks voor de super upgrade ❤️). En echt heerlijk ontbijt bij de Sigaar dat naast het hotel zit. Het is dat ik er voor werk was, want het voelde als een mini-vakantie. Super dankbaar daarvoor!

Top locatie om Groningen verder te verkennen!

Fantastische locatie nabij het water. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, prachtige en schone kamer, heerlijke bedden. Kortom een aanrader!

Het ontbijt (dat geserveerd werd bij het nabijgelegen café de Sigaar) was vrij beperkt. Tevens stond er de hele ochtend maar 1 dame te werken waardoor de tafels nog vol stonden met gebruikt goed van andere gasten. Dit gaf een chaotische indruk.

Zentrale, sehr gute Unterkunft

Die sehr zentrale Lage, das sehr freundliche Personal und wir haben sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Wegbeschreibung vor Ankunft.

Aufgrund der zentralen Lage ist es nachts natürlich nicht völlig ruhig aber wir haben dann das Fenster geschlossen und haben dann bestens und ruhig geschlafen.

I liked my stay in the hotel and definitely will come again.

Great location, in the center, lots of cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. Great reception staff, free welcoming drink in the cafeteria next to the reception. Very helpful cleaning staff. Very comfortable bed. Great coffee in the room. I also appreciated the presence of the mini fridge in the room.

The room was dark, I would prefer to have better lighting. Not comfortable chairs. The heating in the room was not working and it could not be fixed while we were there, so we were cold all the time. One night there was a party on the hotel's hall most probably by one of the guests, so we could not sleep.

Although we had a very nice stay I thing the price just to high in compare with other locations.

Location perfect and a lot of space, breakfast is nice to Cafe de sigaar

however the bunkbeds should be placed somehow in an other way. the sewage drains should be checked in the bathroom and toilet...are clogged.

Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen Zimmer.

Die Lage war gut und das Zimmer sehr groß.

Wir hatten vorher um einen Aufzug gebeten und waren im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug. Das war nicht so ideal.

Wat een super comfortabele kamer; eigenlijk meer een appartement in hartje Groningen op loopafstand van alles

Zou helemaal fijn zijn als er in de parkeergarage een oplaadmogelijkheid voor de auto zou zijn geweest.

Once they get aircon running it will be six stars

The location is great and the hotel has bought several old buildings and reconverted them. The room's design was contemporary, artistic and homy at the same time.

None of the rooms have aircon, which is a bit of an inconvenient. My room in the end had good ventilation so heat was not a problem,

5star! Excellent hotel and top notch staff - so friendly, accommodating, helpful and smiley. Great room with fabulous bed, very clean. Perfect central location with car park. Will be back.

i loved it! nice and beautifully situated ☺️

I didn’t like the stairs (be prepared it’s a reality of Netherlands which might come as shock to foreigners 😀) and my room didn’t have bathtube which I was looking forward to, but everything else was absolutely lovely. I even had a balcony which was nice and secluded and very quiet. room was comfortable and equipped so you could prepare your own meal if wanted. The stuff was lovely and very helpful.

Great experience in the center of Groningen

The service, the location and the style of the hotel with different houses and rooms Is fascinating and has a proper dutch vibe. The hotel is situated really in the heart of the city center and you can walk everywhere within 15 mins. I would strongly recommend this hotel if you visit Groningen.

For our comfort the bed and pillows were too soft and in the night the streets are a little bit noisy so we had to use earplugs for the night. Water pressure in the shower could have been better but anyway acceptable.
