Location spacious room on top corner
The jacuzzi tub needs repair as the jets didn’t work
Internet was poor

Best thing about it was the location.
Room totally outdated. The whole property needs renovación. Didn't like the wrist band they ask you to wear.

Nice place

the ambience so unlike cookies-cutter hotel chains
no lobby bar
4.5
The location is very centralized and in walking distance to iconic buildings and plazas.
Although it is a very beautiful hotel, built in 1610, there could be some upgrades that could help beautify the main lobby. Furnature is old and dusty, chandeliers need maintenance, features in bedrooms could be upgraded for comfort.

I really like the location walking distance for shopping. Site seeing. very honest and kindness personal. Very clean. I just wish they turn on there lights to dark beside that it was a good experience .

An old dame of a hotel in the heart of old Guadalajara. Its a bit worn and some updating of rooms would be good but a very pleasant and unique hotel.
bed mattress was a bit saggy. bathroom a bit outdated

The charm of a building from 1610 cannot be overstated! and the rooftop had one of the best views in town. I loved everything about this quaint and charming hotel. oh, and they had valet parking included in the rate. In addition, the had hot and cold purified water. that was greatly appreciated!
I liked it all.

location/ history
2.5
The building itself was a beautiful building several hundred years old.
They checked us into a room that had clear/see through tiles in the ceiling. You could see about 15 dead cockroaches on those clear tiles as you looked up. It looked horrible. I went to the front desk and showed them pictures. They moved us to a suite, which was much nicer and even had a jacuzzi, at no additional charge. That was a very nice move on their part.
The internet connection in the rooms was horrible, we ended up having to go work in the lobby next to the very loud restaurant.

Location was excellent for our sightseeing and tour plans. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Bed was uncomfortable but okay for 3 nights.

It is on the center of the city
They don’t have coffee maker ,also not microwave and Minnie fridge , another detail is that they don’t have a safe box on the rooms.
0.5
very out dated. in the description it says the rooms have an iron a hair dryer an ironing board shower towels air conditioner etc. none of this is provided.
mostly how nothing that was offered on the advertising page was offered. rooms were nothing like the description.
3.5
It’s a beautiful hotel.
It’s old, although that’s part of the beauty, but it could use some updates.
