Location is perfect. Quality of the rooms are outstanding

The comfort of the room, free coffee and tea! ❤️

Staff was so so kind and the decor and room were very memorable! Loved the location too!
More pillows on the beds!

Uniquely designed rooms, modern contactless Check-in, communal space with coffee maker, great location
It is somewhat loud at night, but earplugs are provided and it's a great trade-off for being right in the center of the city
4.4
Hotel is in a great location, very quaint and comfortable. There are many bars and restaurants close by and the city is very vibrant
The hotel is in the centre of the old town with bars that are busy until 4am. Bring your ear plugs or party shoes.
4.4
Hotel location is excellent,
Our room is a very nice room.
Staff were very efficiant, friendly and very helpful.
The design of the bathroom sliding door doesnt close fully, Would be nice if it shut fully as it helps to soundproof toilet sound ;-)

The location was perfect. Easy to reach using public transport. Great area for going out at night. Easy access to tram for sight seeing. Great Staff.

It was very pretty an cosy, lovely to stay. Super good

I had only three full days in Bilbao, and was fascinated by the city and its history. Pension staff were extremely helpful in providing detailed information for exploring and enjoying Bilbao. The old town location was wonderful, and the room cosy and arty.
More coffee, for free or to purchase on site would have been good for me. I had a little trouble finding the pension initially - it appears to be on Calle del Torres, off of Calle Pelota, which is the address in the listing - but that was minor.

Great location. Lovely staff. Adorable room. Yea was such a nice plus.
Nothing. It was all wonderful.

The quirkiness of the accommodation very different reception were good it was spotlessly clean. It was a good Old Town location close to all restaurants and bars.
The bottle bank and waste bins on the street below my window constant clatter all times day and night thanks for the ear plugs.
4.4
The room was cozy and personnel very kind
The neighborhood is very noisy in the late evening and night. The common area where one can get coffee and tea goes off at 22h which makes impossible to get a drink in the evening

The rooms were very well thought out with themes. They looked like in the pictures and the beds were very comfortable. We really liked the aesthetic of this small hotel plus the lady who checked us in on the 4th of January at night was extremely helpful and friendly - was super proactive with a small issue we had with the bathroom and offered us help plus tried to accommodate us as best as she could. We really appreciate her lovely hospitality. The location is perfect, restaurants and bars all around; in the middle of the old town. I would visit this hotel again and can recommend it to other guests who don’t have light sleep.
They leave coffee pods in your room of different kinds. There’s shampoo and body wash, ear buds for noise and hair caps for the shower. There is a hair dryer and even a hair straightener which is such a thoughtful detail you can’t even find at the Waldorf.
To keep in mind is that the street has a lot of bars and restaurants so it can be noisy but they close around 23 during the week so it wasn’t too bad.
If you have mobility issues and can’t come up stairs, it’s good to know there is no elevator and the hotel is on the second floor.
The lady at the desk during the mornings (at least on the 5th and 6th of January) is not as friendly as the one who checked us in. My father who is 81 years old and was sick during our stay was made to feel uncomfortable by the hostess and cleaning lady who refused to clean the room unless he left it. The inconsideration definitely killed the vibe and all of the great we had found the place. We recommend that this lady gets some trainings in regards to hospitality and maybe works on her empathy. It’s unbelievable to obligate an elder to move while sick to barely clean the room since they didn’t even take the trash out.

good location in old city center , near many good restaurants
nothing

Perfect location, really nice design of the place (common areas as well as room), simple check-in/out, nice staff, clean, reasonable price... to me it was perfect
4.4
Room size and access to it on the second floor without a lift correspond to its pension rating. The rest could compare to a 4-star hotel with the bonus of fantastic design, wooden floors and exceptional service. And all this is right in the city's centre, almost touching the cathedral.
4.4
Oozes character and is truly unique. Very central. Possibly a bit noisy for some but we loved it.
4.4
Great location in the old town, excellent shower, complimentary water and coffee, friendly staff
Slightly odd layout in room (due to old building)
Noisy at night, however expected as in the centre of the old town
4.4
Quirky room with exposed brick and natural wood but at the same time modern and clean. We had a corner room so very light and airy but still quiet once windows were closed despite being above a busy street. Comfy bed, hairdryer and GHD hair straighteners provided. Receptionist very helpful, coffee available in common area. Location right in the centre of the old town. We had only just checked in when a group of local singers burst into song just below our balcony, apparently this happens fairly frequently but what a great start to our stay! Easy walk to Guggenheim and the food markets are worth a visit.
shower wasn't the most powerful but it's just a small niggle
4.4
Location. Size and interior of the room. Friendly staff. You can leave your bags after the checkout.
Extremely dirty. Bathroom stinks. Dust falls from the ventilation onto the toilet seat. Although the location is overall great, it’s very noisy either because of the night life or street cleaning and deliveries early in the morning (ear plugs are provided though).
4.4
We liked the location very much
The noise in the streets.
4.4
central location
needs soundproofing between rooms and also mentioning its in the lively, noisy bar district

We had a great stay at this boutique hotel. They communicated very well
With us when I had questions. The room was very comfortable for 3. We had a queen & twin size bed. The bathroom was large, but wished we had more counter space and a larger trash can. They did provide water & coffee every day. A hot iron was a surprise bonus. We did walk about a mile from the bus drop off. We appreciated the detail instructions.
It was noisy. The street is active with a few bars that are busy. They did provide ear plugs. No elevator.
4.4
Very convenient and central location in the Zazpi Kaleak area. The bathroom was large and the staff were very friendly. Good value for a weekend stay!
I would have felt safer at a hotel with longer reception hours - guests use a door code to access the building and it worried me that someone on the street could have seen the code I used and followed me in. The pillows on the beds were also a bit uncomfortable.
4.4
The room had lovely decor and overall this was a cute, quirky, and central accommodation that served well for a weekend stay.
It's lacking a lot of facilities, including the elevator: I don't see any mention that the accommodation is on the 2nd floor of a building, which was an issue cause I sprained my ankle during the trip. A fridge in the common area would be nice, I always had to go buy cold water downstairs cause there was no way to keep it cool at the accommodation. The bed was also not really comfortable, it was too hard and I struggled to sleep on it both nights I was there. Lastly, a little attention to detail would have granted a slightly higher rating, as there were several things I didn't like: the balcony in the room was pretty dirty, and some corners of the bathroom didn't look clean either + the sliding door didn't close properly, and the TV is really in the way, you can't walk by the bed without having to move your head out of the way or you'll hit it.
4.4
Location excellent. All facilities worked well.
It was very hot weather but the hotel offered no fridge for residents nor cold water. Themed decor of room plain silly! Door code sent by email but my phone ran out of battery- my fault!
4.4
Good central location
Extremely noisy at night. Sometimes until 4am. The hotel obviously know this as they provide earplugs! I'm surprised the reviews don't mention the noise at night. I would not recommend this hotel to a light sleeper.
4.4
Such an excellent location in the Casco Viejo! We had a great evening out enjoying pintxos and ended up just a short walk away from the hotel.
I love the idea behind the themed rooms, it’s lovely to stay in a place where you know you’re staying in the Basque Country, rather than just an anonymous hotel. The rooms themselves are really comfortable with nice bathrooms and a comfy bed.
I loved it, but please note that this hotel is in the heart of the bar and restaurant area and no matter what day of the week it is, it will be busy and lively until late.
4.4
Small rooms but great old town location centre of parties
Room needed some shelves or drawers

The hotel is in the middle of the old town. there are restaurants and bars. The hotel lays on a central point. The rooms are good and clean. The staf was kind and also speak English very well.
