We have been to Lalibela before and enjoyed our return visit
The staff were excellent, that great mix of friendly efficient and discreet. The game ranger Nell was really very good. She went the extra mile to fulfil our requests.
The hedges around our patio could have been cut to form a good view of the water hole.

Clearly a reserve that’s still a work in progress but good accommodation
Great staff and good quality overall experience. The welcome was unique and the initial drive to the lodge was fun. The pool by the watering hole was fantastic too. Mel was a great guide.
The wine menu was poor and you couldn’t get any sparkling by the glass. For the price, it would be good if not all meals were buffet style. The reserve is not as beautiful as others in the area as the terrain is generally much flatter and still feels like old farm land in many areas but there are some interesting sections when you get to the higher elevations.

Fabulous accommodation. Excellent food. Lovely staff. Amazing game drives
Our chalet was very spacious and comfortable. It had a veranda overlooking a watering hole. The all inclusive meals and drinks were all excellent. The camp staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The game drives were wonderful. Our ranger did a great job finding a wide range of animals including elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, buffalo and many more. He also kept us entertained and had a great sense of humour.
We loved every aspect of our stay

Amazing place, and worth the visit, especially to view the sunsets.
The staff and facilities were excellent, and the food superb, just too much!! The location is amazing, we were in the tree tops section and with deer running underneath you felt very close to nature.
The swimming pool is very small and gets full of flies, but i guess you don't book that sort of holiday for a swim, but it is a minor point. Whilst we got to see some of the top 5 there are only a small number on the reserve, i think only 7 lions in total.
