Very clean, modern, quiet units, with great facilities and state-of-the art private spa baths.

We stayed in a well appointed, super clean, modern self-contained 1 bedroom unit. Very quiet location, a few minutes walk to Lake Te Anau. Great facilities on-site, including state of the art private spa baths overlooking the lake!

Great spot for the family on the edge of the lake.

Complete facilities for a family and exceptional management prepared to assist with any request. The location was great being right in front of the lake and easy walking distance into town for food and shopping.

Nothing. Was all good except maybe the minor hassle of running around looking for coins for the laundry machines.

The worst accommodation I had in New Zealand

We arrived late to the accommodation and they sent me a message to tell me how to pick up my keys, until there everything was alright. I bought some food to cook when I arrive but I was surprised there wasn’t utensils to cook that I could hire them on reception but of course there wasn’t anybody, they couldn’t have let me know by message that if I wanted they could leave everything on my room and pay the next morning. When we arrived the door of our room was wide open, it was raining and freezing outside so of course the room was so cold and also was afraid that an animal could be inside.

Appartamento spazioso composto da due camere da letto (una privata e una open space) e dotato dei servizi essenziali, la struttura era pulita e ordinata. Ci sono diversi servizi a disposizione degli ospiti, tra cui la sauna e la hot tub (che va prenotata e pagata a parte), nonché un'area giochi per bambini al chiuso e all'aperto. Nel complesso, un buon motel in una zona piuttosto remota del Paese.

L'arredamento va bene ma il divano in pelle è datato e conciato un po' male, non rende l'ambiente accogliente. I letti sono un po' duri, soprattutto rispetto agli standard di tutti gli alberghi in cui siamo stati in Nuova Zelanda, dove i materassi sono molto morbidi. Le tende sono un po' troppo chiare per dormire, soprattutto perché quando un'auto si muove nel vialetto illumina parecchio anche l'intero della stanza, per cui suggerirei di aggiungere anche delle tende più scure.

1 night stay pre walking part of Kepler Track

Low cost. Our friends were nearby. Warm.

The oven in the kitchen was v poor. No utensils or things to use for dinner - only suits trampers/those with motorhomes. Saggy mattresses

Mixed reactions. I would choose a different place the next time I visit Te Anau

The location and the facilities. The staff were kind enough to offer us a free hot tub even though we didn’t pay for it.

It was not clean at all. Even the toilet floor is not mopped properly.

Quick stay and left embarrassed 🙈

Convenient location, great facilities, loved the wood fire pizza oven, a shame we were only there one night.

So much to like. Only constructive feedback I would give as there isn’t an option here is that all staff should adhere to the same advice/rules. We had a lovely receptionist tell use we were last to book spa so didn’t have to rush our exit. Told us it was fully private and for us to enjoy. So we did. Then the night manager came In exactly 1hr after and told us to get out. He did not announce his arrival and I was fully naked. Never been so embarrassed in all my life.

Overnight stay

We actually loved it. The only reason I gave 9 it’s because we had to have walk to the bathrooms. We were traveling couple but I would say that it’s great place to stay with kids as well. Room was very spacious and had everything that we needed for one night. Vibes reminded me a bit of accommodations in Poland at Masurian Lakes, so we really felt great over there!

Next to our room there was toilette however it was very often occupied by our neighbors. Extra toilette over there would be great!

Great location with good facilities.

Location was excellent, close to shops, bars and amenities. 20 minutes from Doubtful Sound Departure point at Manapouri. Spacious room with A/C. Good laundry equipment.

very large rooms and bathroom. best bed and bedding ever, even better than mine at home. beautiful modern cottage design. parking by the door. beautiful and convenient location.

Reception was superb. It was peak when we checked-in & the Malaysian receptionist was superb in handling everyone with patience & a smile. She was so helpful in recommending the dinner places & best way to visit Milford. Big kitchen & dining separated from the room was a great idea. Well done.

as there’s only shared bathroom so have to keep going out to use the toilet (a little troublesome especially when the weather is cold) kitchen is packed during peak hour but so far no big issue to cook our meal.

Well appointed, modern, clean cabin in a fantastic location

Very clean, modern, and well presented. Short walk to the lake and the town centre. Good hedges for privacy around most of the cabin.

Proximity to campervans, although it’s a holiday park so that’s to be expected. Small thing, but on Friday night there was live music, which was good, but it was so loud that it made it hard to converse or watch tv. maybe a little less volume would be better.

Great location in Te Anau!

Check in was seamless and they left a key for us at the front desk. We had only booked a lodge for 2 people, but the place actually had 2 full bedrooms so we had a ton of space! Great location in Te Anau!

Shower could have been a little cleaner.
