good location, good accomodation and a lot of nice people with a great jungle garden,

The garden is lovely around the house. The house is big and fresh on summertime. The room was nice and pleasant to sleep in. The common room (kitchen) is nice and well equiped with a nice attached balcony overlooked by a giand figue tree. The location is well connected to the rest of the city.

Nothing in particular except maybe we could sometimes hear the road which is nearby but usually its a very silence place

Great atmosphere. Most travelers between 25-35 years. :) Nice, clean kitchen, Garden with several tables and they have a summer pool set up!

We had a great experience with the Garden Hostel in Budapest. The owner was not only friendly and helpful but also provided us with valuable tips for exploring the area and shared fascinating historical facts. The location, slightly on the outskirts, is ideal for travelers with cars as free parking is available right in front of the building. Moreover, the proximity of the Bus/Train Station and Metro Station, within a 10-minute walk, made it convenient to reach the city center within 30 minutes. The facilities were satisfactory, and the well-equipped kitchen met all our needs. The reliable internet connection was a plus, and the spacious garden offered a great opportunity for enjoyable barbecues. Considering the reasonable price and the overall positive experience, we highly recommend the Garden Hostel in Budapest

It's okay but I don't recommend

The place was friendly...

Maintenance is just really poor! We stayed there for two nights and only one bathroom for 12 people. It was horrible. Not so clean. No towels given.

Decent… I’d stay again

The hostel is located in a residential area outside the centre so it’s nice and quiet at night for sleeping but still has easy access to the city centre with a bus at the end of the street and a metro station 15 minutes away by foot. There’s a lovely garden outside to socialize in and everyone at the hostel was friendly. They even have laundry facilities for a fee.

Make sure you write down the actual street address because there’s no sign outside. The daily cleaning was adequate but the whole place could use a good deep cleaning.

Great place with a beautiful garden and friendly staff. Big kitchen and bathroom, our room was nice and clean. It's well connected with public transport (bus and metro station are near) and city centre can be reached quickly. Free parking is available. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back again.

Suprised by the warm and open atmosphere at the hostel!

The location is wonderful with a big garden, a few bedrooms and a big kitchen with all necessities needed for cooking, eating, anything really. Owner speaks fluent English and is a really fun guy with lots of stories. Very good value for your money!!

The location is a bit far from the city center, but is well connected via public transport and is really close to Kelenfol train station

Staff was cool, atmosphere as well, I have met some pretty cool people in the garden, however it is not an accommodation suitable for everyone, you have to be a little open minded, and do not mind a little mess, as everyone feels truly free and it can look like a messy child room at first, but I enjoyed it :)

Beds were quite noisy, when someone moves it will probably wake u up, I recommend to have headphones or earplugs Bring your coffee and sugar :) I wish they would have a hair dryer :D

if you like hippie vibes I highly recommend it

service was quite friendly

The bathroom was incredibly dirty, there were spiders walking on the walls and 2 of the 3 toilets stank and I saw bugs running on the floor. Guests of the hotel liked to sit late in the kitchen talking loudly(during two of the three nights). The walls in the room were all gray(I think they used to be white), When we wanted to check out on the last day, the owner? disappeared somewhere and for 40 minutes we could not find him.
