Beautiful character. Great use of space. Perfect location.

Very elegant and charming apartment, close to the city centre. Peter was very helpful and hospitable, and explained the history of the house to us. There was also a dry, secure area to store our bicycles. We would love to come back again!
Parking was limited, though Peter was very helpful in explaining how to deal with the on-street parking by means of a time-limited permit and also about how to park longer-term nearby elsewhere.

The hotels location is fabulous. The Staff are very friendly and professional and happy to provide advice to us about events and things to do. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were great.

The apartment is spacious and is in a great central location in a historic building. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we appreciated that there were some English channels to watch. we had the corner apartment and it was light filled and had nice view of the street.
there was nothing we did not like about the apartment or our stay in Ypres.

Superb location, the staff are 1st class and the accommodation is lovely and well maintained.
If you take a car, be ready to move it around town, this is down to local regulations though, not the responsibility of the owner (they provide a parking pass).

Everything, Peter the host met us as our sat nav decided not to work when we arrived in Ypres!!! Apartment had everything and more we needed, even a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate's was left for us Our 11 year old grandson loved everything too. Fantastic staying in the oldest building in Ypres steeped in history, will def return again with the rest of the family as other apartments available. So central to the Menin Gate.
Nothing to dislike 👍

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

we loved the homely feel to the rooms and Peter is such a lovely host. Located on the local high street meant everything was in east walking distance. such a memorable stay.

Beautiful location, in the heart of Ypres. Staying in the oldest building of Ypres is thrilling (1772, rebuilt after WO II). The apartment with garden view is lovely, well equipped and suitable for a couple with 1 or 2 kids. Friendly hosts. Well equipped kitchenette to do self catering.
Three tiny issues only: parking is a bit tricky with parking card or a little further out for free parking; the stairs are narrow when carrying a big suitcase and are part of the original charm of the building; we missed our favorite tv channel on the digital decoder but hey, these are minor things.

This has to be one of the best places to stay in Ieper. It is incredibly central, very comfortable, stylishly decorated and with all the facilities one would need. Peter was incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed (and more!). I can't recommend this property highly enough.

The apartment was beautiful!! Roomy and magnificently appointed and furnished.
Nothing - maybe the narrow steep stairs weren’t the best, but not a problem! Unless you have mobility issues and/or very heavy or large luggage.

Peter met us at the property. He showed us around and answered questions. Two sets of keys made life easy. Told us about parking and where free parking was available. Left wine, chocs and milk along with maps and guides

We loved our stay! So convenient for Ypres and an interesting apartment historically as it was one of the few not bombed in WW1 - the owner even showed us amazing pictures.
The interior was great and we loved having a drink in the garden, too. Overall, the perfect visit! Thank you.
