Prima B&B voor een nachtje.

De gastvrouw was ontzettend vriendelijk. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en erg lekker.

We hadden de kamers iets sfeervoller verwacht dan dat het daadwerkelijk was.

Comfortable and convenient.

Well located near the city walls of the historic city of Ieper or Ypres. Set in a beautifully landscaped garden, there’s a safe space to store bikes and parking on the street for cars. You can take advantage of the sunny rooftop terrace. The Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable.

Superb

The hosts were very nice and friendly, they even cooked us eggs for breakfast. We were able to get some laundry washed (for a fee) while there which helped during our 18 day trip.

ir was a great place to stay. if the weather had been warmer the patio area would have been a treat.

It was quaint and close to the Menin gates.

A lovely little gem of a b and b

A lovely b and b, clean and well presented. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and made fresh. Beds comfortable with good quality sheets.

Excellent place from which to visit Ypres.

Magdalena is an excellent and thoughtful hostess.

Quirky

Ten minute walk to Menin gate and centre of town. A selection of items for breakfast, including the offer of bacon and eggs. Hosts spoke English A garden and roof terrace, though we didn’t use them due to inclement weather Decorated for Christmas

Parking. Needed blue badge (which b&b provided) to park on road for 2 hours between 9 and 6. Were told you could park in car park of nearby shops at other times though we didn’t as we were out and about in car during the day and managed to use blue badge at other times. Mascerator toilet- very noisy 1 large table in dining room and smaller one in kitchen area that you had to share with other guests at breakfast time. Breakfast- large jars of jam- no telling how long they’d been open- would be better decanted into smaller dishes or provide individual small pots - same with other things on offer- sadly not everything looked the freshest. Must be difficult to know how much to buy/provide though- we were only guests one morning. A few cobwebs/ marks on ceiling in our room Narrow winding staircase might be a problem for some guests

Great family stay in a perfect location.

Perfect location within walking distance of the city centre but without too much traffic noise. We stayed in the family room which was comfortable for our family of 4. The breakfast was superb and we enjoyed chatting to Magda and the other guests. The garden is also beautifully maintained.

Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice & all freshly made the fact we could lock our motorbike in there garage

Maybe need a double mattress not two singles on a double base but it was comfortable to sleep on

Magda (the owner) was amazing. Kind, helpful and cooked great bacon and eggs for breakfast. The house was beautiful and our room was perfect for my young family. Well-equipped kitchen and clean and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was a feast, with large selection of fresh fruit. We all loved our stay and would love to return. Thank you Magda.

Just great!

Lovely place, the host was very friendly. Close to center/4 minutes walk. The terrace and garden are super. Parking is free when you park 10 meters away in the shopping area(beware fence/gate closes at 18.00 and opens at 09.00 again) but free and save. We enjoyed the terrace for a drink. Breakfast is very good. All and all, it's real nice.

The whole trip went very well. Near to the city centre for food. Good parking around the B & B. Good breakfast plenty to eat. Lovely to be able to eat outside in the morning. Nice garden well maintained.

Steep and curved staircase to first floor not good for everyone.

Excellent location- easy short walk to all main attractions. Spacious room and lovely outside terrace landing, overlooking pleasant garden. Outstanding breakfast, with wide variety on offer. Had arrived with some concerns re parking car but these were fully overcome with help of very friendly host.

The host was kind and attentive. Beddings are comfortable.

The spiral steps outside are too narrow and dangerous. This should be stated clearly that the entrance is a narrow spiral staircase. The shower also didn't drain. I think the place needs propert maintenance.

the room was comfortable and equipped with kettle and fridge. The location is perfect and the host is wonderful and friendly. The breakfast is plentiful and the bacon and eggs are unique. There were 3 of us on motorcycles and the garage parking is a bonus.

Perfect location, just a little way from the hustle & bustle of the centre but within a stones throw of the ramparts. The facilities were excellent and the availability of secure and safe parking for my motorbike was a real bonus. The room was larger than expected and, whilst within the garden area of Ter Vesten, remained secluded but only steps away from the main (beautiful) dwelling. Breakfast was a feast. Bacon & eggs on offer and a whole host of fruits, cold meats, cereals, fresh bread, fruit and drinks.
