My wife and I. and 2 friends stayed 13 nights. Rita and Joseph were superb. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds. Very enjoyable stay.
Location is about a 25 minute walk to the Duomo, 30 minutes to the train station. If it was a 15 minute walk it would be perfect.

Beautiful room - so unique. Family run and very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Parking is fairly close by but not at building. Close to restaurants.
Small elevator to get to hotel but fine. A little bit of walk to main areas of Florence but still easy to walk everywhere.

Location good. Only 10 minutes from Duomo by foot. The staff friendly and nice. Clean room. Parking nearby
Difficult to find. The hotel is located in the 2nd floor with small elevator. Breakfast poor and basic. Very noisy during the night from above floors. The bed was not so confortable.

This is FANTASTIC accommodation that kept the original fresco at ceiling which was amazing. The owner was very kind and very helpful, breakfast was very good. The location is at a very silent place and also very close to the center with a few minutes of walking through very nice historical street passing Accademia Gallery nearby. The room is very large with very comfortable beds. It is finely decorated and very clean. Especially the roof is high with amazing painting that makes very nice feeling. Sleeping in such a dreamy and silent ambiance was really unforgettable, we are desiring to come back to stay here again. While this is Firenze, every accommodation would imitate this place to keep its historical ambiance especially the fresco, the ceiling painting.
Nothing to say. It is an fantastic and amazing palace. I have nothing to complain.

Felt like a marquis sleeping under that opulent ceiling, very tasteful décor. Friendly staff, decent minibar with cold drinks, comfy large bed and a proper sized shower. Very satisfied indeed.

Loved the room and cleanliness. Nice paintings. Hotel surrounding are also nice. It is within an old building but loved the interiors. Especially the old lift. Although it's quite small to fit in 3 ppl with luggage.
Breakfast option could have been better. Doesn't have 24/7 reception for any help, but you need to call them to get some help.
Could also keep electric kettle with some cups in the room.

This is a small, very friendly family hotel with beautiful 19th century paintings on the ceilings. It is spotlessly clean and located on a quiet road about 15-20 minutes' walk from the centre. (You can see the Duomo at the end of this road, so it's very easy to orientate yourself.)

Beautiful old building with amazing hand painted ceilings.
The staff is super friendly, it feels like coming home to family.
Breakfast is simple, but every day a joy.
Not directly in the center, but close enough to be the in ten minutes walking. Duomo is about one kilometer.
Just a few rooms, so more personal.

All aspects of my stay were wonderful. Hotel owners were welcoming and very helpful. Very Very clean and well kept. Beautiful place. Perfect for an active Firenze visit. Location is great for access to the city center. 7 minute walk to the statue of David, another 4 minutes to the Duomo, then 5 minutes to the Uffizi and Pointe Vecchio. I would say, walking, Hotel to the Arno is about 15 minutes. We did not take a single taxi (except to the airport). Just perfect for an active visit.

Nice boutique hotel, a beautiful and spacious superior room, and decent location.
Hotel is rather difficult to spot, no visible indicator of it, and freezingly cold room.

Nothing. MAYBE location but that was very minor.

The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a massive building, it doesn't have a huge sign outside so you might miss it at first like we did. It's situated at the boundary between the old town and the new town, if you walk down the hotel street for about 10minutes you'll end up right at Santa Maria.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, he accommodated our requests very nicely (early check-in, bathtub, double bed...). We had a great time.
The whole hotel is spotless, our room was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust in sight, not a water mark in the bathroom, I was wearing white socks in the room and they remained white which is a pretty rare thing.
The ceilings are superb, our room was huge and very comfortable you could have fitted a very nice one bedroom apartment in it. Mattress was firm in a very comfortable way. The bathroom was very nice and convenient.
The room and hotel are very quiet, we could barely hear what was happening outside the room despite being right next to the entrance and breakfast room. You can hear a little of the loud noises coming from the street but it's pretty quiet in the evening, night and morning. We only heard a couple of motorbikes zooming past very loudly other than that everything else was blocked out.
The key card opens the doors of the outside, main hall and of your room which is very practical.
Breakfast was good, they offer a small buffet of sweet and savory options (croissant, fresh fruits, yogurt, bread, ham and cheese, fresh oj...).
The public parking lot is a few minutes away, 15€ per 24h, which is a little expensive when you see how poorly maintained it is, but our car was kept safe there.
The water is not cold in the shower or tap.
It's at best lukewarm which makes it unpleasant to drink when you're thirsty in the middle of the night or when you want to take a fresh shower to alleviate the summer heat.
The pillows should be changed for feather or foam ones. They are a little lumpy and not very very comfortable.

Amazing rooms! It is the first time when the pictures from Booking doesn’t reflect the reality, but in the good way. The rooms are much bigger and beautiful, than in the pictures. Everything is very clean.
The hosts are very nice. 10 min to walk to the city center. The conditions are 5 stars. I consider it a hidden gem for Firenze hotels and if I will ever return to Firenze, it will be my choice again, for sure.
Nothing.
