Excellent location, clean and comfy room. Friendly staff.
The bathroom had some small holes on walls, I don’t understand why. That was so weird. It made me feel uncomfortable I had to cover them.

I felt that the cleaning was only “surface cleaning” when we walked in, the room looked clean and inviting but the shower had mold and there was toothpaste and other stain on the bathroom sink.

Good breakfast, but didn't have coffee or breakfast ready when they originally told us. Our room was right on the street, but they had stutters that kept noise out. Great location for sight seeing in Morelia.
Staff could be friendlier.

What not to like....rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was courteous and very attentive. Highly recommend Casa Jose Maria to anyone traveling to Morelia.

This was the second trip taken to Morelia, and I booked this hotel because we loved it in 2020. The staff was superb, we felt at home, the rooms ample in size, very comfortable beds, gracious and very helpful staff. WE will be back next year.

I did not eat here.
All went VERY well.

owners (family) were friendly and tried to help.
very little English spoken.
rooms are off a central courtyard which is covered. There was very little natural light so rooms were very dark and gloomy - lights always needed. No way of knowing if it was sunny or cloudy outside. Also, only way to get airflow is to open the window onto the courtyard and then this was very noisy with staff and guests talking and the sound reverberating within the courtyard.

The beds
The cleanest is not so detailed as I thought

it was nice and the lobby was filled with plants. the room was very spacious
the pillows were not comfortable. The bathroom is cramped, a bit moldy and the door was sticking,so it was loud to close and woke the other people up

Was a little small the room
Because the bathroom and shower in the room was not clean like was showed in the picture

Location, the rooms, the price is super cheap for the place, it's only two blocks away from the Jardín de las Rosas. Super quiet and peaceful even though is right in the centre. The parking con be a bit tricky but is not difficult to find
Everything was great.

Good location, clean.
Because the structure ,light always enter the room ,impossible to be dark during the day time, not a good thing to take a nap in the middle of a hot day, staff not friendly, you can find a way better place for cheaper in the same area I will not come back to this hotel.

It’s small and comfortable and in a good location. Good wifi, lots of pillows, nice staff, and we feel very secure there. It was our 3rd time at this hotel. A great value in the city of Morelia.
unfortunately there was very loud music happening nearby (a rave?) which is not the hotel’s fault of course. If you stay in the back e.g. the room called Alondra, it’s pretty quiet.

Comfortable king bed, quiet, clean, good breakfast, locked secure parking nearby, great value. Will use again for overnight stays when coming to Morelia for evening cultural events.
Nothing to dislike. For our needs, it was perfect.
