Excelent breakfast

The camp itself is very nice & interesting, it's like a little oasis not far from the city (but seemes like it's very far from it). There's a lot of shade & very good climate because of it so you can enjoy & relax away from the sun, just a few meters from the sea. The staff is very nice & they will help you as much as they can. The beach bar is a wonderful place to be & they have simple but very tasty & affordable food as well, so you don't need to worry about it. The toilets & showers are being cleaned many times a day, so for this the location gets the highest stars! In so many places it is not like this - so I'm very happy, it was great. If you like to be in nature & enjoy being barefoot on the sand all day under the "palm" trees, by the sea... Then this can be a perfect location to visit. Give it a chance.
If you wish for something more quiet & comfortable to rest & relax, then this might not be a great location. There's musik all evenings & then night partys during the weekend. But if you like to enjoy & party it will be great. Also the beds are small & short, so if you're a taller person this will be a challenge.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was spot clean in my bungalow and also in all public areas. Cheap prices in the bar/restaurant which had very tasty food. Located on the beach and close to the ferry going to Dar. Thanks for a great stay🙏😘 Emanuel, Jeff, Deflour?, Saloumi and yes All staff were great but I don’t remember their names.
Only negative is that the here is a lot of trash on the beach! They cleaned up the place in front of Mikadu Hostel but it gives you a bad impression when doing beach walks.

there was no special point

The outdoor facilities are perfect, lovely pool, convenient location to catch transport to Dar, great included breakfast and kind staff. We ended up booking 2 additional nights.
The bungalows are very basic and not much more than a place to sleep. We only got one towel for two people. It could definitely be cleaner as well. So all in all very basic accommodation.
The shared toilets and showers could be more frequently cleaned as well.
We forgot our torch in our room when we checked out, but despite us realising very soon after - no one could find it…

The location is right on the beach.
Lots of young foreign travelers guessing it's people that are looking for adventure affordably in the summer if you're a solo traveller or looking to make friends.
I'll try to be as objective as possible. When I booked I thought I was getting the container cabins only to be shown to a room without a toilet and bathroom 😔 but seeing as it's something the property knows whoever showed us to our rooms also had an alternative readily available. A wooden cabin with a toilet and bathroom for a little over double the cost. If you're backpacking and not too concerned about what everything looks like that's fine but we didn't get what we expected and only stayed because it was one night and we arrived quite late. I had a misunderstanding with the assistant manager about payment and instead of resolving he walked away, another young man helped. I don't want to remember what that toilet and bathroom looked like 🤢 I didn't shower I could not bring myself to. My friend tried and the tap only had two weak streams plus someone had left a used bar of soap, at least the toilet was clean and the bed was big, I had to ignore a cockroach 😭. If you're looking for something more premium this is not the place.

The place is great . Stuff helpful and food is nice
If you go weekends be aware of the late music coming from the club next door .

Some staff gave good service. The room and toilets were clean. It is right on the beach.
The sunlougers and sun chairs cushions were either missing or badly ripped, making them very uncomfortable. Some of the bar staff were rude and unattentive. The pool needs a good clean.

Beach site
Outlet standby toilet and bathroom near to kitchen was too dirty

Really friendly staff
Food is good
Very noisy bar/nightclub next door that runs until ~4am
Local mosques are noisy at around 5am
Very busy during the day as locals can buy day entry to use the facilities
Toilets and showers are a long way from the rooms
Rooms are run down and shabby with no storage space
Looks amazing in the photos but the rooms you stay in are actually not photographed (they have chosen pictures of one of the more expensive rooms). Everything looks new in the photos but it is actually quite run down.

The food was super delicious
Music noise that coming from outside the camp

The beach was right there which was perfect and the breakfast was lovely, i enjoyed the stay although got food poising from the chicken i believe but other than that it was a great atmosphere. the next-door area was abit loud at times and we wish the beach wasn't crowded all the time but it was nice.
the dinner i think gave me food poisoning (chicken)

I liked everything,the location,theraupitic ocean view,food was great,lovely staffs,value for money is a 10/10.
The mattress on my room(7) was a bit firm/hard,not a bad thing but middle comfy would have been better.

It was very well situated on the beach, and had a very beautiful outside bathroom, where you shower under the open sky. The bungalows were very small, but situated right on the beach. The staff were very nice as well.
Our room was right next to the next-door bar, where they were playing extremely loud music all night, and on Saturday until the early morning. This was a little bit tough since we had to get up very early every day when we were in Dar Es Salaam. Also, you have to go by ferry in order to reach downtown Dar, which would have been nice to know beforehand. The ferry takes about 5 minutes, but the wait before the ferry, and the big commotion once you get off, makes the trip a bit longer.

The staff were pleasant.
The fact that I paid US $168 for a 3 night stay in a dirty rundown bungalow with cold water only. The warm showers were available for budget accommodation (hard to get my head around). i opted to try a warm shower at the open-air shared facility. The open-air showers had the stench of urine wafting across from the adjacent toilets. When I raised the issue of my accommodation and possibly a partial refund with the manager, he offered me $30 in cash, really. He asked that I did not raise these issues with booking.com and not to review the property badly on the internet. He thought the $30 would buy my silence. He was the worst manager. I have had the displeasure of meeting, and he could only blame his staff for all the issues I raised. The beach was discussing, having to step over mounds of seaweed and litter to go for a swim, not to mention the sand flees around the camp itself. I checked out a day early, as did another couple, claiming that their were bedbugs in their room. Another guest had issues with the restaurant, and she raised this with the manager, who decided to leave via the back door instead of discussing the matter with her. Avoid this place.
