Good location, dirty hotel

It was in a great location, a few minutes from the Temple of Tooth and all the restaurants and the lake. The staff were great and moved our room promptly.

When we arrived to our room, there were ants all over the curtain. I then found these everywhere in the bed. There was a rat in the vent of the A/C and the towels were dirty and had not been washed. Staff moved our room which was without bugs, however you could hear everything on the street very loudly from the room which made it difficult to sleep. I wouldn't recommend - for the price you can stay somewhere much better - this was the only hotel we had this issue with in Sri Lanka.

pleasant atmosphere and hospitality

Very welcoming atmosphere with great care of all staff. We even got help with organizing another day trip just evening before, so many thanks especially to Dushan for his time. we appreciate the calm atmosphere of the hotel, so our stay in Kandy was very pleasant. Looking forward to another visit.

location was convenient howeve room was not at a good standard. had our room changed and it was small bit better.

dirty, smelly, mouldy in room. ac not working. tv not working. fridge not working. bed sheets and towels with rips.

Pleasant

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, excellent shower.

The hotel could use some maintenance and some soundproof windows--the location right in the center is great, but it also means that you have a very busy street right under the window and it hardly ever gets really quiet there. The food at the restaurant was not bad, but the options and the quality were not as good as at the other places I went to--think of it more as a sports bar than a restaurant.

Helpful staff but not as pictured

The location is amazing. it is right in the centre which is what we wanted so we could walk around. we walked up to the lake in less than 5 minutes. the staff were very helpful as well.

it needs a massive deep cleaning, we couldn’t find any bar as pictured, don’t know where that is we couldn’t find it! carpets need replacing! couldn’t find a restaurant either.

Everything was great . Great room ,huge bathroom. Clean and cossy.

no mosquito net and old curtain with holes is a minus. But slept well so everything was fine

I'm thankful to Dulanjali for her cooperation and advice's to have nice stay .

Location is amazing , every thing you need nearby you no need for transportation only few steps to get what you want , the room is very quiet and comfortable with cool decoration also has a big window to be very sunny at day time , check in and out within minutes , bath room is very comfortable .

WIFI a little pit poor .

Nice hotel close bus & train station

Decent hotel in reasonable price in the heart of Kandy. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was huge- impossible for one person. The restaurant is ok for dinner. Room was clean, A/C works ok. Nothing special but for a couple of days it is fine.
