I booked a single room at a rate considerably less than other establishments so didn't expect too much, but just needed a bed for a couple of nights. However, although the room was relatively small, it had a very comfortable double bed, table and chair and more than adequate supplies of tea/milk/sugar for the duration of my stay. The ensuite shower room was spacious and well equipped. All in all, great value for money.
Couldn't get all the Freeview channels on the TV but least was able to watch Euro 2024 matches. On the Friday night there was a large and noisy wedding reception in the bar area although the hotel website does warn that this could occur. To be fair the festivities ceased promptly at 11.00pm and I was then able to get a good nights sleep.

Bathroom was clean & Tidy
Room was to hot , fan didn’t function, couldn’t open one window , dust on skirting , carpet edge, and loads underneath the bed

The location was perfect what we needed
Firstly we wasn’t pre warned there was a private function on and was unable to use the bar. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was the worst bed I had ever slept on, could hardly sleep as I could feel every spring in the mattress. Had such a bad back on Saturday and Sunday morning. There was a layer of dust on most surfaces and the bed side cabinets where falling apart and filthy also the wardrobe was leaning and ready to collapse. Still had makeup smears up the side of it. Also Black mould round the window reveals also on the seal of the window.
This is possibly the worst room I’ve booked through your site. Never ever again.
No staff on site during the day or when we left.
3.5
The room was a decent size, comfortable bed and, in my opinion, good value. Friendly and helpful staff and free parking. I would definitely use again when I am next in need of a hotel in that area
Seems a little more basic than, for example, a Premier Inn, with no desk and just a generally slightly more basic feel but it was fine and good value
3.5
Easy check-in, friendly staff, good tapas restaurant on site.
No thrills, hotel was for a one night stop over. To be expected really.

Comfy, good shower.
Bedside lights, but no plug socket, so cannot use them.

The location was perfect for what we had to do.
When we arrived at 2.45pm, on a cold afternoon we could not enter the building as the doors were locked. When I rang the hotel we were told we would not be let in until 3 as they were checking the rooms. The hotel has a bar, a reception area so we could not understand why we could not enter.
4.0
Very good value and clean and comfortable . The road outside was rather noisy until later at night.
The hotel was advertised as having a restaurant which it didn't so that was a bit annoying. There is only an Indian restaurant in the town and a few takeaways otherwise.

I was unable to check in after 9.30pm so even though I rang several times begore to arrange a late checkin this was not available. Eventually I was unable to stay so had to drive to Birmingham without staying and lost the money for the three rooms.

Great location -owner/manager very pleasant and helpful re my onward journey ghankyou

good communication for self check in.
two flights of narrow steep stairs.

Big car park
The hotel is card only. No trust is given by the hotel and staff to the guests. Not only did I have to pay in advance which is fairly standard and not a problem but the hotel insists I leave bank details including card number, expiry date and security code with reception before a key is realeased. This is in case I damage anything in the room. Apparently my card details automatically fall off the computer 48hours after I have left the premises. This gives anyone connected with the he hotel potentially 2 days to fleece your account. Broken mirror in the bath room which had the opportunity for the hotel to make an easy £50 out of me after I left if I hadn't reported it straight away.

We have stayed here before. Rooms have everything and the price is affordable as we were looking for three rooms for the three of us. Two rooms were upgraded at the owners discretion which we really appreciated.

Staff were very welcoming and happy
Early bar close

Friendly welcome. Location.
We up graded our room to get a larger bed with intentions of being more comfortable. The bed was so lumpy with springs poking into every part of my body. I didn't sleep.🙁 also the hall lights were bright and came into our room so that also didnt help with the sleep. Im afraid i want be coming back.

The ensuite is fabulous. The room was nice but the lighting is so bright even with just one light on over the bed major spotlights. Lots of marks on the walls near the sides of the bed. Did have a good time.

Clean warm and comfy,friendly staff
Had to go outside to access my room.
4.0
Very clean. Comfortable bed. Good location.
Lack of power points. Lack of ventilation, only a small window. Had a fan but due to no power points by bed, fan was too far away to feel the benefit.
4.0
The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very good especially the corner bath with tall taps. The bar[/lounge was also very nice, super sized tables suitable for parties and classy looking bar. All the hotel was very clean. And the staff very nice. Large tv's on the wall's of the bedroom and bar areas. Hotel in a good location for pub across the road. And lovely Indian restaurant in walking distance which we recommend.
The reception wasn't open 24hrs meaning the front door wasn't open which meant to gain entry or exit you had steps in the hotel which of course is unsuitable for the disabled.
And the website for the hotel states they serve e Tapas, but they don't which of course is misleading.
Also a breakfast would have been nice.

The room was very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly.
No breakfast

Very spacious room. Ensuite was large.
A number of cobwebs. The room was on the road side so not quiet. The worst thing was people coming in and out between 3 and 4 in the morning and slamming shut the access door.

It was very clean , very welcoming
The stairs are very steep ,we did'nt find it a problem but others might There is a lift and if you have mobility issues make clear when booking ,otherwise full steam ahead
5.0
Excellent staff, very polite nothing was too much trouble & even when I needed help with my phone trying to get photos updated.
Nothing excellent value for money. Noisy boy racers outside going along the road were a pain but are not the staff's concern, & only the police can do something about it. Overall would strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay.
3.5
The room was extremely hot I struggled to sleep. Also there was a lot of dust behind the bed room door like I mean a lot I could write in it
