Such a beautiful and comfortable oasis run by a lovely family. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous place.
if you are doing the Camino Frances this is not a good location. Address states Palas de Rei, but in reality is in Merlan. 2 more hrs walking if doing the Camino or pay for Taxi. The owners were kind enough to pick us up for a $12 fee and they picked and dropped our luggage. Very kind. Food and drinks were expensive, we brought our own bread and jamon iberico along with wine.

We went a bit 'upmarket' on the Camino Primitivo by staying here but it was well worth it. The room was great and both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Right on the Camino Primativo. This was our favorite stay on the trail! Absolutely gorgeous historic spot run by an attentive couple who made us feel like royalty in this luxurious setting despite us being dusty and smelling of the trail! This was the highlight of the entire trip!

It's a beautiful place, very relaxing, lovely food, beautifully presented, a very high standard of furnishings, the owners were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them

The owners were awesome, the location was stupendous.
The washer and dryer took a looong time. Not a big deal really, their machines are old and they plan to replace.

Everything. It was in a good location to break up this stage of the Camino for me, first of all, but the house and grounds were truly lovely. Magdalena and Tilo were exceptional hosts and made me very welcome and comfortable. The food was excellent. My room was perfect- great views and a very comfortable bed.
Nothing.

Casa Camino Turismo Rural was an unexpected oasis in a small hamlet along the Camino Primitivo. Very modern, yet rustic facilities with cozy common areas and a beautiful outdoor lounge area. The hosts are English and take great pride in creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and dinner was absolutely amazing...the red pepper appetizer was so creative and delicious. Backpack transport to the next town we were hiking to was also available and recommended due to the unseasonable heat. We could not have been happier with our stay and we highly recommend this lodging to pilgrims and vacationers alike.
No services (grocery, pharmacy, etc) in this area

This place was outstanding in every way. A Spanish house lovingly restored with an eye for design, comfort and style. We wholeheartedly recommend it as a base for either walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela or simply finding out more about Galicia guided by hosts Sue and Kim
Everything was superb

This is a beautiful property in a remodeled home. Some parts of the home are 800 years old and some 400-600 years old. The rooms are large, shower is wonderful and all is clean. Sue, your host and owner is from the UK. You will need to eat on property and the food is excellent!! All good ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The property is about 12 kilometers from the Camino Frances do you need to take a taxi. But it is worth the trip and mix it up a bit.

What a beautiful gem and such amazing hosts!! This was our favorite place by far on the Camino. Susan and Kim were such gracious hosts and the property is exquisite. Their front door is on the Primitivo Camino trail and leads right back to the Frances. Beautful setting, amazing architectural details, cozy comforters, delicious food and cocktails....such a treat after a long day on the Camino. If you want to be spoiled for a day....stay here!! And to top if off....Susan will even wash your clothes in lavender scented soap. What can I say!! Thank you both!
