Big, clean, luxurious chalets with beautiful surroundings. Great restaurant with some delicious cocktails and good breakfast. Close to the sanctuary and friendly staff.

A great “jungle” atmosphere with outdoor eating overlooking a lagoon.
Food and bar services closed too early in the evening.

Room was very nice, well appointed with efficient air conditioning. Landscaping for most of the property was well done. Very close to see the Orangutans and sun bears
Very poor customer service. We told the receptionist that the water in the shower was only a trickle and went cold very quickly but he wasn’t interested. Service in restaurant was terrible - pizzas were off the menu until we asked the manager why, then they were suddenly back on again (clearly the kitchen couldn’t be bothered). After we ordered pizza they forgot the order and gave us the original food. Everything got cold while they redid it. When we complained the manager told us to speak to booking.com which is obviously ridiculous as nothing to do with them. TV not working in room, lightbulbs missing along walkways so very hard to find our room in the dark. Half the site is a building site at the moment with several tractors so don’t expect to see any wildlife with the noise from the builders, see photo. The whole place needs some serious customer care training, it just felt like they didn’t care. We are not big complainers, but I would avoid this place as it’s just not good value for money.

We loved the fact that it is located in such a gorgeous natural setting. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails are to die for!

The whole premise was very well maintained, the Chalet was of a good size and we especially loved the bathtub

Beautiful serene cottages in the jungle. Short walk to the orangutans and sun bears-I was disappointed with sun bears-but it’s a short walk and visit. Staff were lovely and helpful. The restaurant did not open when scheduled-my only complaint.
We stayed 3 nights to recover from jet lag from US. The 3rd night an orangutan came onto the property-we missed it because we went to the floating village for a seafood dinner.
The rooms were huge. Ours had a beautiful view of a small river. Vegetation was beautiful.

Nice rooms with hammocks, good location right next to the orangutan rehabilitation centre , nice setting, we did have a problem with a loose toilet seat in our room which they did look at straight away and offered us a new room when they couldn’t fix it.
The wifi didn’t reach our room, there are no meals included and I feel it’s a bit over priced for what you are getting

In a secluded and beautiful area - so quiet at night! Cabin is spacious with high vaulted wooden ceiling. Simple decor with wooden craved art of orangutans. Bed is comfortable, A/C works well and is quiet, shower has hot water. Many places to sit in dining area to eat, enjoy the lake and nature and to chat, read and relax. Charging outlets on each side of bed as well as lamps. Hammock on outside porch to use. Towels are large, soft and absorbent. The kitchen staff helped us refill our water bottle whenever we asked. Staff was easily available and able to answer our questions. There is an on-site restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks/fruit juices available. 5 minute walk to orangutan rehabilitation center and sun bear sanctuary. Easy to book night walking tours at Rainforest Discovery Center (5 RM per person each way for car transportation and 15RM per person to go on the walk).
Water pressure in shower is too soft. Restaurant is closed between 2 -6 - no access to drinks or food. Some of the food choices were not to our liking. Sometimes the restaurant was out of an ingredient or a food choice.

Dinner was delicious and the staff were very helpful. The front desk even stayed open longer to help us check in late - very much appreciated!

Location and setting was fabulous. A 5 minute walk from the Sun Bear and Orangutang centres.
Fairly relaxed.
Lovely spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Wifi only in reception area/bar.
Lights on walkway to rooms were not on after dark so you needed your phone/torch to see where you were going.
Pillows were too 'fat'.

The place is like a paradise. The jungle around, the lake in the middle, the chalets. I strongly recommend this place

TV didn't work.

The park was great, facilities was exceptional
Nothing, it was all good. Perhaps more short videos on the orangutans especially about the babies

Amazing location. Lovely private cabin. We stayed in 23 which had most privacy and closest to jungle - we were lucky enough to see an orangutan in the tree behind our cabin
Some bugs in room but expected given location. WiFi only available in reception area but didn't bother us as we were there to wind down.

Short walking distance to the Orangutan and sun bear sanctuary. The restaurant lounge area had comfortable seats, fans, and a relaxing view of the lake. The restaurant served good food. The walkway around the lake was also enjoyable. The second room we were assigned to was wonderful. The staff was very nice, the hotel reminded me of Disney land.
The first room we stayed in had an extremely noisy air conditioner, the TV remote did not work and the refrigerator had to be unplugged because it shook the entire bungalow. Even plugged in the refrigerator remained hot. We booked an additional night and were upgraded to a room with a bathroom at an excellent location within the property. It was quiet and private. The second room had a bathtub. I would stay in the second room again.
Booking.com site indicates a set price for meals which is not accurate. You may purchase ala carte.
