Hermoso y cómodo dar en centro de la Medina

Muy cómoda la habitación en 1er piso, la atención del personal , la terraza con maravillosa vista. Y al retirarnos nos acompañaron a tomar el taxi

Difficult access for disabled

This is a difficult review for me to make. The location right inside the medina is great, 5 minute walk to the big square, great for the coffee shops and restaurants. Surrounded by endless traditional narrow lanes of colourful shops selling traditional Moroccan Goods, we loved wandering around during the day, very friendly people who did not jump out at you trying to drag you into their shop, they allow you to take a look and relax, and they will still barter easily on price. The staff are pleasant and try to help if they can. It’s a very small Riad in comparison to ones we have stayed in before. Bear in mind that Chefchaouen is a no alcohol town, and you can only buy cigarettes from one shop, if you smoke, then bring them with you. If not, when you ask where to buy them, they won’t tell you, instead they will offer to go with you and that will cost you! Anyone that helps you here will expect payment, and they are quite forceful about it, not scary but in your face.

As my husband is disabled and struggles with stairs, I checked as I always do that it was disabled accessible! On the site it says it is. It could not have been more opposite. Wide concrete uneven stairs to get down to the entrance, no rail to hold on to, impossible for anyone in a wheelchair. Very difficult for my husband and I to struggle with every time we left the hotel. Once in the Riad, we were directed to the second floor, very difficult stairs, narrow, and a rope to hold on to, which made it hard for my husband, his worse nightmare to be honest, the terrace was up another staircase, much too difficult for him to do, so we had to have breakfast in reception. The second morning we were offered a room on the ground floor, so we took it, even though it was smaller, single beds, not the room we had booked and paid for, and there was no wardrobe, hanging space in fact nowhere to hang any clothes and no cupboards. Bathroom was small and very basic, it was a constant struggle for my husband. If you actually find the location to park, they will come meet you, however, the direction was not found, so I had to ask someone, he led us in, of course that will cost you. This is definitely not one for anyone with walking difficulties, young children or prams.

Schoon, mooi, centraal gelegen Riad

De locatie was midden in het centrum van Chefchaouen. Ontbijten op het dakterras gaf een prachtige start aan de dag. Personeel was supervriendelijk en wilde overal mee helpen.

Onwijs leuk huis om 3 nachten te verblijven

Heel aardig personeel en behulpzaam. Kwamen ons bij het busstation ophalen om samen een taxi te nemen, onze koffers werden gedragen/getild. Het dakterras is fantastisch, heel schattig en mooi uitzicht. Locatie is top, midden in het stadje.

Onze kamer had geen raam, alleen ramen naar de hal. Dus het was best een donker gat. Uiteindelijk ben je niet veel in de kamer dus het maakte ons niet zo uit.

I would not recommand this place

Location was ok... I advise you to look elsewhere

The reception is not profesional at all ... they have no manner or what so ever ... most of them they have no title to manage the checking process so it does requiered so long time and they ask you silly questions... it need a serious attention. The shower were without curtains ... breakfast so normal ... which you can get for 2 euro outside the hotel

Fijn verblijf!

Personeel is erg vriendelijk en de locatie is perfect. Ontbijt op het dakterras is een plus.

De kamer is wat krap, maar voorziet wel in alle benodigdheden.

Good location but needs a bit more up keeping

Small hotel with clean rooms. Nice terrace on the roof for breakfast and hanging out.

Some of the items in the room were broken, like the lamp.

It was OK at all

The location was excellent, in the heart of the Chefchouen. Terrace view is amazing. Staff is sincere. Thanks to Naessim

The terrace was noisy in the late hours of midnight. As another cons, i took the option of paying on site while booking the room but they charged the bill from the credit card without asking me.

Very good

The hotel has a top level, which gives an amazing view. The bed is clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms also has a AC, which gave extra comfort. The the bathrooms were clean, too. Also, the breakfast was amazingly and delicious, 👏 👌.

Everything was nice, nothing was disappointing.

Glad we decided to detour here and stay and not just take a day trip. Could have stayed longer!

The Dar was easy to find, in a central but quiet location and a really lovely place to stay on this beautiful city. Staff were helpful and there were several balcony areas to relax in and take in the views.

Well located but lack of support

Absolutely amazing terrance with a view of the city. Rooms were comfortable and located just off the main road through the Medina.

Limited guidance on how to reach the property and limited recommendations from the staff when asked for help about Chefchaouen and the surrounding area.

Amazing Riad in Chefchaouen

Location in the middle of everything. Owner and staff are very polite and helpfull, they do upgrade our room once we arrived by themselves. Room was clean and quite specious. View from room was great. Breakfast in the terrace with the great view to whole Chefchaouen and mountains was amazing.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

The view was amazing. Easy to get to and around the Medina. The staff was excellent, helpful and very attentive. Breakfast was delicious and they even made a smiley face omelet for my daughter. The AC was a great relief.

Great option for a stay in Chefchaouen

Super convenient location, breakfast was excellent, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

We stayed on the ground floor and so got some noise from the street at night, as we had our window open. The price to pay for such a central location, I suppose!

It was extremely noisy. We couldn't sleep because of the constant sounds and noise. The rooms are not soundproofed. The drain in the bathroom was running slowly.

location is very good

property is a bit dark. not all rooms are well lit. Booked a deluxe Room and was given a room with little light and no view. the manager changed it to a better room next day. breakfast is good but needs to be a bit hot. overall fair value.
