Sehr netter Kurzaufenthalt mit ausgesprochen netten, charmanten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern.

Es war soweit alles in Ordnung, die Zimmer waren wegen der vielen Betten (die wir nicht brauchten) etwas eng. Die Eigentümer, die die Unterkunft auch managen, selber für alles sorgen und pflegen, sind sehr freundlich und total hilfsbereit. Frühstück war einwandfrei, es gibt auch Omelett. Die Lage ist absolut zentral in der blauen Stadt, Man verlässt das Haus, läuft zehn Meter einen kleinen Stichweg und ist mitten in der Medina. Die Medina selbst lebt vermutlich komplett vom Tourismus. Muss man mögen, nicht jedermanns Sache.

Die Wegbeschreibung war etwas irreführend. Weil man nicht bis zur Unterkunft mit dem Auto fahren kann, muss man schon ein gutes Stück vorher am Rande der Fussgängerzone halten. Vielleicht als Adresse die des Wendeplatzes angeben und dann über Telefon zur Abholung verständigen. Für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung sind die engen, schmalen Treppen im Haus eine echte Herausforderung. Ich bin zwar nur leicht behindert, dennoch fiel es mir gelegentlich etwas schwer, mich im Haus treppauf und -ab (und Treppen gibt es genug) zu bewegen. Für Rollstuhlfahrer ist es leider ungeeignet. Die Medina ist schon sehr touristisch geprägt und dominiert, aber dafür könnn die Vermieter (die übrigens auch ein paar alternative Ausflugtips bereit halten) natürlich nichts.

Tipico Riad in posizione ottimale

Posizione eccellente, in pieno centro. Parcheggio lungo la strada nelle immediate vicinanze. Tipico Riad condotto da una famiglia molto gentile e disponibile. Camere ampie, pulite, colazione abbondante e buona.

Come in molti Riad, la camera in terrazzo è un po' freddina: Portarsi pigiama pesante!

L' accueuil chalereux et la flexibilite de Hind et son equipe. La proporete ainsi que la beaute de ce Riad.

Le lite etait un peu dur et il n' y avait pas d' eau chaude dans l' evier de la salle de bain.

Very authentic, comfortable, and affordable location.

We were not expecting an entire villa all to ourselves. And the private pool was a bonus. There was more than enough space for our family of six. The food was delicious. It gave a very authentic feel and was not very expensive.

Well . . . there was only one problem. A giant cockroach showed up in the bathroom the first night. Staff came immediately to find it, but it camouflaged itself on the wooden cabinetry. So we didn't use that bathroom all night. Then the next day my daughter found it and screamed louder than I had the night before. Staff came immediately and found it this time. I guess it can be expected when you're out in a remote location surrounded by so much greenery.

Inside Medina in quiet place. Very friendly staff available and helpful. Cozy accomodation, tasty breakfast and terrace available.

Excellent place to stay for a lovely time in Chefchaouen

The location of Dar Gabriel is excellent, it was very easy to find on a beautiful road. The dar was very clean and we loved the decor. The terrace is also very nice. The hosts were lovely especially Hind who was very kind and thoughtful. She offered us advice on where to eat and was so friendly throughout our stay.

Breakfast was adequate but could be better (for example savoury options like eggs)

Dar Daniel is located in a good location.

Its a nice location in the old town and very easy to walk from the hotel to everything in the area. The breakfast in the hotel was good.

We stayed in December and was very cold inside the hotel it feels a bit dark and humid and needs some heating apart from the Aircondition in your room. The breakfast area is really cold and you need a jacket when you eat.

We have never been to a guesthouse (dar) and it was a unique experience.

Dar Gabriel is well-located, the staff was very kind and the breakfast was satisfactory with fresh juice. Our room was located on the first floor and it was spacious. The bathroom as well was good.

The main problem that we encountered was the poor wi-fi signal that did not allow us to do streaming or video calls with quality.

My daughter and myself loved the Blue City, Chefchaouene.

We loved that the Hotel sits in the center of everything and its still so peaceful. We were right in the Medina. Everywhere is opened till late and everyone was friendly. The experience was great. The City is actually blue guys.

Pleasant Stay

The property is right in the middle of the blue part of the city and is in a shopping area which is lovely. The shops were opened until night.

The property is located in an area which is not accessible to vehicles. As such we had to carry our luggage over a considerable distance , about 10 to 15 mins walk.

Location. Charm of the Riad. Hosts. We loved all of it! Highly recommended.

Location. Location. Location. Very easy to get to. Very central. Just off the street. You can easily be in and out. Shopping. Taking photos. Having food. And to take a rest and bounce back. Managers/Owners were great. Very sweet. It was amazingly clean. Very stylish. Small but cute like a button type of Riad. Very nicely kept. Spotless. If you are traveling with a child (which I was. I was traveling alone with my 6 year old) and we met the riad owners cousin who was a little girl and very friendly. She played with my son and was so polite. We also met another american family with a child. Kids had a blast. When you exit to the main street from the inn, turn left and keep going. On to your right you will see a small Chinese restaurant which we loved :).

I wish we stayed in a larger room. We could hardly manage our luggage and move around. But we said no to higher floor due to walk up. At the time we booked they had larger room availability only on top floor. There are larger rooms in our floor but it was booked. I wish breakfast was not a 'name sake breakfast' and something a bit more better. Of all the riad's we have stayed Casa to rabat to fez to marrakesch, this was the most basic breakfast. We suggest them to make an improvement.
