The perfect stay, it was comfortable.

The locations is perfect on the main street with restaurants and shops in walking distance.
The place it self was quite clean and had a nice entertainment area and well as an open plan shared communal kitchen.

Located on the main street with restaurants and shops. The place is quiet too. I struggled with network on my phone but they had strong Wi-Fi. Danielle went out of her way to make us comfortable, even suggested a few dining restaurants too. We had issues with our bathroom and a few other things. She assisted as soon as we notified her. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic supplies like salt, sugar etc and even liquid soap for the dishes.
Old shower that doesn't run hot and cold water simultaneously. The whole bathroom could use renovations and kitchen basin.
The pillows were very dirty, Danielle did provide us with fresh ones but perhaps owners need to invest in brand new pillows.

Central, free games for the kids, very nice garden.
Rooms are a little bit old and small. But overall it's OK.

The location of the stay was strategically convenient, offering easy access to various attractions and amenities, making it ideal for families.
Although the weather was not optimal during our stay, the accommodation proved to be suitable for families, with ample indoor activities and amenities to keep everyone entertained.

The room was clean and the place was very quiet, a great place for relaxing. They have friendly staff which made our stay enjoyable. The place was also very pretty to look at.
The water from the taps was dark(brownish)in colour and we had to buy water to make coffee.
There was no backup during load shedding and the taps run dry during that period.

We love Stormsrivier, and the Village Lodge is so well situated to all the activities in the village that we could walk within minutes to where we wanted to be. Lodge is our first choice when staying in the village.
Nothing.

Property was neat, enough bedding and other facilities working properly
Connection was very poor, no free wifi connection, but it was advertised that they supply free wifi..

Very calm and relaxing place. Breakfast was very good. Safe place to stay and you can even go out in the village after dark safely. Amazing stay when you are in the area. Close to many wonderful hikes and only 20 min away from "the bungee jump bridge"
This has nothing to do with the accomodation !
Take care at the "bungee jump car parking" Pay the "park guard" before leaving the car-
Otherwise he will confront you with a flattened tire.

Loved the breakfast! Staff was very accommodating in requests and the breakfast was absolutely perfect! Even my 3 year old loved it (fussy eater). Loved the fact that we could walk everywhere. Beautiful garden and flowers!
People upstairs were a bit noisy late at night, but that is often a part of traveling and out of the control of the venue.

There is a communal kitchen/eating area. With a fridge and a gas stove and pots and pans available for residents. Breakfast was 👌 and cooked by the lovely staff. Andy the resident cat joined me at my table each morning. 😻 I also enjoyed the segway ride into the forest which is available at a discount to residents.
The rooms face a communal area. There was a party that went on until about 1am. Luckily packed some headphones, so that was a quick remedy to muffle out the noise. The segway ride advert in the rooms promised a ride to the big tree....don't think this on the agenda anymore for the 2 hour ride.

Staff were sweethearts always willing to accommodate and help. Breakfast was yummy. We had veg omelettes. Great coffee. The property is spacious and centrally located. Rooms are adequately sized. The cat Andy is adorable.
The communal fridge was a little gross.

Entertainment section very nice

They do not have back up generator and there was loadshedding most of the time. Once there is no power, water also goes off which made the stay a real challenge.

Lovely place, very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. Will definitely recommend.

The property is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We needed laundry service which was handled quickly and everything came back great.
The room was a little cold and there was no heater but we had an electric blanket provided which helped.
The location is great for a place to stop for a night or two (we were there two nights) but there aren’t many restaurants in the area so more than a few nights would be challenging.
The cold room was the only thing I would mention but the electric blanket helped a lot :)
