More than just a B&B

The property is beautiful and Marina (host) and her families kindness and hosting skills take the experience to another level. Room is as seen on pictures and the kitchen is well laid out. The terrace is the cherry on the cake with the best view of Mondello. Excellent location close to the beach and public transport links. Transfers arranged by host were excellent and recommended. My train was 3 hours late but my friendly, welcoming transfer was there waiting at 10.30 pm. Marina made me feel like I was visiting family which is a money can’t buy experience.

I saw a few bugs but it is sometimes part of the course in historical buildings. Host provided bug plug in which I recommend you utilise.

Exceptional

The apartment was amazing, situated in a prime place along the coastline of Mondello. It was well equipped with everything you could need, from a speaker to a coffee machine. Marina was a great host, she took the time to talk us through all the facilities and recommend the best restaurants. It’s definitely the nicest apartment we’ve ever stayed in, would 100% recommend to anyone holidaying in Mondello. Best part was the balcony which exceeded all expectations! The view couldn’t get any better 😊

Exceptional

Lovely apartment very close to the beach. The owner is helpful, he help us to find restaurants, bars in the city. There was a gift for us when we arrived (local pasta with tomato and olive oil). We could check in earlier and check out later. I recommend this for everyone, who wanted to experience the typical Italian beach life.

Comfortable and beautiful environment where we would love to stay again.

No breakfast was served, but an excellent cafe was nearby. Lovely terrace with wonderful views and you could make your own tea/coffee. Marina and her husband were exceptional hosts and have created a stunning home which they were proud to share.

Total perfection,in a fabulous setting.Only 2 minutes walk before you are in the sea.

it was an amazing villa and a total privilege to stay there. It lacked nothing. Fabulous terrace with 180 degrees view over the bay. It felt like a luxury hotel,only with self catering. The host and staff were exceptionally friendly and super accommodating.

A real gem in Mondello.

Superb apartment in mondello. Only 150 metres from beach. Upstairs terrace was fantastic. Marina was an excellent host.

The apartment was in a residential area of mondello. Most of the shops and restaurants were a 20 - 25 minutes walk with the exception of a few. This was not a problem though.

If you will feel Comfy, so its this the best Choice in Town.

Very Good Location, included a really beautiful terrace with very cool oversight. The Internet Connection was excellent.

The Only thing, hmmm the price for the Parking Car in this Private Area. 20 € per day.

We loved our stay 💕

First of all, I should start with the host. Marina is a wonderful warm host and we are very grateful that she was looking after us. She has made our stay very special. We have received a detailed information on everything we need and delicious Italian breakfast on the terrace. The apartment has a private terrace with amazing views on sea and mountains. It is great place for sunbathing and chilling out. The kitchen is very special too, well equipped and will chilled bottle of good local wine. The apartment itself is very comfy and have Sky TV. If we return to Sicily this will be our only destination!

Fabulous

Superb hosts, Marina is lovely ...very friendly and gorgeous house and gardens. fabulous roof top terrace with great views out to sea! Nice bottle of Sicilian wine for us too! Fabulous location, at the quieter, residential end of Mondello... which was perfect for us! Beach is at the bottom of the road, a 1 minute walk away. Super easy to get to the city of Palermo on the 806 bus from the hose, 2 minutes walk..takes 15 minutes and we’ll worth a visit, especially the food!! The house is a stones throw from Alba restaurant, which have super pasta dishes, fish and entrecôte steaks... great coffee and amazing cakes..good value for money too. Not a lot of English is spoken, but for us that is fantastic... it isn’t touristy and you’ll get a real taste of Sicily. We will definitely be back!

Superb

Hosts were very nice to us. They gave us a lot of tips about Mondello and Palermo. On the last day we were offered very nice breakfast with fresh pastries & fruit. The terrace is really amazing, we spent a lot of time there sunbathing or in the evening, watching the stars. They also provide a portable speaker for music. The beach in Mondello is 2 min away, and you can take a bus that takes you to the centre of Palermo in 20-30 min. We actually left the car in Mondello and preferred to go to Palermo by bus.

You could tell that the bathroom had another function initially and was later repurposed as a bathroom. Due to that, the water from the shower was always spreading onto the floor and the floor stayed wet for a long time. It was also more difficult to navigate the bathroom if you are taller then average. The host asks for 20 EUR per day for private parking, when there is free parking available on the streets not too far away. I was never asked so much per day for parking, especially when the cost of the room is already quite high.
