feels like the place is in the middle of sprawling neighborhood. did not see any restaurants or shops anywhere nearby. also be mindful that staff only speaks Spanish.

Although pictures shown seem to be outside the town, surprisingly is in the town. Once inside is like an island in town, great ambiance!!!
Calm, nice wooden floors and furnitures, friendly staff!!

Nice spacious room (Jnr Suite), sofa, small equipped kitchen. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Taxi is only $1.50/2.00 from the historic area.
Located 30 to 40 minutes uphill walk.

The location was great, close enough to the E35 and easy to find. The proprietor was amazing, she made us feel like we were at home, her kitchen was available for guests to use, she provided take out menus, called to order our dinner which we then enjoyed in her lovely kitchen. The flowers and lovely garden setting was so relaxing to sit and read in. Her sweet dogs were a treat. The room was huge, comfortable bed, sitting area, large bathroom and super hot water with good pressure - somethings that are often missing in Ecuador. The breakfast was excellent with actual individual pots of coffee and tea. Parking was secure and it was so quiet and peaceful. We have driven through Riobamba many times enroute north but had not found a place we’d say “let’s plan on staying at…” until now.

Lovely guest house, out of town, and for sure felt we could not wander outside the fenced in property after dark. Clean, great breakfast, quiet.
The location was perfect for our needs, but it was isolated, not near much to walk to, and quite a drive from town.

Excellent service above and beyond. It felt a little like being at home -- warm and friendly staff -- plus we were able to use the kitchen refrigerator and the cooktop to boil water and cook some oatmeal. Nice view of snow-covered mountains!

The building was pretty with lots of wood. It was in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was very helpful, and even helped us order some supper when we arrived. Breakfast was good and drinking water was available.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Great breakfast! And my host, Elena, went above and beyond - helped me order in a to-go pizza in the evening and made sure I had everything to go along with it!

Lovely grounds for an urban location, staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, spacious room.
No screens on any windows and very little ventilation. Room got very hot in afternoon, with no way to cool it off.

The breakfast was excellent. The manager was very efficient, friendly, and she recommended a very good restaurant for dinner. There was a large amount of space to place belongings in the room. Their was a garage where we could put our rental car. The atrium was beautifully planted, and the entire property was light and airy, with interesting wall hangings and photos of indigenous people and volcanoes in Ecuador.
We could have used a wastebasket in the room, in addition to the one in the bathroom.
