Great location, lovely and quiet with a really nice pub for the evening time. Services good food and beer. The room nicely round the back with a good place to park bikes right next to the room was a massive plus. Nice friendly staff.
Good overall. Breakfast (although nice) was extra cost but it seems to be the case in a lot of places.

Staff very friendly, helpful, particularly breakfast & house cleaning staff.
Size of room made setting out open luggage impractical. But this is a reality of buildings of a different age. A tradeoff, I guess, for atmosphere.

Clean tidy and quiet. Ideal place to stopover.

Beautiful spacious chalet room in an annexe from the pub off the car park, so easy to transport luggage (which is always a consideration for me when booking!). There were glass panneled doors to the entrance which I presume would normally provide a lovely countryside view as I could just see 2 swans in the distance (but couldn’t see a lot else as I arrived in the dark and left in the morning in dense fog!) I chose the accommodation for its proximity to RAF Scampton. I loved the spacious bathroom and walk in shower. I also loved the peaceful countryside location and wildlife.
Nothing!

Lovely pub. Beautiful food. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The accomodation was lovely . Was heated throughout the night , a godsend as it was so cold and we woke up to snow.
Meal prices were really good.
Ideal spot to stay as we had travelled to Lincoln and were then going to York.
If I had to find fault , the accomodation was small , but for the price we paid , we didn't mind. The bathroom was small , shower wasn't great , couldn't get the water hot enough and shower head was clogged. But as we only stayed 1 night , it wasn't really a problem.

Lovely friendly staff, who were very helpful. Room looked and felt clean and maintained - there was a sense of pride in their business. Tea, coffee and biscuits were much appreciated after a long day. Bed was comfortable. I could park right outside which made carrying bags in super easy. It was lovely and peaceful. Pub had a lovely welcoming and family feel.
Reversing out of the car park at night - it was difficult to see where the car park ended and the main road started.

Room had everything in it that we needed.
Breakfast was first class, value for money and service and server were excellent.
Everything was fine, only thing extra would have been to have had more milk in room for our cuppas.

As we were visiting Hemswell antique centre and the lincs steam rally then the location was just right, being about halfway between the two. If we are in the area again then this will be the place for us.

Just what we needed and for a very fair price.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Great place, I have stayed there before. Only minor issue is that the the breakfast time is non negotiable at 08:00 to 09:00 and no earlier or later.
Breakeast is too late for some people.

Excellent room, stayed here several time but room 6 is definitely the best. Lovely shower.
The food in the pub linked to the chalets was terrible. The basic carbonara turned up like dog food, I'm not even sure Rex would eat it. I paid the bill after to mouth fulls and explained to the bar manager, but there was little sympathy and no reimbursement, just confirmation that the chef was new! Avoid eating there.
