Our two night stay resulted in an emergency situation that was handled reasonably well by the hotel Management team.
During our 2nd night the guests in the room on the floor directly above our room had knocked on their shower and left the shower door open.
At 4am water started dripping through the ceiling into our bathroom and within minutes the dripping became a flow through several places within our room.
Water came through the main ceiling light fitting and quickly flooded the bed as well as running down the walls and onto our floor. A call to the emergency phone number of the hotel resulted in the Manager reacting fairly promptly, subsequently sorting the situation and providing us with another room. By pure luck and good fortune our clothes and personal items were not significantly water damaged.
An inspection of our damaged room the following morning clearly showed how fortunate we had been to react immediately to the water coming through the ceiling and electrics, as I hate to consider what might have happened.
A catch up with the Manager on check out the following morning resulted in further apologies for what happened. An offer of compensation would have been appreciated, given the loss of a comfortable (and safe) nights sleep, however this was not offered to us.

We had an apartment overlooking the promenade, and it was gorgeous! The breakfast was lovely too.
Not all rooms have lift access, or keycard access as the description says. The windows could do with a bit of a clean on the inside so you can enjoy the views better. There was no socket by the bed

Nice bathroom
Spacious
You can’t request a certain room if you book it using booking.com (feel like we’re not as important even though we’re all paying customers)
Also the rooms in the photos are not the same rooms you get. I’ve booked a few times and never been allowed to get the room I want even when I’ve booked well in advance.

Not much, location only.
Poor state of repair, not secure as back door to annex was left open all night. Very dirty throughout. The shower barely worked, and was unsafe. Mattress was left in hallway, random items left lying around.
Massively overpriced. Not a nice experience. My advice don’t go.

We stayed in a seafront view room which was very modern and chic. Loved the grey, marble interior and the view was amazing.
4.0
Comfortable bed, cosy window seats with great sea views, easy booking-in system, varied breakfast choices, good central position in town
A shame there was no lift and I had not been told in advance our room was on the second floor. My husband has mobility issues and found the stairs quite a struggle

the family suite was lovely and spacious, there was plenty of utensils in the kitchen and you get whole ground floor to yourself, ease of access right on beach front
my husband went into back room to sleep with one of our children so I could get a decent night sleep, but ended up I only had an hour as it was the hottest room with the heating being on in bathroom. 1 very restless night. What was so disappointing was that when we’d spoke to someone on phone they arranged we could check in earlier as booked to use spa so the kids and dog could wait in room, that hadn’t been passed on so room wasn’t ready, also we’d booked treatments as it was a birthday present as well as a night to try to relax but they cancelled the day before just waiting on refund. the stay ended up being more expensive than if we’d booked through the place itself as had to pay extra for spa (wasn’t worth it) and breakfast (breakfast was good).
lot of money spent and the next day not feeling revived at all but worse.
the family room was lovely though. and we loved sitting at the window watching the waves.

Great large seaview grd floor room with kitchenette. Everything you needed. Car parking available too.
Maybe better pricing thought it was tad expensive no breakfast included either.

I can't really answer this as it was booked for a single male friend, I know the location was good and the price was more reasonable than Premier Inn.

DOORS ON THE TARACE WERE UNABLE TO BE LOCKED AND SOMEONE FROM OTHER NEIGHBOUR ROOMS WALKED INTO THE FLAT AT NIGHT WHILE I WAS ASLEEP. BTW WHEN I ASKED IF MY ROOM WAS READY THE "PERSONEL" TOLD ME IT WAS READY, WHEN CLEARLY WAS NOT- NOT ONLY COBWEBS UNDERNEATH THE BED, A LOT OF SHORT HAIR(PUBIC ALIKE ON THE BEDDING) & A BLOOD STAIN ON THE PILLOW. THE WEATHER WAS COLD, BUT THERE WAS NO BLANKET ON THE BEDDING. ON THE FIRST SOGHT SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE SAID IT IT OK, BUT IT OS UNACCEPTABLE TO LET LEAVE BEDDING IN THAT STATE- WITH ALL THOSE HAIR. I DON'T KNOW IF THE FULL COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE, TEA AND SUGAR SET WAS TO MADE UP FOR IT, BUT UNDER NO EXPLANATION IS TO LET BEDDING IN THAT STATE- I AM SURE IT WAS NOT EVEN CHANGED SINCE LAST CUSTOMER- I KNOW THE TRICKS OF HO(S)TELS AS I HAVE WORKED IN ONE AND I WAS TOLD TO DO EXACTLY THAT- I WILL NOT EVEN GET TO DETAILS OF ALL OF THAT.
THE BIGGEST- AND I MEAN BIGGEST!! DISADVANTAGE- NOT YO CALL THAT A ROBBERY STRAIGHT AWAY - IS TO TAKE THE MONEY FOR THE FULL STAY AT UR PRICE- FOR HOW IT LOOKED😳, WHILE I STAYED THERE ONLY 1 NIGHT. & WHEN I TELL "PERSONEL" I MEAN VERY WELL KNOWN TO ME VERY CLOSE FRIEND TO MY SISTER, WHO PROBABLY DONE THIS DELIBERATELY, ESPECIALLY WHEN I' VE ASKED HER IF MY ROOM IS ALREADY DONE( TO BE HONEST I CAME DAY EARLIER, BUT SHE, SMILLING, TOLD ME AFTER SHORT THINK "IT IS DONE- FOR SURE"- I DON'T SAY IT WAS AN ANY REVENGE ON HER SIDE, BUT WHO THE HELL GIVE OUT ROOM LOOKING THAT WAY- I GET WHY UR NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY IS SO INFRONT ON THE WEBSITE.
I BET U GOT WHAT I MEANT, AND I BET SHE MIGHT HAVE BEEN THAT "ANNA/ANKA"- THE FRINLEND OF MY SISTER- OR WHO EVER SHE REALLY IS, FROM HER OWN HOSTELS, WHO JUST WANTED ME TO HAVE THE WORST CHRISTMAS DAY & TIME- BUT I DON'T CARE ANYMORE.
UR NON- RETURNABLE PAID CASH POLICY EXPLAINS ITSELF- AS THIS IS NON- PROFITABLE BUSINESS OTHER WAY ROUND- UR CUSTOMERS WOULD JUST DIE OUT LIKE FLIES.

The seafront location was perfect and we enjoyed the view from our room.
We thought we booked a room in 46 Marine Terrace with access to a kitchen for self-catering, but on arrival we were given keys to a regular room in the Marine hotel. Confusing. The sea view was wonderful, but it was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in, nothing like what was shown online. Very cramped, little room for luggage, and the bathroom was even smaller. Would suit a lone traveller, but not two people, with a student child visting us for a meal! There was also a party going on in the bar area below our room, with pounding music until 11:30.

Stunning views of Cardigan Bay and Aberystwyth North-beach, from our sea-front hotel room, which had a large bay window. Beautiful sunsets. You can hear the surf at night time when it's high tide.
Very spacious, well equipped room with refrigerator and microwave, and very comfortable beds.
The door lock was a little temperamental, and required a little effort to open. The door catch could also benefit from some overdue maintenance.

When we arrived we were given a better room on the first floor of 47 instead of on the 3rd floor of 46 It was more convenient for the car park (we are elderly) I was delighted to find it had a view of the sea and the sun was shining on the water. The breakfast was brilliant and we would love to come again.

Excellent breakfast ( with thick bacon), perfect view and a comfy bed.

we liked the location of the property and the staff was lovely
we booked a apartment that I got told that we would have a eat area and from the information given it was a spacious room we got given a smal room with two beds in not dining area there was no way it was a apartment I didn’t want to complain and ruin the stay as this was my sons first time at the seaside since being diagnosed with cancer. I think that we should have received the room agreed

Good location
A weird combination of a dirty room, chip materials for refurbishment and the pretension to be an exclusive suite.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and let me wait beyond check out time in the reception area, also allowed me to leave my heavy bags until I could pick them up later with a taxi, allowing me to enjoy my morning unencumbered.
I loved the hotel but the breakfast though adequate was a bit old fashioned, needing more cooked breakfast vegan gluten free options.. linda McCartney sausages are very easy to find these days as is gluten free bread. However this is a minor niggle in general everything was absolutely fine, and I was made very welcome.

Parking facilities, location on the seafront, friendly staff.
Having our room changed unexpectedly on arrival due to a wedding. Though I believe it was upgraded to the studio so although we had more room, we didn't get the sea view we hoped for.
Being charged twice for the accomodation. Once via booking.com pre arrival and once via staff on arrival. Though this has now been refunded

the property was clean
Very hot weather and we were up 2 flights of stairs. the window didn’t open. we did have a small fan provided. the shower had a very small shower head and so only a trickle of water came out. the water was either freezing cold or boiling hot. we were led to believe there was a dining area so expected a fridge etc but it was just a room with a double bed and 2 single beds.
