Ban tai stranden er en nydelig perle. Her finner man ro.

The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful and absolutely beautiful location. The beach is the most beautiful on the island and we've seen the majority.
The owner set us up on the private trip around the island and it was a great day out! Highly recommended.
Our room was facing the beach and we had absolutely the best time!! Even with low tide you are couple of meters away from nice sandy access to the sea.
The lunch is very tasty at the restaurant. Breakfast is good but choice is not too wide.
Next door there's very good restaurant Cape Away. Great choice for the evening in a nice atmosphere.
This hotel is far from parties and crowded bars which we loved!
It's not the newest hotel and some things could be renewed i.e. shower, sinks etc. Anyway ... We loved it there and wouldn't change it for any other location.
4.0
The location, beach and access to a restaurant on the beach.
Nothing.

The staff was extremely nice. The hotel doesn't offer food in the evening but it doesn't matter because neighbor restaurants are good and only a few minutes walk away. I enjoyed my stay.
The showers were lower pressure than I am used to but it wasn't horrible at all. The hotel is a longer taxi ride away from the action on Samui but it isn't horrible either. Most my destinations were within a 20 minute drive.

Beautiful, huge room with amazing views of the ocean on a quiet beach. Great communication.
The restaurant closes at night so you have to go elsewhere. However, there is a good restaurant next door.

Location: near the end of the road and beach. Secluded.
Room: very clean, nice adjoining private pool, incredible view.
Staff: very attentive, engaging yet leave you alone to enjoy your stay.
Food: no dinner served, but the breakfast and lunch were tasty.
Beach: just a few hotels so not many people, water is warm!
General atmosphere: kind and quiet, just what was advertised and what we wanted.
Beach: large reef out front so not much room for swimming directly in front of hotel. Swimming area is a short walk away and pleasant.

The private pool overlooking the beach and sea was wonderful, watching the sunset.. paradise
Everything was exceptional. Nothing we didn't like

La Perle gave up an amazing vacation, we had everything we needed. From chilled quietness to travel to fun liveliness by their personal driver, who was always on call and at reasonable costs. Next door there’s a fitness centre and the staff are full equip with information. Tang was extremely helpful and made sure we were safe to get back from nights out with her l self being on call for info, taxi booking bng a and translations.
Nothing was to dislike. If I were to make an improvement it would be to put a sheer curtain in the rooms so that you could chill looking onto the beach without people looking in. There is a black out curtains for a great night sleep and double glazed windows for quietness but a sheer curtain to chill and listen to the world would top it.

Beautiful pool/beach area. Also loved the private plunge pool at the room. Rooms are spacious and nice and bright.
The pillows :(

private pool was not cleaned but the beach will do :)

Very good resort! The crew and the owners takes good care of you and give you a comfort feeling when you live there. The food is good and the kitchen have many options. The location is at the beach! Can't find better location or amazing resort.

The beach was beautiful, clean, great. Also the common pool was good. Location good and quite close to pier. The taxi driver was very friendly and helpful, he was the best part of our stay. Rooms were spacy.
The rooms were outdated, black spots and rust in shower, rusty chairs and table at the patio. Food was terrible and really not worth the money. We ordered basic thai food which didn’t taste like anything and breakfast was just awful. Breakfast was extremely pricy and due to power outage we got what they had which was muesli (with ants..), tea (ok), fresh fruit (good) and an omelette (ok). This for a price of 350THB per person.
2.5
it was across from the beach
it didn’t look like the pictures
the bed was awful

The fact that it was a beachfront resort, although there are only 2/3 beachfront rooms, the rest are cramped behind the road that leads to other properties. Nothing else to be liked.
The female manager was incredibly rude, the facilities was definitely not as portrayed online, which is often the case, but in this case, it is definitely false advertising. For example the website shows a restaurant that does not exist.
The plumbing at the hotel is a mess, our first room reeked of sewerage every time we flushed the toilet. After trying to stay there for one night, we begged to be moved. The second room’s bathroom flooded when we tried to use the basin. We were told we broke it!? This were just some of the issues we had.

The beach is really nice and the property is literally on it, at least half of the rooms.
The property has serious plumbing issues: low water pressure, no water for a day, clogged drains etc.
It is very run down. Nothing close to the photos at all. In our room the ceiling had some serious problems.
The room is very cold and not cozy or comfortable. mattresses are very hard.
There is no restaurant on site although they say there is. There are some nice restaurants very close.
The wifi didn’t work at all for a few days. Then it worked better but was still very unstable.
Some rooms had literally black pool water.
What I paid for it, was not worth it at all.

Set on a nice beach
There was no food/drinks or restaurant at this property we found that disappointing. The restaurant next door was ok but you don’t wanna eat there the entire holiday. it’s quite far from the nearest shop. I think the owners could of give some information about the area as we had never been there. They also could of let you sit in the restaurant area as it had a great view but the staff used it. we had nowhere in the room to eat food or no cutlery it was difficult a table and chairs would of helped.
1.0
The location.
The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The owner is very helpful. But, that is where is stops.
The place is not being unkept. There are a number of problems.. when you get there you will immediately be struck with the realization that the restaurant as advertised does in fact not exist. Even though the rooms still have orders menus indicating something different. The previous setting for the Restaurant has been converted into an unpleasant office for the manager that does not only greet the guests sitting behind the previous dinning table. You will realize that, she only sit. Only once did I intact see her het up.
The rooms just about all have plumbing problems. Serious problems. I must however mention that the owner did get plumbers out to attend to two of the toilets that were leaking and a washbasin that did not let the water out. The one room had its ceiling g hanging down I. The one corner, the wash basin I. Our room we could only use the one as the other one did not have a nozzle and if you opened it, it spilled water directly out side.
I can go on, but you will probably not want to read more. I believe that once the owner wakes up he might save the place.

The view is good, Coco beach hotel
next to this is very good. Theme of the place is nice!
The caretaker is loud, and not helpful. We had a bad smelling kettle, someone had cooked something in it. No room service after a certain time.

Spacious room, great position right on the beach in a quiet area.
Would have loved more pillows and a better shower, and hot rather than warm water.

- the location on maenam beach is second to none. the sea water has 3 layers of colour
, blue, dark blue (coral) and then turquoise blue. Palm trees, powdery sand, quiet beach, and views of Ko Pha-ngan. One of the most beautiful beaches ive stayed on. the kids loved it.
- we had the only room with a truly private pool, very private and relaxing. relaxed in it every evening after dinner.
- a wonderful and smart dog lives there named Mimi
- easy to rent motorbikes (get outside better) other resorts near by had good food, good service, massage near by, laundry, 7 eleven, good thai restaurants on main road.
- very good seafood restaurants in bang bo
- not far from bo phut fishermans village with many great restaurants and shopping (coco tams, red moon etc)
- this hotel is up for sale by the french owners and therefore is not being further invested into or maintained
- 1 of our rooms toilets was blocked, reported and took 3 days to be fixed
- our private pool tiles came off after a few days of staying there and we had to move rooms. new rooms again 1 of toilets also was blocked, never got fixed.
- no restaurant, no snacks, no bar, as no staff. had to get motorbike to buy food and drinks from 7-eleven or from street vendors
- tried to checkout early and recover some funds to stay somewhere else due to above issues, was told would not get any days money refunded (pre-paid). booking.com also assisted and got same answer from hotel. booking[.]com refunded us 10%.
- huge argument with another guest family and hotel staff due to their room and other issues, off putting as came to relax on holiday
- better off to stay at Mimosa resort on the same beach

The hotel and staff are amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The beach is 10 meters from the beach
A bit far from nightlife and streetfood

Absolute value! It’s on what turned out to be our favorite beach on the island, very quiet. Really comfortable rooms, with private pool - although we already loved the shared one.
internet wasn’t great, just about good enough. There is no kitchen at the moment, but there are enough options around.

Right on a beautiful beach, clean rooms that had everything you needed
Restaurant was closed and in a very remote area so that was very annoying. Would have been nice to be informed about that so I could have picked up supplies beforehand

The beach is beutiful and quite. It is between Maenam beach and Ban Tai.
iIf you really want to enjoy it stay at Mimosa resort.
It feels like the owner dosn't really care about the place anymore and their aim is to get as much money out of visitors.
The beach is isolated so you'll need to rent a taxi/car/bike. To do so with the resort will be very expensive, just go 5 minutes up the road and you will get eveything cheaper.
We had No working TV and the wifi was very wea so the kids (3) played a lot by the pool. This made the staff very unhappy and they complained about eveything we did (moving the sunbeds, opening the shades). They even called the police on us after filming them yelling at my family at the pool. The police were very nice and understanding.
There was No open kitchen so for food and shakes you'll have to go next door. The office closes at 16:00 and all staff are gone.
For the last 2-3 days both our toliets were clogged and our room became a construction area. That's when we decieded we had enough and left the resort with NO compensation from the owner!!
We obviously asked to leave but the owner insisted not to refund us even when offered a compensation.
All this was reported to Booking in realtime but unfourtunetly even they and the police could not help us convince the owners.
Shame on them! Do avoid!!

the sand and the sea was nice.
I don't even know where to start here. Our room was extremely dirty, especially the bathroom. You had to ask several times a day for the room to be cleaned. That often didn't happen until 8 o'clock in the evening. The cleaning itself always took an extremely long time. The "manager" was always extremely unfriendly and not very insightful. We book a room with a sea view, which we never got. Also no refund for the worse room. All in all it was the worst place i have ever been to and wouldn't wish the hotel on my worst enemy.

The location is exceptionally beautiful 😍

The property is right on a beautiful quiet beach. The water and beach was clear and free of rubbish. There is a small reef close to shore but it is easy to get past this to deeper water. A great environment for children to explore. There are beach dogs that are quite friendly, even with my dog who can be over-protective and territorial. This is a great beach for those who like a quiet and relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle, bustle and excitement of the more popular beaches.
I was staying during COVID lockdown, so restaurant options within walking distance were very limited.
3.5
I liked the room. I loved the rooftop pool and the area where the hotel was located.
We weren’t allowed to check-in a couple of hours earlier, although the hotel didn’t have many guests and our rooms were ready. We were not informed of the availability of coffee in the lobby, which would’ve been very nice. We only discovered it by accident.
