We had an excellent experience - the facilities and owner made it. We would stay there again.

We were delayed in checking in until after midnight due to a car crash blocking the road on a state highway. After ringing the owner and explaining he was so helpful and facilitated our late arrival. He had turned on the heating in the room so nice and cozy when we got there. He had supplied biscuits for us as well. Nothing was a problem. The next morning although we prepared to checkout he said because of our late arrival we could have a late check out at no extra cost. We had places to be so didn't take up the offer but that was a brilliant thing to have offered. Very considerate. Room was very comfortable. Bed super comfy. Quiet place to stay. Parking good.

Shower great but could be a bit bigger - but this did not detract from the overall excellent experience.

The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect, off the main road and nestled in a gorgeous lush tropical setting. We loved the wine barrel in the outdoor BBQ area, which we would have used if it had been warmer weather. We loved the little back door at the back of the unit that looked out onto lush greenery. We really loved the high architecturally designed ceilings and the colour scheme. We also really liked the landscaping. Everything was beautifully tidy and well manicured.

Great motel to stay at, very friendly host, and great location.

We asked John the owner for an extra bed the day before as our daughter decided to come with us and he was very accomodating.

Exceptional

John went out of his way last minute to accommodate us all, when we changed the amount of people coming. He was so welcoming and the rooms were lovely and clean and comfy. Walking distance to all the local restaurants etc. Will be back.

What a wonderful, kiwiana motel, great host and bonus they welcome dogs! A short walk along the river track to town.

John the owner of the place is the most kind and genuine person, willing to do whatever it takes to make his guests feel welcome and at home. Definitely the best personality for this kind of a business. Others could learn from this man. He's taking great care of this place. This is the ONLY place we will stay if we are traveling or staying in Geraldine. Look no further. Thank you John!

A perfect night's sleep.

Most comfy beds ever .I usually have trouble sleeping. But there beds are so great it's not a problem. Excellent people and they make you feel so welcome and make the stay very stress free and we very much appreciate that they allow your wee fur babies to stay .

There is nothing to not like.

A good choice when staying in Geraldine.

A very friendly welcome from John on arrival. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed and plenty of space for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable and noise from the road was minimal. A couple of very pleasant walks started just across the street and the motel is within a reasonable walking distance from the town centre.

was handy to where we were working. Warm, comfy bed.

maybe the car parks could have numbers as someone had taken ours by the time we worked into a park we couldn’t open the doors. Wasn’t ideal.

Check in was exceptional. John greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room. Bed was super comfortable, room lovely and clean and loved the yummy biscuits 😋

Excellent. Would stay there again.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was good. The room was well laid out and we like the use of colour for the crockery and the decor in general. The proprietor had turned on the heater and put cookies in our room. Very friendly. Very easy. We would definitely stay here again. We like that it was small and slightly off the road.

The location of the hand basin made the access to it 'compact' for larger people.
