Location to Auckland waterfront at great value / price. Short walk to great cafe
Rollers on Ranch door tracks to patio need replacing.

The Location was fabulous with a minute's walk to the beach and cafes. We also loved that the Motel was dog-friendly. The staff were helpful and friendly and the balcony was a pleasant setting to have a wee wine at the end of the day.
There was a draft coming through the kitchen window and the curtains didn't give good coverage. My daughter slept in a single bed in the living area close to the window and she didn't feel very secure due to the window situation. We felt the apartment could do with a little TLC.

Location was great and close to the beach. The kitchen was adequate for us, It had a comfortable feel about the place. Very relaxing. Close to shops etc.
Being told not to use the single bed if we didn't need to. Understandable as my spouse and I could sleep on the double bed. But snoring eventually puts one on the couch, luckily for me, the couch was a fold out bed, unlucky for me, there were no blankets, but again lucky for me, it was a warm night and the couch cushions kept me warm. It was my choice though to respect the wishes of the owners to refrain from using amenities that you pay for. But personally, I feel they shouldn't have asked that of me. That's my opinion anyway. Lastly, they need to get rid of the white duvet as they have stains on them. Not good.

Clean and comfortable. Great location

Beach is 2 minutes walk away.
The kitchen needs an upgrade. There are plumbing issues with drainage.

It was within walking distance of the beach and some eating places.
We came back to the motel after having dinner and there were baby cockroaches on the floor. Old pizza boxes were stashed inside one of the cupboards. The next morning, larger roaches were seen running under the stove. My husband mentioned it to the owners, they seemed not to be phased by it. Other than that it was maintained.

It was great we stayed for 5 nights. It was like a home away from home. So close to the beach and shops and really close to all the things we wanted to see in Auckland. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating

Great location, accommodations are nice and cosy, very close to the shops and Auckland city also.
The shower is very small.

Awesome staff and very comfortable room which if I'm right is fully sound proofed as didn't hear a thing thru out our 2 night stay
The weather which Sarangi has no control over and the unfortunate chance that had a upstairs room right down the opposite end

Basic but clean. Great location
Toilet did not flush very well

Location was superb just near the beach and lovely cafes. Despite this location it was very quiet at night. Good little kitchenette. Don't expect modern here...the building is a little dated but very clean and comfortable. In complete fitting with its surroundings and the suburb it is in, great value for money with Parking onsite.
Nothing it is lovely will be back again.

The location of the property was close to where we were going for the weekend.
I also like the carpark and private entrance to our family room
A bit small for family room.
I can understand the price of the motel for the area but for older style property. You could hear chairs being moved upstairs.

Location was great and the facilities were lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows.
The heater was too small to heat the room especially as it was a really cold evening and night.

Electric blanket was good! Was clean!
The toilet cistern once flushed did not fill up properly. Had to get up and manually stop the toilet from constantly running.
The light above the drawers didn't work (no bulb) as was the study area (lighting not working). The single bed in the lounge was leaning towards one side so you felt like you were going to roll off. The maintenance person was not very good. The door to the bedroom could not be opened fully as it got stuck 3/4 of the way across. Heater too small for keeping you warm. Went to bed because the electric blanket warmed me up. This was at 6.30pm.

The bed.
Didn't like The smell inside the room
The loud room door opening and closing
The thin walls, I could hear someone above us snoring
No ventilation in the bathroom so we had to leave the door open and shower for some air
