Wonderful!

Kalpanas homestay is truly a home away from home! The place is so beautifully decorated and has lots of greens. The room was spacious and very clean. Hosts were always responsive and so caring! Helped with recommendations and anything that made my stay easier. Really enjoyed my stay and so glad I had the chance to meet Aarush and Kalpana. Definitely coming back!

A home away from home

They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their friendliness and useful guidance made the trip to India. It was the first place we could switch off and rely on our host to help us with everything from preparing meals for us, recommending fantastic restaurants, organising a taxi tour to the fort and even helping plan the rest of our transit to the next steps on our travels. They also encouraged us to add some hidden gems like Pushkar and Chittorgarh to our travel itinerary, which was lovely.

Cozy, clean rooms, tasty homemade food

Kalpana and her family was so lovely. It was a very welcoming place to stay in. I stayed in the room with terrace and it was also nice. If you stay here you definitely have to try the yoga class with Kalpana.

Lovely spot in Jaipur

Lovely place to stay in Jaipur. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Tea and coffee available as well as filtered water. You can have home made meals or eat at several good restaurants nearby. Above all, the homestay is in a nice and quiet area and had a good sleep.

Quiet location. Beautiful room. The yoga here was really good and authentic.

Something was leaking in our bathroom and it didn't get fixed until our 3rd day. Food was quite expensive.

Kalpana home stay is so beautiful! the rooms are stunning, just how they look in the photos. Kalpana her family are so kind and generous. amazing hospitality. food is incredible, and so nice to have a comforting homely place to stay in Jaipur. Excellent location!

Quite noisy at night, because of the neighbours next door and also our room was attached to the main house, which meant the lights shone into our room at night. but I guess all of Jaipur is noisy so actually it’s not a major negative. and you can’t hear street noise.

Fabulous homestay in a great location

A really lovely homestay in a quiet suburb of Jaipur. We had a fabulous large room with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. There were tables and chairs just outside the room on an enclosed terrace full of potted plants. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Kalpana offers yoga lessons in her studio on the first floor which I can highly recommend. It was just a short tuk tuk ride to all the main sites and there are a few good restaurants very close by within walking distance. We can recommend Daniels if you like Chinese food and want a change from Indian food! Based on the many other homestays we've experienced on our Indian travels so far, this has been the best so far and the only 10 I've awarded!

A peaceful retreat from the city centre

This is a lovely calm sanctuary in a very loud city. The property is really pretty and our room was big, bright, and looked just like the photos. Aaruush helped us with lots of things, and we even had a private yoga class at the homestay. It's good that it's a little away from the city centre because any closer and it would be unbearably loud and busy, and it was an easy tuk tuk ride away from the Pink City. There's also two great restaurants on the next road - Kalyan and Peacocks.

The room and bathroom could use a little TLC - just dusting and fixing a few minor things. But these really didn't affect our stay.

This is a beautiful house with the nicest hosts. The potato stuffed paratas were delicious at breakfast. room was spacious and nice, with a clean newly renovated bathroom. Definitely the place we’ll choose to stay at next time.

- Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and grounds at the property. - Fantastic breakfast. Plenty of food and variety for a good price. - From start to finish we felt extremely well looked after with advice/recommendations etc. Additionally, Aaroosh went above and beyond to help me when I got sick whilst staying, helping me get medical support and continually checking in to see if I was ok. The level of care was hugely appreciated - thank you!

Little oasis in the busy city with caring family

Overall a very cute homestay that the family has clearly put their heart and soul into. The building was beautiful and there were plants absolutely everwhere which was a great touch! Aaruush was so kind and very responsive, he also helped us organize several tours and our transportation to New Delhi - super genuine and kind person who obviously cared greatly that we have a good experience. He brought us home made chai when we first arrived and brought us extra blankets the second day when we were chilly!The breakfast was also absolutely DELICIOUS! Really felt like one of the family staying there. Rooms were cute and cozy with unique art & furniture pieces. Also appreciated their eco-concious efforts (glass filtered water, etc).

The bed could have been a little more comfortable, although it was really fine (especially for the price for staying). One of the duvets smelled a little, but they replaced it the second day when I asked about it and other than that the room (towels/sheets, etc.) and entire homestay seemed very clean! One thing to know is that the shower and toilet are one, which was fine (and did have hot water!) but that the floor of the bathroom stays quite wet for a while after you shower.

Enjoyable

The owners were very friendly en very helpful. They helped us with the taxi, a day of visiting Jaipur etc. You can easily send them a whatsapp text and they answer very quickly. Homestay was located in a calm area in Jaipur with a nice terrasse. Breakfast was very good. The matrass was a bit too hard for me but for my brother it was fine. Would definitely recommend this place.

The house was nice and the garden was beautiful, the room was well decorated, we had mineral water at our disposal, Arush was very nice and helped us with everything we needed

Comfy stay in Jaipur

Fantastic location in Jaipur. Staff helped with pick up from station and have a beautiful home. Relaxed space amongst the huddle and bussle of the city. Good food nearby walking distance. Bed comfy and room great.

Atms are hard to find nearby, that have cash, so just make sure you have cash sorted or have one on the way to activities, etc. Not a negative for these guys, just a heads up

PERFECT place quiet area but very close to the Centre, helpful and caring stuff, clean, very very authentic and pretty property…….perfectly matching the price, you cannot hope more! Ahhh than if you want an AMAZING guide to discover Jaipur and also other Cities in the Rajasthan ask to the owner for it and you will end your experience of Rajasthan and Jaipur in the BEST way possible and on budget 👍🏼

Beautiful design and great value for money.

Lovely family run guesthouse, great location, quiet and peaceful, beautiful design of the building and bedroom. Close to the station and a short rickshaw drive away from cafes and restaurants. Hotel Kalyan nearby has a rooftop and live music. Great facilities and neighbourhood. We really appreciated having access to a fridge with refillable water bottles. You can take yoga lessons each morning if you are interested. We extended to 6 nights because it was great value, comfortable and such a nice place to stay! Thank you Akshat and Kalpana!

Kind of a home away from home.

Many things!! The room was decent. Apt for the price paid. Location was a big turn off. Quite isolated, one has to wait or maybe walk it out to get an Ola/Uber. Streets aren't a great sight too. When we reached at night after some sightseeing there was no way we could step out for dinner as no autos were there so had to eat at the homestay We were 2 of us and paid 600 rs each for food which wasn't that worth the price we paid AT ALL!! Being weak eaters all we ate was what 1 person would eat. Next day as we had an early morning flight,we got breakfast from the homestay too(another big mistake) Badmouthing about food isn't good so won't say any further. FYI: we paid 400 each for breakfast!! Would strictly recommend guests booking to not opt for any meals there.

Wonderful Hosts, make you feel comfortable at home. Neat and clean well furnished and decorated rooms.

Temple and Mosque competing against each other who will disturb the locality more. Narrow road makes parking a bit tricky for larger vehicles.
