The only thing we liked was the location and staff professionalism, and the restaurant which was not part of the hotel for breakfast
The property is in disrepair, with black mould everywhere, broken and mould wooden blinds, paint flaking on the corridor ceilings, toilets mouldy and very stained, mould on the mosquito nets covering the four poster bed, mould on the fridge door seal. filthy stained bed pillows and black mould stains on the pillows also. stained curtains, toilet seat is plastic and has the top layer peeling off with yellow stains all over it, large dust webs behind the TV and in the corners of the room. The swimming pool has large patches of tiles missing near the water fountain, the sun beds some which have been replaced, others are broken with the wicker full of holes. The side tables around the pool have holes and broken wood on them, only one umbrella was a available for all the sun beds this was also very stained and in need of replacing. The pool towels were also thread bare and in need of replacing. On informing the staff, who were very apologetic, an email was sent by the receptionist to the owner who was out of the country. We have since heard nothing from the hotel.

Location, beside the monkey forest, breakfast was good
Place is filth , lots of mosquitoes and probably some rats were running between the walls. Mosquito net has a big hole and I needed to improvise with a sock to block mosquitoes to enter .

a bit old and dirty

Great location near Monkey Forest and lots of restaurants
I had to ask for the pool to be cleaned as there was a lot of green algae in it. We had a twin room which was nothing like the photos on Booking.com. Tiny balcony with no room to sit and couldn't have the doors open to make more room because of the monkeys. Pool loungers were all damaged and lots of ants. It could be a lovely place but needs more care and attention

Location is beautiful, staff is super lovely.
Unfortunately both shower and bath didn't work, we had family staying in another room so used their bathroom.

Excellent location, pool and restaurant.Nice breakfast.Basic rooms reflective of the price paid.Lovely staff.
Unkempt looking mattresses stored in stairwell on way to our room did not inspire confidence.

The location is top, next to forest and good restaurants. Not noisy. The sunset view is beautiful. Staff was very helpful. The room was big and spacious.
The bathroom should be renovated, as bath is on yellow stains from water. Used only shower.

Nice view and clean room, comfortable bed with good air con. Monkey running around in your balcony every early morning! Very good breakfast with a lot of choices, can be brought to your room. Foods at restaurant also very delicious. End up extending 1 more week staying at this hotel. Will be back next time in ubud.
Nothing.

The location is great, right next to the monkey forest so can watch from the balcony / window.
The room had really dirty sheets on arrival which i asked to be changed. (The staff did apologise and do this really quickly) However, the curtains and bedding all had rips in and were dirty. The walls were stained and peeling off, and the room was right above reception so could hear phones ringing / cleaning from 6am. The room and bathroom smelt of smoke and urine which you couldn’t get rid of as the aircon unit was away from the bathroom. The whole place is run down and not what the pictures portray at all.

the staff are always friendly and around. helping and doing more than expected. the room is always cleaned thoroughly everyday.
the monkeys! should be told before that it’s not near the monkey forest- it’s on the monkey forest! monkeys are everywhere all the time and you cannot eat outside because they steal your food. can be scary at times but there is a guard always to help you which is amazing!

The rooms were spacious at an affordable price. The room design was quite good, there was a terrace too. The location was very strategic and close to the monkey forest. It was a good view with rice field in front of the room.
Mosquito nets should be cleaned.

Location was perfect, right by Monkey Forest, great views. Staff were helpful and the room is large with TV (local channels) and AC is decent. Swimming pool is nice although needed a bit of a clean.
The main thing was the cleanliness. When we got into the room it was dirty and there isn't any excuses for this. Also, had a problem with the shower in the mornings, something to do with the pump. Bring your own soap/shampoo etc
