Lovely garden! Nice to relax in the hammock there before going on our trek into the canyon the next day. Staff were lovely.
The rooms weren’t as clean as I would have liked. They were a bit disorganised at 630 breakfast which slowed us down a bit to leave for the hike. The food wasn’t as fresh as it could be.

Unfortunately no dinner or lunch possible.

everything, spacious and very clean room, great hot shower, really nice garden to relax after the Colca trekking, super friendly host, plus: we could leave our luggage here while trekking in the canyon

Peaceful, comfortable and characterful rooms with stunning views of mountains, surrounded by countryside. Lovely garden and friendly service. Would love to have stayed longer. Perfect place to relax.

Great garden to rest. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very decent breakfasts but with instant coffee only (proper coffee is paid extra)
It gets a bit cold at night, theres no heating.

Perfect stay before going down to Sangalle (hotel is on the way, if you plan to sleep in the oasis you can leave your big bags there and go down with less weight). Garden area has amazing views (and hummingbirds as daily visitors), breakfast is decent.
A bit more expensive than other hotels in Cabanaconde, but worth it.

The casa is located at the hiking way from Sangella Oasis. It has a wonderful garden with view to the mountains. We really liked it. The room was very big and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. The owners are very friendly but did not speak English too much. The breakfast was good (bread, butter, jam, cheese, ham, eggs, coffee, juice and tea) in buffet form.
The bathroom smelled a bit, we were not sure why. Groups of hikers arrive around 8 am to get their breakfast there, so it’s recommended to have breakfast around 7 / 7:30 am.

the place has a great view to the mountains and many outside chairs/sofa/hammocks to relax in.
a lot of flies inside the room due to having cows/donkey/horses just next door.
7.0 / 10.0
The view on the impressive Colca Canyon.
The cows surrounding the hostel kept us awake for the whole night. With cows come flies so there where allot.
6.0 / 10.0
The view over the canyon, the garden.
The staff was not very present or caring. The room could have been cleaner especially the bathroom. The garden is very nice but hamoc and chairs are under trees that host many pigeons so if they don't poop on you, you're lucky. The breakfast was average.

Super nice, almost luxury like stay. One of the better hotels we’ve had in South America. Nice garden and common areas, hot shower, and close to the Colca Canyon trailheads. Tasty breakfast!
The free breakfast is tasty but the paid restaurant service is just okay, there are better options in town. Breakfast area gets very busy with day hikers finishing their hike around 8 am, so you’ll need to plan to eat breakfast early (6:30-7:30 am) as the staff recommends.

The garden was beautiful and a great place to relax if you have the time. Breakfast was also really good! We enjoyed our stay here.

Was a nice, modern and clean hostel.
There was only hot water for the showers during the day time. Shower was cold in the morning and evening.

Warm showers, very nice and peaceful location, friendly and helpful staff, especially mr Aquilino and mr Edwin. They were very flexible, even though we changed the date several times!
Comfy rooms, enough space and comfy beds.
Not much, although the breakfast was very basic. I would have liked to see more fresh fruit at the buffet!

It is a good place to stay; not overwhelming but fine. The owner is kind and had a place for luggage while we were on a trekking. Breakfast is rather simple, but then it is like that in many hotels in Peru.

good location, comfy beds.
The service and the staff are dismal and unhelpful. Although there is a big blackboard saying they serve lunch and supper, this is not true - they will only serve the big tours. An unfriendly welcome, we weren’t allowed supper, they wouldn’t even give us milk for our coffee in the morning. I’ve never given a bad review our experience was so bad here due to the staff.

Very new accomodation on the outside of Cabanaconde. The staff was very friendly and helped us to park our car securely for 2 days. We could also leave our access luggage for 2 days.

It was right next to the Colca Canyon and easy to hike from. our room was clean and comfortable. The wool blankets made it warm. The back yard was inviting. While it wasn’t furnished, we had lovely nights stargazing on the rooftop.
It is very basic- but good value. It’s what I expected. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.

The view of the Hostel is just stunning! The garden is so beautiful and great to relax. On the rooftop we watched a beautiful sunset! The breakfast and dinner were also pretty good and had vegetarian options. We would love to come back one day and stay a couple nights longer!

The property was very clean and equipped with modern appliances. We were pleasantly surprised to see that this hotel in a small town even offered hair dryers! The owner was also very friendly and helpful.
It got a little cold for us in the rooms at night so we layered up on blankets.
