The breakfast served was really good (scrambled eggs, marmalade, butter, bread rolls, tea, coffe, juice and bananas) and the owner was very lovely and helpful, we felt really at home there

We had a great stay at Las Palmeras. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We even did a tour with the owner, which took us to some incredible miradores that we missed because we arrived to Cabanaconde by collectivo.
Todo bien :)

I loved my stay here, I wish I’d stayed longer! after a long walk to Cabanaconde, arriving at this hostel to a lovely, clean room with hot tea, a hot shower and an amazing sun terrace to relax on, it was perfect.
The family there were lovely, I spent some time chatting with them and they kindly let me use their kitchen to make some pasta.
The room was quiet and secure, getting a full night’s rest and then a lovely breakfast of bread, jams, teas and juices (plus more on offer) was just perfect.
best place to stay in Cabanaconde and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
thank you!

Many thanks for wonderful hospitality to the whole family! :)

We had such a pleasant stay here. The women who welcomed us was so lovely. When we arrived we got welcome tea. We could leave our backpacks in the storage during our hike in the Colca Canyon. We also got bamboo walking sticks (we were'nt that well prepared for the hike) and an umbrella when we went into town during the rain. The son of the owner could speak english. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortabel, and the breakfast was good. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best breakfasts we have had on our travels. The staff are really helpful on planning your hike. The showers are good and they also offer dinner.
The WiFi was not great, the TV had netflix but we couldn't use because the WiFi was too weak

Manfred is a nice host. We could leave our baggage there for our two day hike through the Colca Canyon and also could hang out in his nice beautiful yard. The garden is really sweet.
He also offered us a really nice local lunch prepared by his family after we head off.
He just massed up our reservation and we did not get the room we booked and had to take a lower priced one.

what a fantastic place! And the owner is making it even better, with a roof terrace / restaurant opening later this year. nice garden, clean and comfortable rooms and private bathroom, tasteful breakfast, free tea, friendly and helpful staff! Advise this place over the more expensive, crowded and less comfortable hostels in Cabanaconde.

Super cute hostel, nice comfortable rooms, hot water in the shower. Good breakfast (bread, butter and jam, tea and coffee, juice, eggs, banane with chocolate sauce!). Best owner ever (and his super cute family!), really nice, speaks English very well and answered all our question about trekking in the canyon. Nice garden and terrasse to relax.
They lended us dish and gave us hot water so we could do our own meal when we didn't wanted to eat at the restaurant.

This was a lovely green oasis in a dusty town. Manfred was very kind and the garden and top terrace was beautiful. On arrival dinner was arranged for us. After a long bus ride the newly renovated rooms were also a treat.

The hosts are very friendly people who are willing to help and even cooked a nice meal for us. The breakfast is big and very tasty, as well as the dinner. The rooms are spacious with a very nice bathroom. If you are going for a hike and sleep somewhere else you can leave your bags without any problem.
Nothing, everything was amazing.

The owner is the most helpfull and kind man. Arranged several taxicabs and walking sticks for us, we could also leave our bagage at the hostel, with his help we had a perfect hike.

the family that runs the hotel is amazing. they are all so sweet and helpful with planning our trip into colca and also for bus information.
they cooked breakfast and offer homemade dinner, which is great because the town is minimal :)
it has a beautiful center garden patio area with hammocks and lounging areas that they are more than happy to have you relax in after your colca trek even if you aren’t staying another night.
