Very clean, good location
Bikes available which was a bonus
Host very helpful
All the cleaning products were there on arrival as was a bottle of wine and water
Would be nice to have chairs inside or a small couch in the kitchen. it was windy in the evenings so we couldn't sit outside

The pictures don’t do this place justice. A great location and size of accommodation is much larger in person. Would 100% recommend staying.

comfortable, well equipped, convenient location, nice owners, easy communication

First, the location is good, only 15 minutes walking to Cascais city centre. When I read the reviews some people complained about noise and the size of the place...that is definitely something that I need to disagree. The only "noise" you can hear is the birds outside which give the place a feeling of peace, the garden is also really nice (my boyfriend was jealous)...I image that it will be nice to have breakfast outside during summer. The place was comfortable and big in my opinion (for who live in Ireland, it was definitely a good side for a couple) - I love the idea of 2 sinks and 2 showers. I would definitely came back and consider to stay again when I go back to Cascais.
The only thing we can mention is the front door. It looks like it needs some adjustments...it's difficult to open. We were afraid when arrived one of the nights really late to be unable to open it. Also, it's not a complain...it's a tip: if you have more options of tea and coffee would be great...(Irish people specially would appreciate it - tea lovers). It's a small threat that does not cost much and people would appreciate. :)

The apartment is self-contained although there are others staying on the site; it's location in relation to the centre of Cascais is very good. Luis was very helpful
One or minor things seemed a bit "end of season" - the garden chairs for example. The access within the grounds is either by a fairly steep slope or stairs which was fine for us, but others may have struggled.

The apartment has all you need and there is only 15 min walk to the town (Cascais).

Quiet and spacious location within walking distance to the beach. Many thanks to Luis for his help. Recommend it.

Friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment is well equipped, immaculate and has a lovely outdoor seating area.
Hosts provided cycles which we used to cycle up the coast which was great.
Supermarket close by for provisions.
It didn't bother us but the location is uphill from the beaches and main town. However, we got a taxi from the train station when we arrived which was only 5euros.

The hosts were so kind and responsive throughout my stay. They thoughtfully provided sunscreen, beach bags, and more. WiFi was great for Zoom calls. Also, the apartment was extremely clean.
The apartment was a bit small for my personal comfort. I work from home and there was not a great work area for doing more than occasional light work. The apartment is nice for people vacationing to the beach and planning to be out all day, but it was too small for me to live in. This is not the hosts’ fault. They were so lovely. Next time I will know to rent a bigger space if I have work to do.

Luis was kind, efficient and accommodating.
The location is perfect for a family holiday.
The provision of a double shower was also very much appreciated. Thank you.
The steep access hill could be a problem for some.

Great flexible check in and check out. Quiet with all necessities, renovated granny flat.

Luis, the person who manages the apartment is awesome and very helpful! What a great guy, always available, made our stay much more enjoyable. Also a nice, friendly neighbor. Very convenient location (Old Town just a short drive and great grocery store (Auchon) just a couple of minutes away. Reasonable price.
Next to a VERY loud, busy street, can clearly hear cars. It felt like a basement apartment. Very cold (prob not an issue in Summer). Hot water in shower runs out after 4 minutes, which is not suitable if two people would like to shower, one after the other. Also we felt it was a little misleading that there were no photos of the bedrooms for the basement apartment. The bedrooms were not so nice, and the mattress in the single queen room was awful, super hard. Since all photos are displayed as one, and there are no indications for which apartment the photo corresponds, it is difficult to know which apartment you are booking. Also no cushions for the two long chairs on the terrace, so couldn't use....

A lovely, clean and bright space. Luis was very friendly and helpful. It's close to the train station and only a 15-20 min walk from the old town.

Helpfullness when we arrived, nice little touches i.e water wine and beer in fridge and breakfast basket. Surroundings good and just a 20min walk to the sea front and bars and shops. Found a great authentic eatery 5 mins from apartment on our ladt night called Ginginha Transmontana, fabulous place.
Lack of crockery for 4 persons, noise from main road as unable to reach high windows to close. Rooms need rearranging as single beds need to be in smaller room and double in bigger room.

The proximity to the centre of Cascais was good (10-15 mins walk) and very near to a local neighbourhood with good Portugese restaurants/cafes/supermarket. Good kitchen facilities, firm bed, good powerful shower and nice outdoor area to relax and enjoy sunshine AM and early evening. Although there were other guests around it seemed very private and the most noise (but fine) came from the small birds in the aviary next door which made sure you didn't sleep in!
Road noise (from main road rather than the road) was a negative so we usually shut the windows at night and used air conditioning. Not prohibitive to staying there at all and you didn't really notice it too much after a while.

The location could be satisfactory for summer time.
The owners have several apartments in their house. The apartment that they gave us did not have any heating and thus, in november, the interior temperature was 17 degrees celsius. We have 2 small children and the low temperature was a big issue for us. We moved to a new location the second day after checking in even if we were suposed to stay there 4 nights. The owners gave us back the money for 3 nights even if I believe that it was their fault to rent an apartment in these conditions. The normal behavior from their part should have been to inform us in advance and cancel the reservation & reimburse us fully in this way. It would have been better if we would have had the chance to find another place before. If they don't have the minimal conditions they should not rent.
Second bad thing was that the property is located near to a busy street and the cars are speeding and making noise during the night.
