Hansie is a fantastic host and made me feel right at home in Coffee Bay. Property is close walking distance everything worth visiting and offered gated parking. My room had all necessary amenities (even light & gas during load shedding) and a fantastic ocean view.

I loved the view and the Braai area. The view is stunning! I like the Braai area. A Braai with a view.
Would help if there is a sign where the place is. No signs. I passed the place even with direction. I sign would definitely help to locate the place.

The area is beautiful in general but the location that we stayed in was not,
very different picture painted on the website, the place is in dire need of an upgrade. The gate behind which your car is, kept should be motorized, in the description of Eagles Nest there should be a better description of the actual accommodation, whilst in might be appealing to an overseas tourist as South African, we know the risks of living in South Africa and this place is deep rural.

Great view and staff and owner really made us feel welcome. Effort was made to accomodate our needs. Solar power for backup was great and security cameras enhanced safety of guests.

I liked the view I got to the beach and the surroundings. The artistry in the snooker and braai room. That was very touchy!
Cleanliness, the place is so dusty and it causes discomfort when there's a stormy weather. Roof leaks and unfitted broken windows.

Amazing people, amazing view, it was perfect, I absolutely loved my stay there!
The staff was super friendly, the place is beautiful and artsy, incredibly located with view on the sea.
Wish I could have stayed longer, would love to come again!

We loved the location, people and accommodation, the staff was very friendly, helpful and it was clean and tidy!
The road to the accommodation was hell, 45km of potholes, it was very stressful!

The hosts were very much warm& welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure that I'm comfortable. Were always willing to assist whenever I needed anything. I gained a friend in Colleen the hostess
A electric gate will be an added bonus to ensure safety for drivers.

It's very beautiful at coffee bay and everyone is very friendly at the hostel
Going there with kids is a nightmare. I think the guys from eagles nest should make sure to put people with small kids in a private room. It was very inconvenient keeping my kids quiet the whole time.we left after just 3 days

The location was superb. There was a fantastic sea view and the accommodation was a very quick walk to the beach and all other amenities. The location was truly ideal.
The owners/hosts at the hostel were super friendly and very accommodating. They always checked in without being invasive and they helped with every request. They were friendly and very helpful.
I also enjoyed the option to relax in the common area as well as in our bedroom. The entire holiday was incredibly relaxing and very enjoyable.
There was very little that we didn’t like - the only thing would maybe be the cleanliness of the common area living room. The couches felt quite dirty and leaked on. I didn’t mind an awful lot because I liked the rustic feel of the place - that was part of the charm!

the view is amazing, the bungalow was spacious and well organized, Paul was a great host , showing us around, chatting about life and whatever comes up, giving us tips for the area, etc; the dog and the cats at the location were a lovely bonus to a short but excellent stay!
there is nothing to be mentioned here

I loved the hospitality of the staff and owners. Other guests were also friendly. The facility made us fire for braai which was cool to me, all we did we put our meat on ready fire.
Not that I completely didn't like it is just that I am afraid of dogs when they bark even if they don't bite. However they really tried to control them so it was not that much of a big deal. Dogs did not spoil my stay.
The water was cold in the shower, most probably we did not wait enough for hot water so I don't want to blame the facility.
