Noise from road outside window.

Der Preis, die Lage wegen des Tank Museum , das Frühstück und die beiden freundlichen Damen
Es gab keine Haken im Zimmer um etwas aufzuhängen

Breakfast ( vegan ) was 100% 💚💚
Bathroom was tiny. But functional
4.1
Breakfast was very good and the evening meals in the Restaurant were excellent with generous portions. Also loved the history of the place.
Perhaps a small Fridge in the room.
4.1
Easy to find and helpful staff
Breakfast in the morning was not good. Very greasy mushrooms which were inedible and limited choice
4.1
Full English Breakfast. Scranbled Egg and Mushrooms on Toast on my last day. Good TV set.
Menu was ambiguous re Toast. One full slice was on the plate of the Full English rather than being separate for butter and marmalade - I had to order another slice for that. After the first day I ordered two slices for buttering then Full English No Toast. I blocked the small toilet 3 times, No toilet brush provided.

The hotel was very welcoming with a wonderful ambience. Food was excellent and the staff very helpful.
Restricted parking but easy to find reasonably priced parking nearby.

Very friendly welcome, and was immediately given my packed meal for the morning as I was leaving early. The building is lovely and old (16th C) with thick stone walls (so no noise from neighbours). Room was clean and comfortable and very homely, with a window looking out onto the street. Let myself out early the following morning. Lovely place to stay and a short walk to the river with its nice pubs.

I liked the friendly staff and the old building was fascinating.

Absolutely wonderful, welcoming and efficient staff. Nice food. We had a fussy eater with us and they accommodated his needs brilliantly. The other guests were all friendly and the place had a lovely armosphere.

I liked everything about my stay was great the breakfast the staff were outstanding
Only thing was that the bed wasn't very comfortable
4.1
Staff were welcoming and bed comfy. The room felt inviting and it was lovely and warm on arrival. The building is dripping in history and perfectly located to explore Hardy country.
The room was a touch frayed around the edges and the water pressure seemed to be a bit of an issue, making flushing the loo a lottery at times. Strange as the shower will knock your socks off.....

Breakfast was good, and served by friendly lady. Room clean and adequately equipped.
Initial welcome was a bit perfunctory. Room a bit noisy, and bed not very comfortable.

nice and friendly
parking wasn’t that good

good location in the town & generally clean. The breakfast is good & staff friendly.
some of the fittings in Room 5 were broken & needed fixing - e.g. towel rail & rickety wardrobe.

Lovely character hotel, comfy rooms, good service, amazing breakfast, and great location close to various pubs, shops and river walks.
4.1
The location. Right in the centre of Wareham.
Freindly and accomodating staff
The room and ensuite were very tired looking. In need of an update.
4.1
Located in the centre of Wareham so very convenient. Looks attractive from the outside.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely friendly.
The room was clean and bed comfortable but small and the bathroom tiny. Bathroom very tired and old-fashioned. Grouting looked a bit mouldy and fittings screwed with rusty screws, also cracking on shower pan and exposed pipe work around the toilet. Shower either cold or scalding hot. Toilet had noisy macerator fitted. Not really fit for purpose. Sign in bathroom said there was a non-slip shower mat in the wardrobe, however there was no wardrobe in the room! Small step outside the bedroom door needed some sort of warning as we both kept tripping down it.
All things considered, with bad weather included, we decided to leave a day early.

it is a very old and charming property. The room was very comfy with tea and coffee with a selection of biscuits.

The family room (Lawrence's room) was quirky and a lovely period feature room with exposed beams and angled ceilings (mind your head) Comfy bed, plenty if storage. Great location in the town.
If being picky, the shower was a bit small, but there is a lovely bath too.

Lovely old inn, plenty of character
I paid £13 for a can of Guinness and a double whiskey.

A lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Rooms were perfect. breakfast was fantastic.
