Emplacement idéal à Ipanema

Personnel très sympathique et très nombreux Localisation idéale, à deux pas de la plage !

1 seule salle de bain pour 12 personnes c’est très peu ! Parfois manque de communication entre le staff pour les activités proposées

O Rio de Janeiro é incrível!

Gostei da localização, acesso a praia e transporte público. Também acesso fácil a mercados, farmácias, restaurantes e padarias. No próprio hostel existe um restaurante/bar que é possível tomar café, almoçar e confraternizar com amigos.

Achei que a ventilação do quarto muito limitada. O ar condicionado só pode ser usado entre 21h às 9h, fora desse período, é difícil contar apenas com um ventilador dentro do quarto com janelas fechadas. Poderiam organizar o quarto para que a janela possa iluminar e ventilar o dormitório durante o dia.

Ideally located but pricy with the worst bed and a dirty kitchen

Great location, helpful staff

Not many places to chill except the rooftop which close at 23:00. AC was blasting in the room was bloody cold in there. The bed was probably the worst I have ever had, mattress/pillow not confortable at all. Only one bathroom for 12 people, so I get really busy on the morning/evening. Kitchen was really dirty.

Friendly, fun, engaging hostel environment close to the beach

This hostel was in a fantastic location just a block walk from the beach and they even give you a free day of umbrellas and chairs on the beach. They have an event manager who is super friendly and keeps everyone aprised of all the activities in the hostel and organizes taxis and people so everyone is included. My friend and I booked a private room which was really nice. It had 4 bunk beds and we booked it as a 2 person private. It would have been quite crowded with 4 people as the room and the bathroom were quite small, but it was fine with just 2 of us. The hostel bar and restaurant is nice and the food is good. All of the staff are incredibly kind and friendly.

Poor sleep experience

Very friendly and helpful staff and offer lots of things and extras specially for solo travellers. Great location and good prices.

The rooms could be a bit bigger and the beds a bit comfier. However Biggest issue with my stay and maybe just unlucky - was very late check in of a large group around midnight to 1am and with very little consideration for people sleeping in the room. I felt could have been more effort by staff to tell them to be very quiet when coming into the room. Very disruptive and same again when they checked out before 7am and woke everyone up with selfish behaviour. Also the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest in the room.

Good but could be better

Restaurante, localização e boa interação com outros viajantes

Infelizmente a cama de cima fazia muito barulho quando a pessoa se mexia, que eu ate cogitei em mudar de cama no meio da noite. O pior pra mim foi o chuveiro, tem que apertar toda hora, isso foi um encomodo muito grande. Poucos banheiros para muita gente.

Minha passagem pelo Rio durou apenas 3 dias, o El misti fez tudo o que pôde para que essa viagem fosse a melhor da minha

Gostei da organização dos quartos, achei que fica com um bom espaço de circulação, mesmo em um quarto com 12 camas, gostei do tamanho dos armários disponibilizados a cada um. Gostei da temperatura do ar condicionado, não me atrapalhou nenhuma das noites. Achei o banheiro muito bonito e com um espaço bom e gostei das cortinas em cada cama, o que dá um pouco mais de privacidade. O pessoal do hotel é fenomenal, todos dispostos a te ajudar e trocar com você, seja conselhos e dicas, ou experiências de vida. O hotel é muito leve é isso cria um ambiente ainda melhor para que criemos conexões entre os hóspedes. Uma experiência muito boa!

Acho que o hotel poderia ter uma lavanderia, mas seria mais uma sugestão para ficar ainda melhor. A falta disso não atrapalha muito a experiência porque tem uma lavanderia bem perto, mas seria só isso.

Buenas instalaciones.

La atención. Siempre fueron bien atentos me guiaron en todo. Muy buena ubicación, fácil de llegar tiene un bar muy bueno.

Sugiero que tengan servicio de lavandería y tambien el ventilador de mi habitacion estaban en mal estado.

Melhorando cada vez mais!

Sempre quando me hospedo no El Misti, a experiência e a qualidade dos serviços superam das estadias anteriores. A equipe sempre muito atenciosa e disposta a ajudar seus hóspedes, o fato de terem colocado cortinas e luminárias nas beliches melhorou e muito no quesito privacidade e conforto, o banheiro sempre estava limpo, o zelo e cuidado com os ambientes é bem evidente e o clima como sempre é muito agradável, um local propício para fazer muitas amizades e registrar momentos memoráveis! Acertaram em cheio de terem começado a oferecer almoço (pago à parte), que quebrou um galho enorme nesta última vez que me hospedei, super recomendo!

A única coisa que precisa ser feita é trocar os ventiladores dos quartos, no quarto que fiquei (217) o ventilador estava muito fraco e o regulador de velocidade não funcionava direito.

Lugar perfeito para quem viaja sozinho ou quer conhecer pessoas

Extremamaente bem localizado, menos de 5 minutos do posto 9, melhor locl da praia de Ipanema. Tem Mc Donalds 24h perto, muitas farmacias, padaria, mercado.... além de ter uma estação de bicicleta e de metrô bem pertinho. A localização não poderia ser melhor. A barraca 86 e a parceria com o hostel também é perfeito, os preços são bem em conta. O atendimento é muito bom, o bar//restaurante tem muitas opções e a interação entre hóspedes é muito boa também. O quarto é pequeno mas confortável;

O banheiro podia ser limpo com mais frequência ao dia, e realizar a troca do tapete e reposição dos rolos higiênicos. Também poderia ter um espaço reservado para pendurar e secar as roupas. A temperatura do chuveiro é confusa, às vezes no meio do banho frio a água muda para extremamente quente, e vice e versa.

I took a private room so the level of comfort was high. I like that it was easy to connect with other travelers - the whatsapp group is helpful. The hostel is in excellent location.

Good hostel near Ipanema Beach

The hostel is in a great location - less than a five minute walk from ipanema beach and close to loads of shops. The area around the hostel also felt super safe. The showers were hot and the food at the bar was decent. There is also an area on the rooftop for people to chill and there’s also a kitchen up there.

The room was very cramped. We stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm that really should have been a 4-6 bed dorm for the size. Because the beds were so close together you couldn’t access all of the lockers under the beds.

Galeera do staff super gente boa , localização excelente.

A única coisa que não gostei, não tem a opção de vc acordar e tomar um simples cafezinho , obrigando ao hospede a fechar o combo do café da manhã, eu não como nada pela manhã, tinha q sair e tomar o cafezinho na rua . Sendo q eles tem uma cafeteira gigante e não pode tomar apenas um cafezinho , nem pagando pelo café tomado .

Ubicación increíble

La ubicación es sin duda lo mejor de este hospedaje. Los cuartos privados que es donde me quede yo son pequeños y sin mucha iluminación pero con la ubicación se compensa todo. Igual como buen hostel, hay muchos planes puedes conocer gente, ir a la playa acompañados y super.

No me encanto que las regaderas sean de boton

Os quartos são muito bem limpos, os funcionários são excepcionais (em especial a Marcela, maravilhosa), a localização é PERFEITA. Além do quarto ficar bem climatizado, o q nesse calor do RJ é essencial

If you are looking for the best hostel in Rio, stop right here you just found it!

I loved it so much I booked 2 additional nights because I didn’t want to leave this place! You might already know the standard information like the location, comfortable beds or clean bathrooms … but let me tell you what will make your trip unforgettable: - The staff - the most amazing team you’ll meet who will become your friends for (at least) a few days - The activities - between the guided hikes, surf classes, the free shots, beer pongs and the night life in general. Not only you can easily and safely visit the best spots in Rio but you can party like a Carioca with this hostel - The people - with all the activities mentioned before, you can be certain to meet your new best friends, even if they are not in your bedroom. And on top, they could be from anywhere in world!

Sorry, what? 😅 Absolutely nothing.

A great value stay in a great location with even better staff!

The hostel was confidently located and the vibe was likely & fun. the staff were also incredible — they provided a welcome tour, set me up with things to do, and were very accommodating when I asked for a late check out so I could spend some more time exploring the city. I was traveling solo in Rio for the weekend and did a ton of hiking and sight seeing. This a great value stay for solo travelers, that’s in a safe locale, but also close to the big attractions in Rio.

Social hostel in Ipanema

Social vibe, one block from the beach, and great location in Ipanema. Also actually had 24/7 front desk and offered some social activities (that we had to pay for and get to ourselves but were fun)

Lots of people stuffed into a small space + the bathrooms in the room sounds nice until you realize 8 people all only have access to this one shower/toilet and the staff were nice but seemed more concerned with hanging with each other than creating a vibe/space for the guests
