The location was excellent- could walk into town. The living room/ kitchen a good social area. The double bed on the ground floor was comfortable. Plenty of warm water for showers. Excellent base for a group of young friends.
I realise now I’m too old for a town house! Too many trips up and down stairs for me- my bedroom on ground and kitchen etc. on second floor

Close to attractions and city centre
En-suite shower head needed securing. The bathrooms need updating & decorating. Some walls need painting. Did not like the notices saying things were not the cleaners job. Could have worded them different. Property very difficult to find. Directions need to state to take the turning down by the computer repair shop.

It was a great location & there was plenty of space in the house for all of us.
The bathrooms need replacing. The property was very worn & tired & needs some TLC although the living room & kitchen were nice. A curtain pole fell out in the middle of the night & the windows & frames in the bedroom clearly had not been cleaned for a very long time.

The living space was perfect for a group of friends
There was a smell of smoke in both the double rooms. Real shame that visitors clearly failed to follow the rules of no smoking in the apartment.

The situation was perfect for us. Close to relatives and to the town centre. The ouse was clean and all things catered for, even down to salt and vinegar for the fish and chips!!

Requirements to provide ID and the numerous terms and conditions to be complied with were not apparent on the booking.com listing.
People booking this property should be aware that they will be required to provide ID in order to retain their booking, and that they will receive numerous emails regarding various things, e.g. that they will be subject to additional charges if more beds are slept in than the number of people you have booked for.
People booking should also be aware that they will also be required to pre-authorise £250 on their credit card shortly before arrival in order to retain their booking.

The place was big enough and confortable enough, sadly only one double bed was available and we were two couples traveling together, also would have been nice to get a later check out in weekends at 11 and not at 10
I did recieve a message on booking app to pay a deposit for cleaning, but it did not arrived it on my emai( the one comunication way I selected)l, so on the day of arrival I needed to call the host to find out on how to get tge code for the key lock, it was not straight foward to do tge deposit from the message in the booking app

Good location which is close to the Lake District as well as grocery stores
the apartment had a smell of smoke which was really uncomfortable and made it difficult to go to sleep because the smell was quite strong, they tried to hide the smell with air fresheners but that just made a really odd smell. the bathrooms need updating, didn’t really feel comfortable washing or using the toilet as one of the toilets had a stain on the toilet seat. i wouldn’t return here in the future

the upstairs lounge and kitchen was really cosy and had had everything we needed. An excellent location so close to town and Sainsbury’s.
There were a lot of rules and instructions which I understand protects the owners but it put me on edge a little.

Great location with Carlisle Centre a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride away, modern style property with good catering facilities although we ate out during our stay. Good little chippy round the corner and great restaurants in town! Slept well as the house is tucked away in a quiet corner and the beds were comfy. Great parking space and good communication with owners. Thank you!

Very good size apartment, lots of space, close enough to centre, cheap taxi to and from centre and only about a 15 min walk. Nice residential quiet area, owners were quick to answer any queries
When In the shower if the tap was turned on the shower would go too hot, except from that everything was perfect

We were only given towels for 4 people when we had 5 in the group. There was a funny smell in the ground floor en suite.

Perfect for 6 adults - has 6 comfortable beds, well stocked with linen bedding towels and the kitchen equipments . Very close to a big Sainsbury.
Kitchen and the utensils weren’t t very clean and throughout the property there was a type of musty smell that wasn’t very pleasant.

location was good in the town, parking outside, seemed secure enough, generally clean and ok
Property in general was ok, the bathrooms are in need of attention, grout and sealants going black (mould i think) in both bathrooms, lounge was not great for relaxing in, the sofas were ok but not what you would call comfortable and being 2 x 2 seaters not the best for 2 adult men to sit side by side, but we were aware of that from pictures. blinds not great at front and during the day the bottom back bedroom the master was dark. a bit of road noise around at rear or maybe factory noise as quite close to Mcvites.

Hob faulty wouldn’t turn off did inform the recipients if l had an concerns. Was unnerving at the first as property was unlocked as arrived. Then the next morning I got a code for key code box. Once in property I felt safe

There was a lot of tooing and throwing with uncertainty I know we're in a pandemic but I had to message alot. All the important details just knock up a sketch and copy and paste everything. With deposit etc I was unsure at one point you were going to let me stay as I think I'd exchanged around 10 MSG's I work away alot and usually it's just 3. This would give the customer a much better experience apart from that I had a fantastic stay and got to visit Penrith! Thank you soo much for having me and I hope to be back soon!!
