nichts, alles sehr gut.

The cottage was beautifully decorated with comfy sofas and chairs. It was equipped with anything you needed to be a home away from home. It was lovely and clean aswell. There was a detailed and well thought out info pack which was really helpful.
The grounds were beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. I would definitely like to come back and stay for longer.

The location was great for us, as it was located in middle of several areas we wanted to visit.
The cottage was cute and just enough space for a family of four. The kitchen had everything you need right to the fairy liquid and tea towels. The games room was a big bonus and although run down, the kids didn't care and had fun. Beds were comfy and cottage was clean.
Unfortunately there was no Wi-Fi, which proved difficult with a teenager and one husband that wanted to check his work emails. Also the hot water had a time limited which we didn't realized it shut off at 9pm which was tricky as often didn't get home until late evening. There was a booster switch which is listed in the guest booklet. Also the faux leather dinning chairs were peeling and was rather unappealing. Maybe wooden chairs would of been better due to the wear and tear of guests coming in and out of the cottage.

Locatie, houtkachel, keuken faciliteiten, handdoeken
Klein en niet zo comfortabel 1 persoonsbed, woonkamer iets wat krap.

Nice cottage, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and shower, clean bedding, ample kitchen ware and appliances, cottage was central to where we wanted to be. Well kept gardens and drive.
Shattered and broken glass on external door. Wasn’t made aware of before we arrived. No reduction offered or refund to find alternative accommodation. Told repairs couldn’t be done until after our stay. No welcome pack eg milk. Coffee provided was solid in the container. Freezer in fridge desperately needed defrosting. Excessive air fresheners in all rooms. Key fob could have been put near the door not on the eaves. Clean towels but really rough. Nice cottage but shame about the attention to basics.

It was in a scenic location, it was quiet and had a lovely atmosphere, it was in a great location to access different areas of Cornwall without having to do long treks.
The double bed mattress was too hard and difficult to sleep on. Although basic necessities were provided I.e most kitchen appliances, there wasn’t any cutlery or knifes, so we had to go out and purchase some - would of been nice to have been made aware that these 2 things wouldn’t of been provided so we could bring some with us.

The location was beautiful and the hosts provided excellent instructions to find it. We didn't meet the hosts although they were very responsive to our online questions.
Ants in the living area. No WiFi.

Upon arrival and entering the cottage, it was warm. After travelling all day and stopping at various places, it was really nice to get there and finding the cottage warm, was just a lovely welcome.
There was no dishwashing liquid, shampoo and conditioner, insufficient bin bags.
4.2
Fabulous location very quiet.
A tiny bit too far for shopping or visiting villages on foot.
Definitely need transport.

It was very quiet.the dawn choruses were lovely
The lane, but just drove slowly and got used to it
No spare loo roll

We loved the cottage entirely. It was cosy and suitable for our family needs. All the amenities were well thought of. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were super comfy! Bedroom furniture was excellent and really allowed us to be home away from home. One of the highlights were that the children loved it, and for us, that sealed it. They loved the games room and we played amazing ping-pong! Ha! We had an amazing stay and will definitely consider coming again if it's available. Gracious hostess, everything was just amazing 👏🏾
There wasn't anything important that we didn't like.

We have stayed here a few times now, always in the winter and mainly in January. This makes the location beautifully quiet which is exactly what we are after.
The cottage is comfortable, clean, and cosy.
Not really a dislike, but WiFi would be good.
4.2
Lovely cottage nicely decorated with everything you needed.
It was a nightmare to drive down the lanes especially at night as the roads are very narrow. The cottage has a damp problem in the main bedroom. Damp on the walls with black mould and black mould on the curtains in the main bedroom. Which are very close to the bed. I have taken pictures of the mould and curtains. Not good if you suffer with your chest like myself.

A very nice cottage with ample of room. Beautiful surrounding area. Nice lounge and kitchen. There is a patio set which can be used in warmer weather. This cottage would definitely suit a couple or a family in the summer months.
The lanes leading to the cottage are far from ideal. They are very narrow and were flooded when we got there. Not very well lit. I'd definitely do further research on the area prior to booking, especially in the colder/ wet weather. Not a lot of things to do nearby. Camelford is around a 7 minute drive away however the shops don't appear to open very long. You need to be willing to drive long distances to do anything. In regards to the cottage, there is some damp in the main bedroom and the key safe is quite high up so it is awkward to make sure the numbers on the lock are in line. The games room was open however balls were missing from the pool table so this could not be used.

We loved how cosy the cottage was, with a fabulous log burner. It was lovely to watch the rabbits and tree creepers out of the window. The bedrooms were comfortable, the shower was amazing and the facilities were great in the kichen. The location was very handy for travelling around Cornwall.
That there was no wifi.

We liked the setting and quiet
4.2
This cottage is set in the most Cornish setting. With its superb surroundings and grounds.
The location is good for touring North Cornwall and venturing further south.
4.2
The location is beautiful and very peaceful, the kitchen has all amenities and the cottage is very comfortable.
We had requested travel cot but this was not set-up so we had to find and do ourselves, we had no hot water for showers one morning despite the fact neither of us using hot water that morning. I also felt considering the cost for 3 nights the hospitality is below par - i.e. no tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, oil on the kitchen so you need to bring everything needed to cook. Also no Wifi! I don't event think to check something like this...
4.2
peaceful and warm with heaters and log burner if you wanted.
Plenty of kitchen equipment but not much room to wash up or cook.
No welcome pack. Not even a tea bag or sachets of sugar or coffee after long journey. No dish cloth and only one thin toilet roll for 5 days. Very difficult to move around bed as an old pine bulky design with big frame. Hall blind didn't close or open. Seemed to smell of wet dogs when we arrived..
4.2
Location, peace, lovely gardens.
4.2
Location was fantastic for exploring, the games field was brilliant for our two small children & for sitting in the sunshine. Cottage was great for a short stay.
The property smelt very musty this included the bedding & especially the towels. There was food and bits under the sofa which we had to clean due to having small children. A lot of the cutlery and several kitchen items required cleaning & the freezer wouldn’t close due to needing defrosting. A deep clean would have been good.
We could not see a welcome information book anywhere..

great quiet peaceful location
could have been cleaner, unfortunately there were a few things that could have been better.

It’s really peaceful… beautiful surroundings

Lovely, fresh clean cottage set in a lovely well kept setting. Loved the log fire - big winner for me! Peaceful location and not too far from attractions like tintagel castle and Bodmin jail!
It was great having access to cleaning materials however that meant very little space for shopping. With having cleaning materials in floor level cupboards I would suggest child locks - didn’t affect us but if we had taken kiddies I would of worried about it!
4.2
Nicely decorated, good location. Warm and cosy if a little tight for 4 people. Generally good but little details let down what could have been a really lovely experience.
Beds uncomfortably hard; mattresses really not expensive these days. Not cleaned terribly well prior to arrival. One half-used toilet roll which had clearly sat in a puddle at one stage all that was available. No logs even for a first night. If this was made clear we could have at least arrived prepared.
I did enquire about logs in advance but message not responded to.
4.2
We enjoyed the quietness of the location but the property was also close to a major road giving access to many towns and beaches
There was nothing to dislike!
4.2
A lovely cottage with everything you could think of supplied. Very clean and in an amazing location.
Nothing
4.2
Location set out in country lane set within nice grounds, lots of immediate walking from the cottage, ideal place for dogs and walkers.
It was very cold and unwelcoming on arrival, dark inside, even in the sunlight. Front door full of cobwebs and dirty, patio furniture all folded up, no basic coffee, milk ect, had to head out again to find essentials just to make a drink . Appreciate it was a old place, but damp in bedrooms on the skirting boards, cobwebs and dust along the skirting, especially in the main bedroom next to the bed and lots of air fresheners masking the smells, didn’t really create a lovely environment to stay in.
4.2
Peaceful surroundings relaxing place
Clean tidy
No internet but not a problem

This is the forth time we have stayed and it is the most perfect little hideaway ….. so quiet and peaceful and safe for the children
Absolutely nothing
