Lovely, luxurious cottage. Very comfortable in space, layout, facilities, location is perfect, can't fault it really. Really enjoyed the character of the building, the tailor made window seats and the music corner.

beautiful place - warm and welcoming. The old hay loft has been renovated to a high standard.
There are steep steps on the interior of the Hay loft but if you are mobile you’ll be fine.

Beautiful place and beautifully fitted out. Felt instantly comfortable.
Hadn't realised the two downstairs bedrooms were linked. Didn't matter at all for us but could have been awkward in a group of friends.

No breakfast so not applicable. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. Delightful and expensive shower gel provided. I hope they are able to continue offering this and no one steals the large containers.

The cottages were absolutely lovely and had all the facilities we could have asked for. The living space at the Owl's Roost had plenty room for our whole group of 10 to relax. The warm decor was great to come back to after a day of hiking. And the friendly cat was the cherry one top!
It's not a big deal but the locks on the doors (not the keys) were a bit difficult to turn.

The hosts came to speak to us shortly after arrival which made for a lovely welcome. They gave us a very generous Welcome Pack too and there was a list of other things like BBQ etc we coukd borrow if we wanted to. Saw them on and off over the week and they were very friendly.
We stayed at The Stable Lad's Cottage which had a very bright lounge but not quite the views we hoped for. However, everything else more than made up for it.

Location was great-private and surrounded by lovely countryside but local facilities close by and a good spot to access activites
Several steps up from the kitchen to access the private decking. One of our party was elderly and felt that a handrail at the first steps from the kitchen would have been helpful .

Everything about our stay at Glanhenwye was amazing - we couldn't have wished for better accommodation. Julie and Nick made us very welcome, were on hand to help with any questions and even offered us fresh plums from the tree in their garden. Seeing the 'Clean and Safe' system when booking immediately put us at ease; we knew there would be extremely high standards of hygiene in place. The Hay Loft was perfect for our immediate family group mixing superb spacious communal areas with ultra cosy private bedrooms. Despite being so close to so many amenities and outdoor activities, we could happily have stayed put all week in any weather. As things move forward with Covid-19 still circulating, we need places like this to lead the way to provide safe, clean accommodation and encourage responsible trips away from home.
