close to the track
you could exit the door to the outside terrace but the key wouldn’t allow you to enter your room

We really liked the design of the hotel. How clean and how big it was.
The bed was amazingly comfortable and everything is updated such as the TV. It was a good location due to where we had planned to go for the day as it was close by. Parking area was easy and was a breeze to get our room key.
Easy to navigate the building too
The carpets were a bit smelly but that inevitable and hard to maintain. There was no available floor mat for the bathroom to avoid slipping when stepping out of the shower.
We were hoping to find a flyer on the history of the building and couldn't find one.
3.5
The charm of the building. Proximity to Mt Panorama.
Bugs kept on dropping from the light/roof.
1.0
The location. Very close to the Mt Panorama racing circuit, about 400 metres to the main entrance.
Access signage to find the room was non existant. It 10 minutes to work out the layout of the buildings.
The hot water ran out.
There was a sewerage smell coming from the ensuite floor waste. I had to pour water down the waste each day to stop the smell indicating a plumbing problem.
Several sections of the window in the room were stuck shut and could not be openned limiting natural ventilation.
Finally the property added a 2.5% (Visa card) credit card surcharge not mentioned in the advertised price through booking dot com. This is the first time this has happened anywhere in Australia using booking dot com (or any of the many other countries I have used Booking dot com in).

Usual type of accomodation in an old convent. Done up well to make lovely presented rooms.
All the lighting is sensory and kept going of. We had trouble getting it to come back on. A staff member turned up later in the afternoon and I questioned her about it. She said they should come on by just movement, which I said wasn’t happening and she said she’d report it. We tried all sorts of things turning lights on and off using door swipe again, there was no system that worked constantly, but we did manage to get them on each time eventually. Also there was no compendium with instructions for this, arrangements for keys on departure, suggestions for meals and points of interest. All this would have been helpful since there was no one at reception, just a locked key box with code sent to you prior to arrival.

It was clean. There was enough parking space.
The room lights had motion censors installed weirdly. If you alone and in the toilet, lights will go off. Lights also went off in the main area sometimes even when we were on the room.
There was no leasurly space in the room. Quite tight.
The way to the room was not straight forward. There were stairs, no lift.

Very easy to book & get key on arrival from the box. Very clean and reasonably priced. Great location - not far from town and Mt Panorama. Easy to Park.
Needed another blanket or Doona. It is a cold time of year in Bathurst and I don't like sleeping with the heating on. I used the bedspread cover in the cupboard as extra bedding. But an extra blanket would have been good.

Nothing
This not a hotel it’s a boarding house or youth hostel. Very expensive for what it is. This would be very disappointing for a couple or family to turn up and stay here if you didn’t know the location.

plenty of space around the property, full kitchen available
was given a top floor room, that’s a lot of steps to climb with luggage. We will ask for ground floor only in future (we’re in our 70’s)

The bathroom walls an defect on them an the smell in the fridge from the tray underneath the little ice box

Smart TV was present in the room with netflix, amazon prime and disney+ which was a great relief, bathrooms and rooms themselves were spacious and ample onsite parking was available
Staff were a bit rude during check-in, rooms were not as clean as they could be (my allergies were significantly flared up, with some moths flying around. Rooms are on ground-level but the windows are floor to ceiling on the ground too, with people walking by being able to see in. Window from the bottom up, creating an opening on ground level, and was incredibly dusty. Bit outdated of a hotel.

Bed was super comfortable. Easy late check in and early check out.

Quiet location. Availability of kitchen and bbq facilities.
Shower door could not open very wide due to proximity of toilet. We were okay but could be a problem for some people.

very cute, I loved that it is a renovated heritage building!

Love the location, quite and peaceful at night, most of what you need are provided. Facility is clean in general.
Lights timers were really quick and quite annoying at times mostly when taking shower and using the toilet even when we’re unpacking our stuff I have to constantly turn the switch off and count 1-10 then turn it back on. Lampshades were a bit dusty. The provided wifi password doesn’t even work even on our first time use of the facility few months ago.
